The employees were very helpful when I was looking for something. The store was clean, bright and well-organized. I found what I needed and they had a good selection. The Halloween candy was a little expensive but I suppose that's the economy we're in. The self-checkout line was a little long but fortunately, they had three ladies working at registers. I really like this target out of all the targets in the Chattanooga area. Not only do they have more variety in clothes, food and accessories, I especially in my other shoe section and the variety of size 11 women's shoes that they have. I often have a hard time finding shoes because most stores only carry up to a size 10. They are very organize, neat, and have great customer service. Oh and the natural black hair care section is amazing. You can almost gets all the items you need and discover new products as well. I've never been in a Target that was SUCH a disaster. It made me so sad! I cherish trips to Target by myself - and the total disarray of every inch of this store completely hindered not only my personal shopping experience, but ultimately how much money I spent. The women's clothing section - junior to plus size was a disaster! Clothes, accessories, hangers all over the floor of the entire area. It was so stressful to try and make my way through it, I had to leave. I'm sure they are short on help, but I can't imagine a manager walking into this store everyday and not feeling sick to their stomach. Total disappointment since we only have two Targets in the area. :( read more

Target to the rescue. Savannah Shoemaker made it possible for me to sleep tonight. About three months ago my other air mattress started leaking during the middle of the night. The store that I work at purchased a brand new mattress for me. Today I deflated my air mattress because I wanted to put my bedding back on. The air pump in the air mattress didn't work. I am writing this review in hopes of maybe, just maybe Target will see this and act. Every single time I have visited this location and had to use the women's restrooms, it is DISGUSTING! Filthy, water on the floor in the stalls, toilet paper and protectors on the wet floors, and, my apologies in advance, used tampons on the floor! On one visit, I ran into an employee on my way out while she was coming in and attempted to let her know there was water everywhere and she yelled "I don't care! I have been trying to go to the restroom for over an hour now!" and walked away from me. I was in shock! I just left the store. Placed a pick up order at 230- knowing with the holidays it might be a little bit. App stated within an hour at time of purchase. At 430 I called to inquire about the order- no one picks up the phone. 515pm I went to the store. Was rudely told by customer service too bad. She could've cared less. Order was still not ready. Another fantastic Target experience, polite and engaged staff both loading up carts and helping with self checkout, large, wide, and clean arrangement of products but we only poked around for one thing having recently discovered the Rockstar Unplugged Hemp infused sparkling energy drink! Us guys went a little crazy looking all over Atlanta on our trip up home in Indiana but not seeing a close Target or Kroger carrying the Rockstar this turned out to be the golden goose on our roadtrip. Oddly the bottles were hidden near the checkout like the typical mass produced stuff which was weird to me for a new product, had to wonder all over the grocery before noticing the winnings right at the entrance near the self checkout. We snagged all thirty some in stock and happily better for it each bottle quite cheaper than Kroger. Have learned later that some Walmarts are even much cheaper! But totally thrilled on our way home to have a great zesty beverage at a decent price, this location isn't too far off our route, offered good parking, and the Target self checkout continues to be easily the all time best making scanning fast without a delay to check weights and smart integration of electronic gift cards. read more

Waited in line for over 25 minutes.. waited and waited in 1st line then to to go to another line because I was waiting so long... the line I went to was slow as well and as I waited in line 2.. the first line started moving and 5 customers went through #1 before I even got to the actual cashier and was denied the product because they said it wasn't allowed to be sold until 10/4 ... management needs to learn to train their employees!!! Thank you for wasting an hour of my life... the product was a Pop MewTwo toy which comes in a case of 4.. and the other 3 were gone... hmmm discrimination or are their employees stealing? I'll tell you right off the bat the reason I gave this store 4-stars is because it was really hard to find any service around to assist me. Now that we got that big hussy out of the way everything else is your run-of-the-mill Target store! It is pretty much built like the rest of them now in the nation and it does have a cold grocery section which is always convenient, but I do find their prices pretty high. We were in there actually looking for a toy for my daughter and it actually happened to be very wiped out. So I will say I don't think they restock very well. There was a few section of the toy aisles that were completely wiped out and it was a weekend. I feel like that is a very high influx of customers that you should definitely be prepared for but they were not. Lines and staff at the registers were pretty decent as sometimes it is very irritating when there's not enough and even when the line forms no one comes but you do not have to worry about that at this location. They do pretty well at that and I've never seen that in my many times visiting. Have fun, shop well and no Starbucks! read more

I went into the Gunbarrel Road location searching for a picture frame I needed for a funeral service earlier today. I picked one I liked, but couldn't locate a price. I searched fir a price scanner nearby and the closet one was missing. I grabbed a smaller frame and proceeded to the checkout. The cashier, Payton, at the self checkout was very helpful in doing a price check. The item I really wanted was just a bit more than the amount I had on me. Without any question, Payton, assisted me with my purchase. I feel Payton should be commended on her excellent customer service, customer satisfaction, dedication and commitment to her job. Great prices especially when they have sales! But poor Customer Service cancels out all that goodness!! Matt in returns and Customer Service is on a whole different side of rude. He's just plain disrespectful, he behaved as though we were below him, as if he was somehow superior to everyone he was waiting on. It was hard to watch and then irritating to have to deal with ourselves. I certainly hope this gets back to his supervisor and they help him become a better employee, someone who actually cares about the customers he serves. Three stars because...Mens section is awful. Items are just thrown on shelves and staff obviously does not bother to organize and straighten up but the lady's section looks constantly cared for. Been to many Targets in Georgia that kept ALL sections neat and organized and this store obviously doesn't care. I Can't believe I forgot his name already but what great customer service. I was there this morning around 11 Am I think. He was helping stocking shelves I think and dropped what he was doing and came over immediately. I had to return something I purchased in Florida the week of the Hurricane warning and did not have time to return it there. He went out of his way to make the exchange because it was not working quite right on the computer. He also, without blinking an eye, price matched an item I wanted to purchase by showing him the cheaper price. Great friendly service!! read more

