3/7/26 Taking advantage of my BOGO coupon AND gift card, this transaction cost me $0.66, otherwise it would've been over $11. It's my Febreeze, laundry refresher & sir refresher. I cook with garlic & onions 99 % of the time, these come in handy a thousand % of the time. .... And why have I NOT reviewed THIS Target that I frequented back when I lived in Lakewood? It used to be Target Greatland a few years back, I think. Like most Targets , it is fairly organized, well stocked, provide good selection & usually friendly staff. The aisles are wide & easy to navigate. Items are visibly sorted for simple & facile shopping. Name brands are placed next to store brand/generic for quick & obvious comparison. I like that. I noticed some darling outfits perfect for SPRING. Speaking of SPRING (I know, my ADHD is leaping/jumping, pardon the pun) ..... SPRING FORWARD tomorrow) Back to our regular program. Spring clothes are popping up. This Target location, along with with the Lakewood Center Mall Target are in my top 3 favorites for facility of use. Prices are fair. Parking is free & plentiful. I like the Starbucks located inside of this store. Good shopping experience. The restroom needed some upkeep though. read more

I do online orders for store pickup at this location a lot. Like a lot. I like that you can make returns and pick up orders in the same area! This is not the case for some other locations. This target is clean and it's always quick for me to go in and out. I've gone super early in the morning, very late at night, and all sorts of different times in between and I always park in the same spot, so it's honestly very convenient. I grew tired of the Lakewood Target on candlewood and made this my Target instead and haven't looked back. I also always use the self checkout as it's always so much faster than the other lines. I can't remember the last time I checked out with an actual cashier. read more

This Target location is one of the more nicer locations and also has a better selection of items than other Target locations I have been too. This store is large with plenty of parking. Also close to freeways, restaurants and the Los Cerritos Mall. Stays open later than some Target locations. Highly recommended Target location for those in or near the area. read more

This is a huge store. All the aisles are numbered, so it is easy to find what you're looking for. Unfortunately, I was looking for spray for pet stains on my rug. I found it right away. If you go online, you can look up all your items and where they are located, so it is super easy and you don't have to walk around the whole store. read more

SMH. If any corporate target people read reviews this store needs help ASAP. I went on today to grab a pair of Sony wireless headphones that were on sale. There were no signs posted however no worries target has a price match guarantee right? I tell the associate about the price match. Show my phone with the price and she pretened to not hear me. Went to the register she tries to charge me full price and I ask again about the price match. She turns to her lead who says, "oh its for target circle members only" Okay no problem I am one! I put in my phone number and the price doesn't change.. We all look to the lead again and now the answer was, "oh the deal expires today the 11th" Well today is still the 11th, its not midnight. I ask again if they can honor it. I mean I am a member, I can place the order online with the sale price. Its directly from target.com? Why am I getting different excuses? Why can't they honor it? We get walked down to guest services because we asked to speak to a manager as we are all confused and the answers are so odd. Surely there must be someone with a clear answer as to why they can't honor their own pricing. I wait to speak to guest services, where they tell me the same thing. Put in my number it'll come off....and the same thing. Its not showing up. The associate turn to their manager who said they wouldn't be able to honor it because it's considered a circle item and it could only be honored if I place it online and wait the two hours for online pick up. HUH?!? How does that make sense?? This is not a competitor this is from target.com! You can't price match your own prices from online? Aren't all circle items target items? Why did I get four different answers? WHATS THE TRUTH?! I am not convinced. I had to call targets customer service number and GUESS WHAT??!?! THEY COULDVE AND SHOULDVE HONORED IT FOR ME BECAUSE ITS THE SAME THING. The associate over the phone said the manager had authority to overwrite and honor it. She said they are going to investigate and let the store leaders know and that they will take action to ensure this never happens again. Okay... but I still have to wait for my item now. The literal manager clearly doesn't know her own job. The lead in electronics cant tell time. This store is a mess. Looks like we need some retraining and leadership needs to be aware of how your store is being perceived by guests. This target used to be so good and now I guess all the good smart associates left. And all that's left is incompetent leaders who don't know how their policies work. TLDR: Dont spend your hard earned money at this target. Associates are tired and not trained correctly. This is not my regular Target. Stopped in by chance as we needed TP and some other domestic items. Selection was rough, lots of empty shelves, had to choose a different TP brand. :P Value wise I guess it's ok, but I was just @ "my" Target a few days prior and I felt like things were more expensive here. Service was rough, not many cashiers and the place was packed so I went self-checkout - not sure what was going on, but the whole area smelled terribly. It was a motivator to keep things moving, but man oh man. In all I got my items and were alive, but they certainly have some work to do. read more

Target gal here! Goshhh I love Target for many reasons. They have a great plant-based selection of foods. And I love their clothing. I get my pajama's and sleep shorts here. The yoga pants and leggings are super comfortable as well. I just love the brands that they carry. I recently ordered some tanks tops and pajama bottoms from this Target store. I had them delivered since I couldn't go pick them up with my work schedule. The items all came, the right sizes and in good condition. No issues on my end. I am happy. I love Target! It is the best. I'll be back for the vegetarian and vegan foods. And probably the comfortable clothes too. See ya soon Target lol :D read more

