We drove an hour and a half for a car that started and drove according to the boss. Once there: the car (in a state well below the internet description) cannot start "at the risk of blowing up the engine". If I could I would rate this a zero! Horrible customer service. My daughter is in critical condition at the hospital. I went in there to get a copy of the registration so I can bring it to the hospital they need it to prove residence. The manager would not give it to me. Her payment is only $125 behind he asked me to let one of the guys from the lot ride with me to go get her car. We are planning on her getting better so she will need that car. But should she pass we told them that we would give it back and bring them the money. I've never dealt with people so heartless in my life. read more

Absolutely awful to deal with. I wanted to buy a Transit Cargo van from them. i stopped in and no one helped me. then i called them and they apologized so i gave them another chance, since then i have called them 6 times and i keep getting the same story that i will get a call back. i flat out asked them, do you wanna sell truck or not! Obviously they do not. Since i still have not got a call back. I would never recommend them. i wish i could give them a big fat zero !!!!! read more

Buyer beware this car lot is made up of a bunch of scammers who know nothing about vehicles and will sell you a lemon. An claim that vehicle runs fine. Two people in particular to not to deal with or believe are Patricia and Jim. My personal experience with both have been nothing but regrets. I live in Panama City, an was looking to buy Camaro from Target Auto brokers. Jim contacted me 1st about 1994 Camaro with 77,000 miles on it that ran like a gem. That he himself (Jim) said was driveable an able to make long haul back to Panama City. So I wasn't able to make it to look at 94 Camaro an took Jim's word that it didn't have any issues. I paid for vehicle, during entire process both Jim and Patricia were there through each phone call helpful but as soon as payment went through. They both stopped answering phone calls an not calling back in timely matter. I had Camaro transported to me(own expense) an as soon as I heard it crank up an drive I knew my buy wasn't as described by Jim. Camaro was knocking an had no oil pressure, head liner handing down, driver and passenger windows don't let down. After I received Camaro I called Patricia and Jim an they brushed me off saying what do you expect for a 20 something year old car to run like that yes it has issues. But surely not the issues I was describing to them. All they did was pay for title an extra set of keys for me. Now the car I bought from Target Auto is sitting in my backyard needing a while new Engine.. Karma will get them in the end! read more

I don't want to even give this business one star. I feel like we dodged a bullet on this one. Will never consider buying a car from Target Auto Brokers in Sarasota Florida. Here's why: new to south central Florida. Have cash to buy a car. Considering an older luxury convertible of some kind. Looking and shopping. Shopping mainly on yahoo marketplace. Saw a car posted by "Rudy". Car claimed to have one an award at a car show. Red flag #1: avoid sellers who's reviews are hidden. Sent message. Asked for interior pics. Response was only to stop by and ask for Rudy. Red flag #2: avoid sellers who have evasive responses. A couple days later made the trip to Sarasota to see/drive the car. Conveniently "Rudy" was not there. Red flag #3: walk away if the person you messaged is mysteriously not available. Talked to another sales person. Found out the car was rebuilt after a wreck. Car looked good but had some flaws. Wasn't going to drive it. Salesman encouraged us to drive it. So we did. Wasn't impressed but didn't bash his car. We just left. A day or two later got a message from "Rudy" asking if we liked the car. We responded it was nice but we weren't ready to buy just yet. Still looking. "Rudy" responded with a rude message telling us to not go out and drive cars for fun with no intent to buy!!!! Called me a liar!!! I responded back giving full details of the flaws and that we are indeed in the market to buy but because of his rudeness would never consider buying from them!! I told him good luck selling his car. He responded that selling cars was not luck...that if they don't sell they go to auction and sell in a day. We suspect the salesman was actually "Rudy." We are a mature and astute older couple with lots of life experience. We dodged this business. Hope we can help someone else to steer clear as well. read more
