Very bad customer service. Was shopping there today. Table full of marked down shorts all the exact same style, brand and stacks of different colors. Two pair were missed being marked down. Manager argued that they mark down according to how many of each size they have of each style Not the style itself. All sizes except that one size was marked down of that particular color. That size, same short, different color marked down. Says tag is always right. i used to work retail and am a seasoned shopper. That's not how mark downs are done. However, on very next item, it rang up cheaper than marked. No excuses on that one. Terrible attitude. read more

It had what we needed. It was kinda dirty and the shelves were a little disorganized but they are also located in a heavy tourist location!

So here's the stupidity from the geniuses at stupid Target. (Tarz-ay my butt) My sweetheart goes online to order just one little item, a cat comb. Yes a comb to try to get rid of the fleas that our kitties picked up from our visiting grand-puppies weeks ago, the struggle continues. Anyway she orders it and get a notice that it's ready. We pull into the "drive up" spaces to receive their touted curbside service. But there's no instructions at the parking area, no number to call or text and the email has no help to make this drive up thing work. We flag down a man walking across the parking lot and ask him how this thing works. He says they should come out but we tell him that they don't know that we're here. He takes our name and date he'll notify customer service that we're waiting at the "drive up" parking space. Five minutes later a flustered young lady approaches asking who we were, what? We told her who we were and she looks on her handheld device and tells us that we had not selected "drive up" at time of order so we must come inside, what? We asked if she could possibly retrieve the order "a single pet comb" and her response was "we are busy", what? But wait it's not that easy. When my honey goes inside and waits in the customer service line to get "the comb" they told her that she could not have it without showing her the order on her phone and and ID, what? This requires her to return to the car to get the required information. Seriously? There's a lot here that burns my bagel but it all starts with Target's highly ambiguous "drive up" policy and execution. To be clear there NO instruction or info on their order website or in the order confirmation or order ready emails but there's nothing articulated in the Target support as to how you can utilize "drive up" at their stores. Additionally I have unfortunately become acutely aware of the growing lack, either by choice or worse, of thinking individuals in the service arena. It is an extension of the systemic shortage of basic common sense, but I digress. I will now step down from my soap box without bloviating on Covid or employment issues but I will not step away from leveling my criticism of this corporate failure to execute, what appears to be, a simple service as driving up and picking up an online order. Home Depot, Walmart, Lowe's, Kroger etc. have gotten it right, what's up Tarz-Jay. Bottom line: Just stupid!! read more

This is the closest Target to Gulf Shores. Because of its close proximity to the beach, it is a great place to buy things for your vacation. For example; did you bring your digital camera, but forget the charger? I did. I was able to pick up a reasonably priced digital camera at this Target. Did you buy too many groceries and want to bring some home? I did. Luckily for me I was able to get a reasonable priced rolling ice chest here. Targets are the same wherever you go. This location was no different. It was very clean and well kept. There is a large food/beverage section along the left wall. Prices are quite reasonable and their selection seems to focus on fancier items than a Wal Mart. I liked this Target and highly recommend you visit if you need anything while on vacation. read more

Bought 4 gift cards for our nieces and nephews. When they went to be redeemed by the children they were turned away. There was an error and they refused to redeem the money when we called. We were embarrassed. There was no value on them even though we had a receipt for the purchase. Bank records and receipts meant nothing. Buyer beware. Target stole our money. Update. Target acknowledges taking our money. They were scammed by a hacker but refuse to return our money or give credit for the purchase. This is their problem that they are passing on to us. I think we'll get a lawyer. read more

I did a pickup order and I was notified that 2 of my items were out of stock. We went into the store for a couple of additional items and found those 2 items easily on the shelf and there were MULTIPLE of each item. read more

On a recent vacation in Gulf Shores, AL we needed a few staple supplies and saw this conveniently located Target. The store and grounds were very clean. The parking lot was large. We quickly found what we needed and were on our way. No issues and we would certainly stop in again. read more

I have always liked Target as I worked for another company owned by them which was clothing, jewlery and both of them have great deals..This target has a starbucks in front and groceries that they have expanded a lot.. the only thing I dont like Is their app for getting money off ,like coupons, only works half the time which is frustrating..and tough even in this holiday season to find customer service help.. Today, Cynthia was by far the most impressive, competent, task oriented, urgent professional I have worked with. She uses her resources, revolves team members, and addressing exactly what I inquired about while in store. I am done! I have tried over and over to update my Target Redcard debit card with a new bank account. NOBODY at the 800 number or my store can help me. They keep saying "do it on line", but it doesn't work. This has been going on approximately a year! They won't even let me just cancel this one and open a new one because I have one! I really love my local target! All the workers are very friendly and helpful! Im only giving them 3 stars because I'm very upset that I can't tip our Starbucks workers! I get coffee from them at least 4 times a week and they work really hard to make my drink perfect everytime! Not being able to tip is an insult to them and all their hard work! I have never had any trouble at this location, or any location for that matter. Wonderful selections and quality of products. The only reason it is not 5 star is because I don't get a lot of employee customer interaction. Though they are nice at the check out i almost never speak to them otherwise even when passing by. This Target is conveniently located and is a lifesaver for folks visiting the beach. We stopped in to grab a bunch of stuff that various family members needed for our beach vacay and was able to find everything relatively easily. Those things that we didn't find immediately, we were able to find with the helpful and friendly assistance of the staff. Checkout was fast and friendly. There's a section specifically tailored for people visiting the beach. Also, there's a Starbucks inside. It's an odd thing, but in this area of the country, coffee shops seems to be nearly non-existent, so seeing a Starbucks here made the area seem, well, uh...more civilized. read more
