Came to the store for the sole purpose of purchasing a bike that was said to be in stock online the day before. I checked with customer service, where they confirmed 3 were in store, but none were on the rack. In fact there were only 7 bikes out of 25 racks & none of them priced. When I asked for help the guy didn't go to the back but got on the same comp. as customer service & said there were none & the system just hadn't updated. And when I said I would order it online he told me to make sure it was in stock!! Lol wow people get it together. Side note they're local sports apparel was a disaster. My local Target where I go for all the essentials and then some. While it is not a Super Target with a full blown market it does carry items such as milk, egg, bread, cheese and other snack type items. This location also has has a Pizza Hut, Pharmacy, Photo Center and Starbucks inside. On a recent trip to the Movies and Games section I realized they had redone the whole area to get rid of the annoying glass cases which prevented a customer from looking at the video game boxes, unless you called an employee to open the case for you. While you still have to call someone to get the game, you can now look at the back of the box to see other information that may be of some help in making a purchase decision. Great for just looking and browsing. Parking is in front of the store, or the back of the mall area, and can become very crowded during weekends and holidays. I would suggest parking further out so you can save those last few frayed nerves for the freeway ride home. read more

I prefer going to the SuperTarget on S.Main. This location is small, always packed, and doesn't have as much items. I only go if I HAVE to.

Went there yesterday for toys, their selection was good but shelves were messy, with outdated signs for sales. I saw one for $25 off toys purchase of $100 and fell for it, but by the time I was checking out, was told the offer expired. I had to go to the shelf and pull the sign off for them as they had no idea where their own sale signs were and then was told:"Sorry we don't honor it as it was expired" (by this Varghese person) Be ware next time you see a sale at the Meyerland Target, might be a trap read more

Great store, has a larger selection and great availability on items than the location in San Felipe by my house. The staff is very polite and courteous as well, all the times I've been the staff has been great help and very friendly. read more

This target is always so busy. The customer service is practically non-existent. Be prepared to wait in long lines once you checkout. Shelves are often empty, with no answers from the staff about when they might be stocked again. The staff doesn't give a damn about their job. read more

I just went to Target Meyerland to buy birthday napkins. They had none! Since the remodel of this store, it is the pits! Get some merchandise in your store! There is absolutely no excuse for this! Your store was much better before you tried to make it better. It is confusing and I also hate walking from one corner to the other and back again of your store to try to find one item, only to find out you don't even have it anyway. Because of the renovations the recent things we saw at the store a week before were all gone. Target is usually very enjoyable for my daughter but our recent trip just let her down. So I hope that they finish renovating soon so we can find everything. read more

I usually love shopping at target but this particular location is just... yuck. It was not very clean and had a strange odor when I first walked in. Everything is too close together and just looks like a big mess. Plus all of my sizes were gone! This location Is too cluttered for me. I wouldn't give them 5 stars but this is well beyond the quality of the nearby Walmart in Meyerpark. Clean store, helpful employees who actually know how to help and products in stock. This Target is often out-of-stock, does not stock, or has limited variety of items I regularly buy. Management has lots of opportunities to improve ordering and stocking of beauty supplies (makeup, moisturizers, hair brushes, hair clips), OTC meds (contact lens solutions, allergy meds), office supplies... It's also hard to find staff to help you in the aisles. Veggie section is also very limited. Overall, it's an okay source for the core basics. read more

I am not a big fan of this target, often times I will drive to another target just because I don't like this target. The parking always sucks. The people that go here and work here are not very friendly. But it is target so sometimes you just have o go to the one closest to your house. read more

I like the store but the amount of plastic bags they use in a day is unconscionable. What's worse is employees will put one item in a bag and move on to the next bag. I even tried to take the bags back after I unloaded into my car but the salesperson wouldn't take them back and put all 5 of them right in the trash. Come on Target...be a leader and reduce your carbon footprint. We all need to do what we can to help with our global plastic trash problem. read more

This target is OK. I really want to like it because it's convenient. Honestly though, it's a disorganized mess. Better than Walmart, but on the bottom scale of targets. I do not understand the checkout lines. First of all, the double checkout lines is the stupidest thing ever created. It's confusing, and designed to frustrate people. I know that this is actually a legacy from when this location was a Kmart, but since they widen the stands it's difficult to manage, and decipher where the lines for the second Are. For some reason, they always seem to have long lines too, and this time, they had pallets of stuff to load on the shelves dumped in the path to the registers. read more

I started shopping at the Meyerland Target this past June. I've noticed a steady decrease in customer service at the check out counters. There are long lines every day now. Business has increased for this particular store, but they have not increased staff at the check out. I will shop at another store. read more

I made a purchase on the online store where you can "pick up in store." The Young lady helping me was as sweet as could be. However, the only thing that threw me off was she told me I was only able to return the items 24 hours later if something was wrong with it (which there was a scratch). I said so I have to take these broken items and come back tomorrow? She said yes I'm sorry. I said okay and went on to my car to pack the large artwork. Once I get in my car I check my email and it shows me a scanner saying if I need to return the items to use that in store. So, why was I told to leave? Perhaps she didn't know? I didn't really mind because I had to go back the next day for some other items. But, it would be nice if Target could train their staff with the correct information. read more

So the Houston Far West location is the one closest to home and lately they don't have anything I need in stock . It has been random items like a CD, concealer and juice . I have visited this location at random times during the week and it just seems like they need to organize the store a little better . Clean and good quality products... prefer Target over Walmart

First, CVS pharmacy was under staff at the location. The pharmacist appeared nice but the more he messed up, it let me know he was new this whole script thing. He auto populated my old information without verifying the information on my driver's license. When submitted it showed I was wasn't covered. OF COURSE! Because you submitted my old information! Then I told him "that'd why I gave you my Id". Then he repeatedly kept calling me by my former name and I kept saying that was my old information. I said it 3 times!!! So he tried to edit it and I told him already submitted it so, now, you are going to have to call. At this point, I was agitated. I called express scripts and they told me he would have to call to fix it. I went back and told him what he would have to do and he got frustrated and told me to go another pharmacy, lol. I said "NO, you got 2 hours to fix it!". He calls one hour later and states, again, I wasn't covered. Then I told him you messed up because when I called, I was covered and it was an error on his your part. I will not use this CVS again until they hire an experienced pharmacist who knows what they're doing. read more

Got a crib from this location and when we got it home, it was totally destroyed. The paint was chipped away and the wood had cracks/indentions. It took forever to get customer service on the phone after we discovered the issue. read more

An average Target with everything you could need. The store is clean and easy to navigate. If you ask for something usually they will help you (one time I got stuck with a b**ch that would not do anything and was texting for 15 minutes). Good target in a bustling location. read more