I love to shop at Target. This Target needs front end manager help really bad. I stood in line for over 30 minutes with one item. The express checkout was backed into the store. The young (team) was running around pulling hangers from each register. Nothing else. I love the set up of this target, it is easy to find what I need. I also love the customer service and that I never have to wait in a long line (as the Target standard is that) - I also love that they have a great Starbucks and cup holders available to get your coffee and shop! My only complaint is that the dollar aisle is messy and out of stock pretty often. I used to think it was supposed to be that way, until I visited other targets! Other than that, I do enjoy coming here for my shopping needs. read more

Ordered a pickup order, waited an hour and a half for the confirmation email to come, took another 15 to get to the store. They hadn't even started to get the items together. Had to stand around for 20 minutes while they did it then. Would have been easier to just do it all myself. Don't offer a service if you can't be bothered to deliver on it. read more

I love love love Target, but here in the Chattanooga area there are only two Targets, neither one are very close to me. I usually go to Hixson location but the Gunbarrel location is closer to my work. I haven't had the best experiences at this location in the past, but yesterday I ordered an air conditioner online as my window unit in my bedroom just died and it's been over 100 degrees out. I got a great deal online and the item was in stock and I could pick it up that day. I was going to do some shopping first but there weren't any of the handicap scooters available. The 2 they had out were not charged. I have to use one at the moment due to recent foot surgery. Ok, well, I guess I'll just get my A/C and go. The Customer Service Rep was very kind and accommodating. She inquired about my cast and I asked if I could get help putting the unit in my car. She was very friendly and said, of course we'd be happy to help you. They had me get my car to the front of the store and a very nice young man put it in the car for me. So I loved the Customer Service but was sad I couldn't do more shopping because there weren't any scooters to use. read more

This is the closest Target to us. Sadly it seems like it shows its wear and tear though. The entry way seems a bit beat up and worn. But I appreciate the carts and wipes being so handy. In particular I like the ease of finding what I'm looking for. Things don't get moved around very much which I appreciate. The service is so so. I rarely get asked if I need help from an associate but the cashiers always seem to be very kind and helpful. I rarely come here for food or to dine. But it would be nice to see a Starbucks in the store like so many Targets across the country. read more

I gave 4 stars solely due to the fact that my wife and I love Target. We come multiple times a week, and until today, everyone has been helpful and nice. I believe that Kim, a cashier, may be a new employee with an attitude issue. My wife and I had purchased some larger items that an employee was bringing us from the back. When he arrived, Kim stated to us, "uh, I think he meant to send you guys over there and not to my line." I told her that he had told us that line would be fine. Then while waiting for one last item from the back (a beautiful wicker bench), Kim said, "step to the side so I can help other customers." I had no issues with letting others go ahead of us, but again, it was truly the attitude. Finally, the icing on the cake, another customer had left some things at the counter and came back to get them, but Kim had another employee take them back and put them away. When the lady was upset about her items, Kim rolled her eyes and said "my God" under her breath. I think this was inappropriate to say in front of customers and about PAYING customers. Just beware of Kim, and I would pick another line if I were you. To make a positive comment, Ryan and Robert were both very helpful helping us put the items in our car and playing Tetris trying to make them fit! Thank you guys for your hard work. My wife and I came in for the Hunter sale and they gave us instructions before entering the store. The manager also told us the product is all in one location and where to find the product. Whether you need groceries, diapers, clothing, or movies. This Target had it all and are very friendly. I would recommend this Target to all my family and friends. read more

I have shopped at Target stores for at least 40 yrs, but the past few yrs they have been losing my trust and loyalty because of lack of good customer service. Last year I fell in this store and could not get up. An employee saw me and stared and then turned the other way. I have RA and when I'm down on the ground, I cannot get up without help. It was at least 6 months before I came back. Now, twice I have had cashiers put my bananas in with canned goods or other heavy items. When I ask them to please bag my bananas separately, I get an eye roll rather than an apology. Seriously considering not going back. read more

I love target. Really, I do. But not this target. More often than not, this target is very dirty; trash is all over the floor and overflowing from trash cans both inside and outside the store. A lot of the selection is very limited, especially the grocery side. I've definitely been to better targets and will strive to find a better one closer to me. read more

Target and the mobile station in Target do not know what is going on. They are not talking to each other. They keep passing us off to different people and they do not know what is going on. It is a very simple transaction. We are trying to buy and watch and we want it to be price matched to the price online. That should be very easy. Everyone that we have talked to keeps saying oh I don't work in the mobile department I do not know what is going on. Don't try to buy anything here if you want it to be price matched because they will give you the run around. Also after 45min of them bouncing us around the manager refused to price match. I went here for the first time today. It was average for a Target. Average selection, average prices, average everything. The reason it gets four stars is the cashier I had today. She was great. I must have called her over half a dozen times (self checkouts and small children aren't a good combination), and she was great about it. Understanding and still smiling despite the fact she was constantly running from one self check out to another to help people. She even walk me through the cartwheel app. Adorable and sweet. I don't remember her name but she talks a little too fast and looks so pale. Seriously, this girl really needs some sun. Chubby face, dark blonde-ish hair. Great girl.
