Pretty Target. Clean. However, they never have lanes open, the lines stretch all the way back to the grocery area... and the people at the (two checkout registers) (especially the man Tracy) move at 1 mile per hour... it is insane. I waited in Tracy's line for almost 30 minutes, which burned my soul. I understand patience is a virtue, but having him slow down an entire checkout line all day... Is very stressful and frustrating to all guests who enter his line. I recommend a target that is better staffed, especially if you have to run in and grab something... This is not the "run in and grab something" type of store... So unless you're shopping for a big family and don't mind the wait, you should avoid shopping here. read more

I was buying a turkey that was on sale and it wasn't in the system so she came over to change the price because I had a picture of the sale sign. She said mumbling to herself the entire time that she might lose her job for that marking down a $15 turkey to $6 and then told me that, "oh well it doesn't matter because nobody cares about employees having jobs". I was overly nice the whole time and nothing I did warranted a comment like that. That's horrible customer service when I was not being rude at all I was simply waiting. read more

The store is fine. This review is about the skillet I bought. I bought a figmint 12" skillet with lid. What a piece of junk! There is nothing I can say that is positive. An okay location. Friendly staff, large Starbucks inside. This location seems to be cluttered and less organized than some of the other location, like no matter what time I visit there are boxes in the aisle, and other obstacles that make me feel kind of like a character in a video game. I love the target conveniences that are not exclusive to this location, and in general this store gets the job done :) read more

Now my opinion can be biased bc I am a true Target fan (lol) but they are hands down 5 stars. The pic I posted is when I took my 4 year old to spend her holiday cash and we picked out an owl that flys, jokes on me it doesn't just fly it sings, we have to burp it, feed it and love lol I know a lot of info. Anyways after having this owl for less than 24 hours the sound stopped working. I was upset and went to Target expecting to have to plead my case of needing to exchange it; and I didn't have to AT ALL! The lady simply said "I'm sorry that happened, are you getting the same thing or something else." I couldn't have been more happy! So I successfully traded our own for another noisy owl and picked up another toy. The Glendale Target (off Keystone, near Broad Ripple) is a bit tricky to find the right lane to get to the parking lot, because there are a ton of businesses in this area but their parking lots don't connect. It's super trendy on the outside and quite new on the inside as well. A fairly good size. Employees are good - I saw on the app something I wanted was in stock but it wasn't on the shelf. I have never really cared for this location. Traffic in and out is always bad. Parking configuration is bad. Now that they are building hundreds of condos in the old mall and across from the old mall I can only imagine traffic will just get much worse. Typically up front this store is a mess. They really need to get rid of the cheap junk area. As I was walking thru the store to the home and garden area, I passed empty abandoned shopping carts and empty shelves. They need more employees to stock shelves and to walk the store to straighten and do general cleaning. I think Target is trying to appear more upscale. I live just east of the Broad Ripple/Glendale area in the middle of a residential area that is sort of a transitional neighborhood. If you go 4-5 blocks south of me, you get a fairly rough area. If you go two blocks north, you get six-figure houses. If you go a few blocks north of that, you've generally got super nice houses. I'm in the middle of it all. Strangely enough, the closest business areas to me are either 56th & Emerson or Arlington. Fort Ben doesn't count since it's still mostly restaurants. While I used to use Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market at 56th & Emerson, it's pretty much become self-service and you're not going to stick me in a Wal-Mart AND make me serve myself. It's just not happening. Fortunately, heading over to Keystone allows me to either choose Meijer, Target, or head further north for a traditional Wal-Mart. Plus, there's both an Aldi and Kroger option. It has just occurred to me my review intro is longer than some actual reviews. So be it. With the pandemic still going, I've quickly learned that Meijer is hit-and-miss in terms of safety while Target is for the most part spot-on. While their shelving practices drive me bonkers, employees are consistently friendly and I can typically find what I need. This Target had started some renovation prior to the pandemic. This includes adding a Target Optical that I've already utilized to purchase new glasses. In case you're wondering, Luxottica is actually the optical provider and they have Dr. Abigail David here. This Target is likely my favorite of the northside locations. That might be because I have an ex-girlfriend who works at the Nora location, though. I admit it. I have unresolved issues. This location has a nice front row of accessible parking that is only occasionally utilized by jerks waiting on a loved one to come out "for just a minute." "Hey dude, it will also only take me a minute to slit your tires and "disable" your vehicle." Sorry, pet peeve of mine. They offer free pick-up. In case you didn't know, Target also owns the delivery service Shipt - which I use and love. I've yet to have a bad shopper with Shipt. They do have a handful of self check-out lines, but they also have pretty solid check-out services. They also have plastic dividers to protect shoppers and cashiers and they disinfect. Social distancing is pretty solid. Employees wear masks, though I've seen a couple who can't quite master the whole "mask over the nose" concept. They do have security. While I've certainly seen customers stretching the whole mask-wearing thing, most are fine and I haven't seen any bad scenes. They've made some decor changes recently that I like - for example, moving children/youth books to its own section at the end of the toys. The food section is fairly well stocked, but they seem to focus on bestsellers - for example, cookies? You really mostly have the popular brands here along with the Target brands. The store is brighter these days. The Chip and Joanna Gaines home items are here and they spotlight home goods quite nicely. They now use CVS as their pharmacy. They've had a Starbucks for a while. They got rid of their snack counter, though they do have a self-serve kiosk with fountain drinks as an option. If I need a full grocery run, I still tend to head to Meijer simply because Target does tend to have some limits. However, for the basics I can typically get what I need here at a comparable price. I get better service and a vastly better atmosphere. Kite Properties manages this area - obviously, it's kind of a weird area as Glendale Town Center has struggled for years. Now, there's an apartment community being built behind the former mall. The library is moving out of the town center next year and down the street. I'm anxious to see what all's going to happen in this area. But, I continue to appreciate this Target. While Kite security is close to worthless, I generally feel safe here and the employees are friendly and helpful. Just yesterday, an employee offered to help me to my car even though it was freakishly cold outside. My biggest pet peeve is simply the consistently inconsiderate stocking of shelves. While I understand, and appreciate, re-stocking of shelves at all hours, I'm amazed how often I can't access an aisle in a wheelchair because it's blocked. While some employees "get it" and move, an absurd number do not. It's a basic customer service and accessibility issue that drives me bonkers. Minor issues aside, the Glendale/Broad Ripple Target is easily my go-to option for shopping in this area and certainly during the pandemic. read more

