Located in central Concord, we had to use Street parking. There seemed to be a very small parking lot at the side of the building but it was full. So I guys one complaint would be it would be nice if they had a larger parking lot. We opted for street parking using a parking meter. Seemed to have quite a few variety of items. Hit and miss. The selection ca be really awesome, some of the prices not so much. There seems to always be a good selection of old hardware in the back. There is a good quantity of antique as compared to a mix of old and new which can be annoying. My biggest gripe is with the records, there are 2-3 booths that have records unfortunately the one as you come in they are absolutely scratched crap . I have even mentioned to the staff that whoever has this booth should be spoken to. Other wise i have really never had a bad experience here. Around closing time it can be hard to find someone to check you out with how hard they are trying to take care of everything else to get out. Not a ton of furniture. read more

If you haven't been here in a few years, they've since moved into a gorgeous old brick mill building toward the north end of Storrs Street. Very different vibe from the long-time 2-floors at the bottom of Depot Street. The cabinets and stalls are all a much higher quality of vendor, and include coins, bottles, advertising, antique books, militaria, and lots of regional NH/New England items at a wide range of price points. Many antique historical pieces. Just know that if several people are checking out at the same time or if it's near closing, there may be a short wait. The clerks are very careful to log each item, so vendors are properly credited. They're always so helpful and pleasant. Having moved out-of-state a few years ago, this is always on the agenda when I'm back in Concord! read more

Concord Antiques is a nice store with a reasonable selection. Nonetheless, because of a strange, unpleasant, and offensive experience with an employee, my wife and I will not go back. My wife collects small antique figurines. We visit antique stores on weekends to look for unique items to add to her collection. Today we went to the Concord Antiques. We were having a fun time browsing when I noticed an employee hanging out very close to us acting as she was straightening things out. Nonetheless, it was obvious that she was watching us. I was tempted to confront her for this idiotic behavior, but I did not want to ruin the day for my wife. So, I chose to ignore her. When we went to pay for the items we had picked, the same employee was behind the register, but she did not talk, smile, or make eye contact with us. Instead, she called another employee from the back of the store to come and cash us out. As we left the store, my wife asked me if I noticed how that employee was behaving. Turned out we both had noticed how rude and inappropriate the employee's behavior was. My wife and I are in our 40s, both business professionals, well dressed and courteous. Naturally, we were at a loss to understand what had prompted this woman to treat us like thieves. As much as we liked the store, we decided not to ever go back. To be fair, the lady who cashed us out was very nice and friendly. Therefore, I should describe the rude employee to separate the two. She is a woman who appears to be in her late sixties with long, straight gray hair, and was wearing four large cross necklaces at the time of our visit. It is very unfortunate when one individual's bad behavior makes an entire business look bad. read more

Awful customer service. Very rude. Today my friends and I wanted to go look into this store since we had never before... and we took a picture of us. And this lady followed us, sooner than kicked us out saying we aren't welcomed in their shop. therefore made my friends and I feel very uncomfortable and unwelcomed. read more

Super selection of antiques that are always changing! The booths are well maintained and restocked on a regular basis. Because there are so many booths, there truly is something for everyone and I always find something that I can't live without. Definitely worth a trip....often!! read more

I've been a long time supporter of concord antiques I think they're a wonderful business. I went in today and was upset to see none of the staff wearing masks correctly, they all had them below their noses. Further when I was checking out, the cashier FULLY REMOVED HER MASK for several minutes and I felt very uncomfortable and unsafe. It's a global pandemic if you're not gonna be respectful then don't stay open. read more

it's just not good. the old shop was great, but the new location is underwhelming and the staff are verrrrrrrry slow and not accurate when totaling sales ... and get extremely angry when you call them out on mistakes. Not just being mean here, it took 20 minutes to check out 4 items... $12, $134, $18, $55. The answer is? Not $368. I told them I owed $219 and I thought the woman at the register was going to hit me. I just walked out and left my stuff on the counter. Idk I'm not a math genius but I'm always adding my purchases up in my head. And I resent not being able to prove my point because a computer screen is smarter than I am. But I'm not allowed to see the computer screen. I'd advise checking their math at best. And if the computer is smarter than you are ask them to prove it. And generally, don't trust anyone who gets so pissed of it is scary when you just ask a question. If I'm wrong, tell me or show me why. If you're wrong, just do the math again and say your sorry. These things are normal. Seriously! The staff at this place are not normal. The woman at the register actually scared me when I questioned the total. In the end, nothing I wanted was worth a fight. And nothing in this place can't be found elsewhere for a less demented experience. read more

The selection is really awesome but the folks running the place, not so much. We had an employee turn off the lights and tell us to get out. Yes, it was closing time but I wasn't even able to check out. Who turns away business (and I wasn't alone)? I've never been to an antique place where employees don't care, until this place. read more

Visited Concord Antique Gallery in fall of 2014. Found many reasonably-priced items here. It was my first antique shop on my trip, which set the bar pretty high! I really enjoyed this place. An excellent selection of collectibles and beautiful tea pots. Some of the prices of some of the vendors are quite affordable. I've been to other antique stores here in Northern New England and they tend to specialize in a lot of rustic primitives -- that's just not my thing. However, here it was gorgeous. Thumbs down! Their website is down. I have had a ceramic piece frustrating me for some time. I went by an article in the Concord Monitor's Insider from last March that indicated folks there were more than happy to help on appraisals. I called--after the 5th ring someone picked up who was clearly annoyed to be answering the phone. I asked if there was anyone there who would help on identifying a Wedgwood piece, and how much appraisals would be. With a VERY CHILLY voice the person at the other end of the phone answered they did not "do" appraisals, and the phone went silent. Pardon me! Great selections, but customer service not so much. I was shopping on a Sunday around 2 when all the sudden all the lights turned off! A man walked by and I asked him if they were closing and he said yes, due to weather. I had items in my hand I wanted to buy that I ended up putting down, and there were other people still shopping too. I left feeling like that wasn't the nicest customer service. I will probably go back, but keep that in mind. Laconia antique center has better customer service and they are very friendly. read more

This is a great group shop! Lots of cool, one of a kind items and the prices are very reasonable. A nice combo of high end, vintage, ephemera, and kitsch. A bit of newer, repro, and craftiques have snuck in lately, (you know - destroying antiques in the name of art and white-washing anything that stays still long enough!) but there are also some new higher end dealers that make up for it. The staff are great. Very friendly, methodical in checking to make sure items are entered correctly and very careful packing up items. I also love that this place is often open until 6pm! Top notch, good value and always changing assortment. You can shop here and not get bothered by nosy & bothersome sales associates or dealers. There is a bit of attitude in the shop, but there is crucial when you run an antiques business- theft is a giant issue with this type of business and EVERYONE is suspect, regardless of what the customer does or is wearing. I regularly buy from a lot of the booths here, spending from just a few dollars to several hundred per month. Open 7 days a week, which I like because I am not always around to shop on the weekends. Well worth your time and effort to come shop. Parking can be an issue, especially at lunch time, but that is only a very minor problem. CAG is good, affordable and a great place to shop. read more
