A standard Target compared to the others I've been to. It had everything a normal Target has; a large selection of things. Prices and value were comparable to the others, especially with the Red Card. This one seems to be the town's hotspot since it's super busy. Parking lot was big and hectic, but we were able to find up close parking. We had to pick up some essentials for our hotel we were staying in nearby. This store seems to be in a central location and close to many amenities. They had grocery items and most of your lifestyle needs. They also had a Starbucks. I recommend using the red card since it 5% off your total. The cashier was friendly and gave stickers to my little ones. Target in Concord NH is a mess! There are baskets full of clothes and items all over the store. The shoe section is a disaster. Clothes all over the floor in the clothes sections. I understand being short staffed but wow. read more

This location is a dump. The inside appearance gives the impression that it is going out of business. The store is a perpetual mess, items on the floor, almost nothing is where it should be, employees avoid and ignore you if you can find one. Shelves are constantly empty; it was like this before, during and after Covid so you can't pass the buck on that one. Online inventory compared to what is actually in the store is a joke because it's so far off. Doing an online order to pick up in store is worthless because many of the items get removed from your cart because employees can't find it either due to the disarray of the store. So many items have a "limited quantity" so you have to go in to get the item but when you do it's no where to be found. (See comment about it being a mess) The number of registers open is aggravating, and I'm not going to "self" checkout...you want me to run a register then pay me I don't work for Target I'm a customer! And it's quickly approaching former customer. Some items are decently priced but others are wildly over priced. Many I can get from my local grocery store for as much as $2 cheaper. So there is really no incentive to continue shopping here. read more

Very disappointed in Target. I have been a loyal customer for a decade and decided to use them for our baby registry. Big mistake. In short, we asked for one stroller but 2 people purchased the same stroller around the same time - which wasn't really suppose to happen. We received one of the Chicco stroller but we never received the 2nd stroller. So we called to report it MIA - they investigated it but whoever purchased it, did not leave their name. So Target said there is nothing they could do because they cant find the tracking number. So we are out a stroller worth $350 and Target gets to keep the money and the product. I called twice to argue my case but neither person replaced the item or offered us a gift card for the miss item. They did apologize and both said, verbatim, they would "pass this on but they could not guarantee a call back." When I asked what the next steps were, they both repeated the same line again. Bogus. So in short, Target beats Amazon but never use their Registry system as they just stole $350 from my wife and I. read more

Considering how much staff corporate allows and it's not much everyone there is great and hard working. Some should think about when its pouring out, snowing, freezing, slippery and sometimes theres just one person spoiling you to make it easier on you. Think about saying thank you , if you cant be nice then go in yourself . For those who complain should work there a day and put your foot in there shoes. Dont just run your mouth saying this is what they get paid. Well atleast they are working and it's not much considering how customers can be extremely rude by leaving their manners at the door. Respect them please. I think returns and outside deliveries is wonderful, shoe side cant keep up with customers taking everything out and not putting back. Pretend it's your house or visiting a friend. Would you do that? Everyone on register's are doing their best with the staffing they are allowed. Once again, that's corporate. Not the managers there. I shop at Target quite frequently and I shop at the Concord Target the most since it's conveniently located near my workplace. Like other Target stores in NH, this store is very clean and bright with wider aisles (more room to walk) than Wal-Mart. The interior and layout of this Target location was remodeled last year and now offers a decent variety of groceries and frozen foods. I shop at Target mainly for the latest music and movies (new releases) since the sales prices are very competitive with Best Buy, Wal-Mart and FYE. Best Buy is located next door making it very easy to comparison shop. Some of the deluxe CDs I've purchased are limited edition and only sold at Target stores. However, there were a few occasions when the new release CDs were not put out for sale in timely fashion (on a Tuesday afternoon?) and I ended up driving to the Hooksett Target to purchase the new release CDs I wanted. Also, the cafe in front of the store is a great place to pick up a light snack and those grab & go salads make for a good quick lunch, especially when my lunch break is only 30 minutes. This location does not have a Starbucks kiosk like Target stores in Bedford and Salem, but there's are good standalone Starbucks with Drive Thru located very close by. read more