Just came back from this store. Waited over 15 minutes in line while one poor employee at a register had to hurry and check out guests all while watching her line grow and grow. Nick, the manager, walked by several times as did several of his employees, and did absolutely nothing about it. This is easily one of the worst Target stores give been to. This seems to be a recurring theme over and over when I visit this location but in all honesty- Target's customer service itself has become horrible over the years. read more

Your standard Target. I go to this location once in a while since I'm in the area pretty often. The traffic in and out can get a little hectic, especially on the weekends, as it's a popular area, but I've never had an issue with getting parking as the lots really big. They have all of the typical items you need for day to day, and I come here to stock up on snacks or to pick up ingredients when I get lazy to go to the supermarket. It's very convenient as they have a good range of items that cover a wide variety of dishes. This location is always well-stocked and clean. Very rarely their self-checkout line will be really long, but moves fairly quickly. read more

Let me start off by saying that this store is excellent! I used to live within walking distance here so this is one of my favorite Target stores. It's clean, beautiful and well stocked. Customer service is pretty good as well. My review is based on what happened recently and I wanted to put this out there as a warning to others who plan on buying gift cards at this Target location. This past Christmas I did a lot of my Holiday shopping at this location. I decided on buying my brother a Target gift card so he can buy whatever he wants(some men are hard to shop for). Anyhow, I got the Target gift card from one of the aisles near the party supply section. I loaded it, got a receipt and gifted it to my brother. After Christmas when all was done. He calls me and says the gift card has no value. I told him that's impossible, I have the receipt and everything. Well. He was right! I went to see him, got the gift card with the PIN number and access code. Called a representative and sure enough, the money I loaded did go through but almost instantly, the money was taken out, used or something. Apparently there are thieves that go around stealing money off the gift cards, they get the codes off the cards and once they find out someone loaded them, they steal that money almost instantly. So, my brother had no gift from me for Christmas. I'm wondering how many other people who got gift cards here were victims? The gift cards at this location have been tampered with so be careful when purchasing gift cards at this Target store. I didn't notice anything off about the card but again, I wasn't actually looking for any tampering because I didn't feel like I needed to. Thieves are everywhere. This isn't the stores fault but I wanted to put this out there that if you plan on buying a gift card, ask an associate to check the card first before loading it. read more

I forgot to bring a baseball cap from home. I saw this Target store so I decided to drop in and search for a cap here. I prefer going to Target rather than Walmart stores because they tend to be less crowded and cleaner. This was the case with this particular Target store. Plenty of parking spots. Clean store both inside and outside. The staff member I spoke to was helpful. So why just 3 stars? They did not have what I needed. There was no selection of sports caps for me to choose from. I am very disappointed with my recent experience at Target in Cerritos. The store had very limited staff available, and the self-checkout registers were closed due to understaffing. This caused long wait times and frustration for customers. To pay or wait for assistance from a Target team member takes 20 plus minutes or more. When help finally arrives, the staff / Target members often seem clueless and unable to provide effective support. Given the size and reputation of Target, and the large number of customers they serve, it's unacceptable that such basic issues with staffing and service are happening. They need more staff, or managers should be more actively assisting clients and consumers. I hope Target addresses these issues to improve the shopping experience. read more

I've been trying to use a gift card I've been holding onto, but this target really has nothing worth buying. I've been coming here once every few weeks to see if there are new products that can spark my interest, but each time I come it appears they have less and less assortment outside of their groceries. Not sure if all targets lack excitement like this one, but it's quite frustrating that I can't get rid of this gift card of mine. LOL. I don't know what it is about this Target, but it's always had some of the absolute WORST Employees here. I could ask for the most simple thing in the nicest way possible and the employees will still find a way to blow me off out of their way in the rudest way possible. The main thing I only ever really ask is if they can see if they have more of something I'm looking for and 9/10 times, I'll be hit with "It's whatever we have" and they walk off. Not to mention the self checkout employees have a stick up their ass when it comes to coupons that are literally PASTED on the food products I'm trying to purchase. Also the big heavy guy who works at the Tech Desk is a major a**wipe. The people who work the Toy sections are also a bunch of chumps who can't even do their basic job of customer service. Worst Target Drive Up experience -when it's busy and even when there's only 2 cars at the drive up spots. Employees have no emergency in their stride to clear up the parking lot! I've been here all week the 23rd and 24th waiting an hour + for items unavailable at other locations (only reason I keep coming here). One manager even complained about his own employees saying these kids just stand around and their performance is disappointing. I know people who work at target and they are paid anywhere between $20-$32 hourly on the low end. They get paid enough to work accordingly. I'm very patient usually but this has become a pattern. AVOID DRIVE UP HERE! Try Lakewood or Long Beach instead. read more

Order something on the Target App for Drive Up Pickup. I have only done this 3 times in my life. First two times went smooth and item was out within 8 minutes. Last time and today I have been waited more than 15 minutes. There were 14 cars waiting when I arrived and 10 min in only 2 had left. It seems staffing is poor. Also when looking at Target associates carts they are only brining out one or two items out at the most instead of getting multiple orders and then going car to car. Very inefficient process. Target if you see this improve your process. I could have walked in and purchased my item in 5 minutes. read more

This review is for drive up orders. I have been meaning to write this for a long time but didn't want to hold it inside. The manager or whoever it is needs to train certain employees how to be polite and welcoming to costumers. If customers make a mistake, you don't have to be all rude and make fun of certain customers or give customers a hard time.
