We had the chance to visit this Target while staying at a nearby hotel. I like that Targets are pretty consistent wherever you go. Very convenient to pick up gift wrapping, grooming items, snacks and other misc items that do not pack well. I also found it interesting that you can get some form of fireworks here. read more

Let's talk customer service ... specifically at the customer service / return area. There were three employees working behind the counter, there was pile of clothes off to the side, two customers were being helped then two people ahead of us in line - not a big deal. The first two customers left then one of the employees left the area, employee #2 was on the phone and employee #3 was trying to start helping a customer when employee #2 who was on the phone swatted her away from the register, this happened three times. Finally, the helpful employee #3 who was trying to help gave up and walked away - employee #2 was STILL on the phone. When she finally got off the phone, there were two people still ahead of us and now five behind - but only ONE employee. That one employee (the one that was on the phone) then proceeds to make the customers wait while she starts VERY SLOWLY hanging up the pile of clothing that was off to the side. Finally, 1/2 way through her pile she decided to help the two people ahead of us - when they leave she goes back to hanging the clothes. Doesn't even acknowledge or speak to the line of customers. Wish I could say that was the first time this has happened but ... NO. So frustrating --- maybe some customer service training is needed for these young high school or college aged employees that man your customer service desk. read more

I would like to preface this review with the fact that I am a huge Target fan. In fact, I used to work at Target. That being said, if I could give this store 0 stars I would. #1 They never have anything in stock. I visited this store 3 times in one week (following the delivery schedule that the employee told me) and they never got the shower curtain I wanted back in stock. I finally asked another employee and she said "I don't know when we'll get it. There's no way to know. Sorry". It's a shower curtain. LOOK IT UP. Or order one... #2 The employees are unhelpful bordering on rude. From the un-helpful shower curtain girl to the bitchy manager they are all awful. They don't care if you get what you came to buy. They don't care if you come back. The customer service is complete crap. I've received much better customer service at the nearby walmart, and that is sad. At least that shower curtain girl helped me look. #3 I will order from Target online, wait for my stuff, and pay shipping before I go back to this Target and support their business. I hope that manager gets a tickling cough that lasts for years. The motto is supposed to be "Expect more, pay less"- needless to say, this Target pretty much has it backwards. This Target is conveniently located near our hotel, so it is one of the places we visit when we run out of something or just need to grab something and don't feel like going elsewhere. We have never had problems at this store, nor have we witnessed problems here. It is a clean store and organized like most Targets..which makes it easy to find stuff. The check out has always had enough personnel so we have never had to wait too long to get through the lines. I would give this a higher rating, but my girlfriend went in there to find something. She asked one of the associates if they had this item and they told her they didn't. I went in that same evening with her and found the item within moments of looking for it. Based on that, I would say the associates might need to be a little more familiar with their areas. read more

I'm not sure what LF is talking about But I've had the Pleasure of using Target pharmacy & CVS & CVS far surpasses the previous Target Pharmacy, not sure whats going on at all! GREAT STORE! I spoke to one of the Target managers by the name of Carly regarding the ongoing CVS Pharmacy nightmare service I've endured every single time. Although Target does not operate the CVS, I told her that the pharmacy customer service will no doubt hurt Target sales because people like me will not use CVS and for that reason, won't be spending money in Target like I always did when I had a pharmacy order to get. Carly was super sweet and helpful. This Target also has a Starbucks and their baristas are very nice and efficient! The Target staff is helpful and very informed!! read more

I'm from Chicago and we were at Galena for a weekend but our car starting acting a little funny so we had to bring it to the dealership and we went to Target while the car was being worked on. Everyone in this Target was so friendly, absolutely everyone said hello and asked if we needed assistance. Now this is what I love when I go into a store :) read more

I was pregnant and received a lot of Target gift cards from a recent baby shower. I turned them into the Target customer service desk to compile them to make 1 gift card so that I could order what I needed (that wasn't in the store) online. In the process, when I asked to confirm the total amount, the customer service person was dismissive and deliberately evasive. She didn't answer my question as if to say, "Duh! I told you the amount. I was in Target today and did have to wait for their tech Zack to come in to help and it was well worth waiting for. Everyone I talked to did not seem to know what I needed done. Zack was very smart and knew what I need and went ahead and did it and even asked me if I wanted my phone numbers from old phone put on new phone. Very helpful needs a raise you should be proud to have someone like Zack working for you. read more