My husband ran inside to grab a button up shirt and wanted to get a new wallet. A manager loudly told her employees to "watch" my husband as he was looking at wallets. This was very embarrassing for him considering how vocal she was to "call him out" on something that he would never do in the first place. This is beyond unprofessional and inappropriate. When you're abroad for nearly a year, that first trip back into a Target is as religious an experience as one can get. It has EVERYTHING. It's bright, big and clean. There's tons of shampoo. You can buy a box of 250 Ibuprofen without coughing up your driver's license. The cheese section - dear gods - it is beautiful. Let me tell you....when this Target (pronounced: tar-jz-eh...because pronoucing things as if they were French makes it/us classy) came into my little NH life, it was a giant beacon of light in the bargain shopping world! The dollar section - always a must (you can find all sorts of stuff in there...some more useful than others, but it's a DOLLAR). I always love Target's clothing selection - kind of cheap hipster-chic, and their clearance rack often yields excellent finds. Always a clean and put-together store with great customer service and just about anything you're looking for (batteries? closet organizer? fedora? warm pretzel? - all of the above *and more*). This particular review was sparked by my recent stop and purchase of *da-da-da-DA!!!* my Droid 2 !!!! That's right, peeps, there is now a Verizon kiosk at the Concord Tarjayyyyy! #1: my Mum had phoned earlier and had asked the hours of this particular part of the store (Target closes at 10pm, but the kiosk itself/the customer service rep leaves at 9p); upon hearing the hours, and knowing that I was commuting up from Boston, she asked if there was any way that the rep wouldn't mind staying until I arrive (by 8:45) to make the sale. The answer: yes (the Verizon store would NOT have done this for us). #2: I had narrowed my upgrade selection down to the Droid 2 and the HTC Incredible. So I was playing with the display phones (you know...click-click, tap-tap, what seems like it could take a hit if I dropped it from my clumsy fingers) when I was approached by the rep, Dexter, who had guessed that I was the late appointment. He took my requirements into consideration and we debated the pro's and con's of each phone (....I apparently know nothing about consumer report research, lol, this guy knows his isht!). He helped me with my selection (the keyboard really makes the difference, in case you, reader, are ALSO looking to upgrade to 3G). #3: Family arrives, Dexter gives each one of us the attention and advice we require (SERIOUSLY dedicated to customer service). He gave individual and detailed product descriptions, pricing, billing, connectivity, etc - on ANY phone we asked about (even phones not in our network - I had been curious about the HTC equipped with hinged keyboard, so he gave me the det's). He walks us through the 2year contact, he describes what we're buying and what we're paying....step-by-step-by-step. #4: Helps both my brother (HTC-devotee) and myself start up our phones and download some crucial app's ("task manager" and "anti-virus"...neither I would have known about if it hadn't been for Dexter, THANK YOU!). He helped us connect with Gmail, Facebook, Twitter, settings adjustments, let us know about useful app's (and how to avoid additional charges - yikes!). The man stayed with us until NEARLY 10PM!!!! AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE! AND he said that if we EVER had a problem to swing by the store and he'd sit down with us and help us out (the Droid's manual is SO big it doesn't actually come with the phone when you buy it....what?!), and he said that he'd help me out over the phone since I live so far away. Holy - moley - NEVER have I EVER been assisted by such a devoted and insightful representative. Target's cool - - - but this is DEF where I'll be at for future Verizon needs (this dude knows it all). read more

