She introduced us to the furniture designers/creators and we got to see some live work in progress-they were also friendly and awesome! I was there 1.5 hr and no price so I was promised a call once they got the price and I was going to have someone pick it up for me. Waited 2 days and was told I would get a call back. No call, called back. Again no call back, then finally today I am told it was probably put back up and maybe the message about calling me was lost. Said I could come look for it again and they would price match, yeah and why did they not do this the first time. I told them the price range from the beginning, but refused to sell it. This was very important for my grandchildren's photoshoot. Now I am stuck trying to find matching outfits again at the last minute. This was very very inconsiderate service.

The staff there is very friendly and the store is so well stocked. The prices are very fair compared to other boutique style stores, but I'd say the Village Store has the biggest selection of home and gift items in the Lake area.
