10/7/25 visit to Target was extremely disappointing. I attempted purchased a piece of furniture, a lighter and Diet Coke Lime (yes, it's back!). While waiting in the one line that was open, I was blown away by the lack of customer service from the cashier (white male, unkempt looking, tie dye target hoodie). The customer in front of me had two clothing items without tags. The cashier looked up the items on his scanner and sloppily tossed them into the bag (I would've been pissed it they were my clothes). Right before the customer stuck her card in the reader, the cashier told her the clothes without tags couldn't be returned. She obviously felt pressured to make a decision and offered to go find the same items with tags intact. The cashier canceled the sale and dumped the clothes back into her cart. No offer to print a tag, call for assistance, send her to guest services...nothing. I got to the register and my experience wasn't much better. I asked why the advertised Target Circle discount didn't apply to my purchase. He said, "no clue" with zero effort to assist. I ended up going to guest services and they scanned all of my items and said nothing in my cart was eligible for the target circle discount. That's fine. Got home and did a little research and literally the $200 lamp I purchased was $120 with the target circle discount. I went back to the store today and the error was corrected without hesitation. I stopped going to target when they went woke, but started popping in here and there. The lack of cashiers, crappy customer service and pain in the butt pricing errors just isn't worth it. The carts are nice though! Oh, and the Threshold lamp I bought was defective in color, making all of this hassle even more frustrating! read more

Wife and I are visiting from out of country and she was excited to visit Target in Cottage Grove, MN. I wanted to make a purchase with online-only Visa gift cards, so we shopped the store for the items we wanted and put them in our basket and in our online cart simultaneously. We went to customer service with the items and explained that we have these giftcards that only work online, so we got the items to make it easier to pick when we check out online. She said we need to wait at least two hours to complete the order. I asked why, as I had all the items right here in basket. She said that's how it works as people need time to go get the items. I reiterated that I had all the items right there. She said it doesn't work that way. She called for a shift leader at my polite request. She disappeared to talk to the shift leader over the radio and returned as the shift leader said "there's no way to rush the order," a thing I was not asking for. She said no again and that we can leave the items there. I was obviously frustrated (yet still polite) at what just happened and began to leave, and she smugly grinned and said have a nice day, happy she had "won" against the customer. Really terrible, disappointing experience. 0 stars if I could. read more

Stood waiting for a TL for at least 20 minutes in seasonal. Finally walked to front of store to guest service. Waited (which I was 2nd person) told guest advocate that I had been waiting back in seasonal. She looked at me told me 'we are busy' well, Karen, we are ALL busy. Left my cart, went and spent my $153 at Aldis across the street. Even though they also were 'busy' are timed, they checked a cost on an item that didn't have one. Maybe your 'team' needs coaching in guest service etiquette. If I may so bold as to suggest. A different approach. How about one showing respect, kindness, understanding. What has happened with Target. You pay lip service to how a guest should be treated, but don't follow through. Shameful. read more

Money grubbers. Review is for the pharmacy. I had been having issues with my prescription for a while and I was waiting for a PA approval on it. The entire time, they don't bother to contact me about it. I'd been paying full price, out of pocket while i waited for the PA. Then, out of the blue one night, they call just before 9 pm, which they usually never, EVER call me (and why the hell did they suddenly call so late at night too). The guy tells me that they can run my RX through for me that day and asked if I wanted him to. I said sure, cause I needed my RX. Turned out my PA was approved effective the next day. They called me on the cusp of their store closing down for the night, just so they could run the RX at their full price, not allowing me to use the PA approval for reduced cost the next day. THEY NEVER EVER CALL and to call so late at night just to coerce me into agreeing to run the RX that day so it couldn't be covered under the PA is disgusting. Money, grubbing bastards. read more

I love Target. Not crazy about the new layout, but it's still a great place to shop. Grab a Starbucks coffee when I walk in, shop clothes, housewares, food, etc. Love it all. Self checkout make it quick and easy to be on my way. read more

I purchased Pokémon cards for myself and my kids. Upon opening the blister pack, I found that all three boosters were open **and only had 9 cards each**. I fully expected to walk in today and they'd sympathize with the situation, maybe offer up an explanation as to how this could happen, but NOPE! Instead, the lady tells me to go grab another pack, to which I did, and upon returning she says, "were these ones open?" I said, "no", she says, "well then I don't see how the other ones could've already been open!". Seriously? It's a $12.99 pack of cards at a big box store. Literal pocket change was spent on this! Perhaps, had I shaved and dressed up some the retail worker would've been less of a *****, but that's not my prerogative. Target, you can give your store a facelift, but with employees like her, you'll always be playing catch-up with Amazon. read more

Racist and rude employee named Linda should be fired. I took my mother to shop for kitchen appliances. We were alone in an aisle quietly speaking amongst ourselves in Russian to talk about the different options. Suddenly, an older employee with short gray hair named Linda came rushing down the aisle to place stuff on the shelves. Instead of saying "excuse me", she angrily walked out of the aisle and said "foreigners are taking up too much space around here. They need to be sent back to where they came from." My family and I are never shopping here again. I cannot believe Target's "diversity and inclusion" initiatives allowed someone like this to work in their store. read more

I went to Target for a "no cost" flu shot. The lady asked me for my insurance and I handed her my VA health care card. She said "I've never heard of this" and handed it back. I tried to explain to her veterans affairs healthcare and she was not having it. She told me that they cant bill them (which I understand...I just thought it was free) and asked me if I want a discounted rate. No thanks, I'll just walk my happy ass to the VA and get a for real "no cost" flu shot. On the plus side though, I used the mobile check out and the lady working was very nice. read more

I come to this Target frequently, usually with my children in tow. Children always have to check out the bathroom. I'm glad that I didn't bring them today as the date on the cleaning log said 1/9 and it is 1/12 today. The soap was out in the dispenser and the whole bathroom smelled like a urinal cake. Disgusting. read more

Much better than the Hastings Target yet not as good as the Woodbury Super Target.

Total garbage I would rather to down the road to Wal-Mart. The grocery is lacking in choice, the electronics are garbage and salt target brand clothes ruin on the short side and don't fit right. read more