Paying more for less selection and bougie presentation is what Target is all about. True, the design of some items are more stylish than what you would find at Walmart, but the quality is not any better, and in some cases worse (ref their overpriced furniture made of compressed sawdust veneered with paper) and again, you pay more than you would for comparable if not superior merchandise somewhere else. I find the customer service, despite what the prevailing zeitgeist/social prejudice might want you to believe, is actually better at Walmart than at Target too. Walking around Target you can observe the low morale of the staff and hear the abusive admonishment from management of both workers and customers for no good reason. No wonder the store has an obvious revolving door of help. It seems Target has a talent for hiring broken down old work horses for managers who have made a career of dealing with the public despite having no people skills. I guess they are the best at enforcing corporate policies that exploit and harass both workers and the public at large. The check out is always deathly slow as the wisdom of management is to run the store understaffed, even during peak shopping hours and holidays. I would just say no to shopping at Target. This is an open review regarding a very positive experience my wife and I had at the TARGET store in Concord, NH on December 6th, 2018. Recently, some friends informed us that they had switched their cell phone service to Consumer Cellular and were quite satisfied with the savings they were getting, so we decided to look into it. After researching the Consumer Cellular website and checking their options, I made a list of questions and headed to the store to meet with an associate in person. We arrived at the TARGET store in Concord, NH and went to the electronics department where we met with "MICHAEL F". I found Michael to be very courteous, pleasant and extremely helpful as he answered my questions and explained all of our options. He was professional, but friendly, well versed in his subject material, and within a short period of time I was convinced that Consumer Cellular would be the best provider for our cell service. He also made sure that we were aware of, and were getting, all applicable discounts (including a $10.00 credit for our friend's referral) and even took another $5.00 off our purchase because it was my wife's birthday. We also decided to purchase new phones, and after Michael set up the phones and transferred data, pictures, etc. from our old phones, he helped to familiarize us with the new phone functions, being very patient and understanding with two seniors who are definitely not "tech savvy". Overall, I could not have been more pleased with the customer service and attention we received at the TARGET store in Concord, NH, and a special thanks to "Michael F", (who was "on loan" from a store in Maine). He gave the impression he actually cared about customers and treated us like "family". I consider him an asset to the Target "Team" and hope he will be recognized as such. Thank you. read more

The store itself is worth a solid four stars - pretty new, clean, lots of merchandise. Why a two overall? Well the customer service I received gets ZERO stars. I received a baby outfit as a gift and went to exchange it for the next size up. As someone whose career is in retail, I'd say that's about as straightforward an exchange as someone can make. However, Mr. I'm-In-A-Bad-Mood-And-Will-CUT-You Customer Service rep decided to make my day more difficult. When he asked for the receipt, which I did not have because it was a gift, he decided to accuse me of stealing the outfit. In a loud voice. So that the whole line behind me heard. When I explained the item was a gift and I had no receipt but I certainly did not steal it, he took that moment to yell loudly to the line "if you would just have your receipts out, this would go a lot faster!" Cue the dagger looks from the 5 people behind me all annoyed at waiting. Thanks, pal! Oh, and did I mention that since the item was now on sale it was an accused theft of $4.97? That's right, I am out to get you, Target! So he finally agreed to take it back and then in a huff returned the wrong size. When I told him this, he threw the new item I wanted on the floor (thanks again!) before FINALLY returning the right one and allowing me to go over the registers with my new gift card for $4.97 to buy the one I wanted. I'm proud that I was able to maintain a smile though that, but honestly dude - what's your problem?? Safe to say I will keep shopping at Target but make sure I NEVER return to that location for any form of customer service. read more

They are working very hard to become like wal-Mart, pallets of merchandise in the aisles, no team members around to help, check out usually one cashier and people directed to self registers. Shelves empty of merchandise messy product not aligned to labels. read more

By far this is the best shopping Concord has to offer. Seriously went to the mall afterwards and wanted to kill myself. The store was well stocked, clean and I checked out fast. My only complaint was I was looking for something and when I asked not one but two separate Target employees about it each looked at my blankly and said "I have no idea where we'd have that". They didn't tell me Target didn't have the item, just that they didn't know where it would be located...and neither offered to help me find it either. read more

The store itself is fine. Just another typical Target. But please when you advertise something all over the store, make sure your employees are aware of it. Signs everywhere said "Try on a pair of jeans and get a $10 off coupon at the dressing room." Well I tried on the jeans and the girl working the dressing rooms said the coupons were at customer service desk. Ok. Went to service desk. The girl there had no clue.