Not sure why there is a Yelp for target, because hey, it's target but I'm trying to get back on Yelp elite so here goes. It's a big target with a grocery store in it but the produce isn't always great. They also have a pharmacy you can get your flu shots at etc. overall I recommend this target except I avoid it like the plague on weekends especially sat because it's a zoo. Often checking out with a human is faster than the huge line for self check out if you are willing to brave some human interaction. read more

Stopped in to see if they had the Tabitha Brown collection and they did have a few more items than the store close to me but most of what was left was smaller sizes anyway. Not sure if it's a staffing issue but this store had the same problem of the plus size area being messy with stuff thrown around. I know some of it is a result of shoppers leaving stuff after trying it on. read more

Enormous Target with tons of inventory and massive selection across grocery, clothing, home goods, and much more. Easily overwhelming but also enticing offering lots more than the typical sized spot, however lacking the variety of online shopping which seemed odd considering it's so much bigger and assumed would have more variety. Also prices are not quite the value of other large department stores but some of the brands make up for that like the selection of kombucha! My buddy and I went for clothing but noticed nothing was quite like the online options, more Kohls and Old Navy rather than the Banobos and Banana Republic styles Target has sometimes. Must assume it was because the holiday rush had picked over all the good stuff which was clear on the homegoods aisles, lots of things cleaned out. I still did great finding some new things to try in the grocery which looked very smart and fresh. Target also wins with the best self-checkout machines of all time, very fast scanning and gift card payment process. read more

The store itself seems a little run down as do surrounding stores in this strip mall. However, I've noticed a lot of updates within this Target, such as a new layout for furniture/Hearth & Hand. The employees are nice and they seem to be pretty efficient with checking out/customer service desk. However, when I strolled through the aisles yesterday, there's open merchandise all around the store. It seems the crowd that frequents this store is not the best. Often times when I see their weekly ad, they are out of stock of some products so I'm not sure if they're getting a lot stocked in the first place or if they sell out pretty quickly. read more

Dr. S here-Morning run to target Glendale. I originally went to Check Out Ln., #5 only to see that the conveyor belt was nasty. It had spilled sticky stuff, the entire length of the belt and cashier texting on her phone. So I kept going and went to a different lane. While at the other lane, I let number 5 know "your belt is Dirty that's why I did not check out with you". She looked up from her phone, nodded her head, smirked, and went back to texting. Needless to say there was an exchange between the two of us. It ended by the cashier coming from around her Lane over to me in my new lane and asked me " is there a problem?" as if she was coming over to fight me or something. The Manager came over and tried to make the situation better. The cashier in front of her-older lady with no lower teeth kinda chuckled along with the young girl -But the situation remained the same and that is the girl still had a nasty conveyor belt and felt justified interacting with me like that. I absolutely reacted back with "little girl stop talking to me". It was a definite Jerry Springer moment. Unfortunately, we have all come to accept bad customer service. For me, not today. I am a Target Fan! I was in the Glendale area and made it a point to stop in the Glendale store. If I have time, and there is a Target in the area, I like to stop in; in fact I'm often on the hunt for something I've seen in another store and now want another the same, or a different color or even a different size. The Target app is a must to optimize your dollar. Often times there will be Circle offers on the app that are not offered in the store. To maximize - scan the barcodes - save to list and show the the person ringing up your sale or monitoring the self check line and you will get the sale price. The day I stopped I did not find what I was looking for (a Levi collab sleepshirt) but I found a cool tie dye sweatshirt I had not seen at any of the only 3 Targets I visited recently. My favorite Target within my driving scope is Avon - it's very large, usually very neat, great tidy displays and very friendly associates. This is the target closest to my home so I might be a little biased, but I do think it's one of the nicer ones in the area. It's usually pretty well organized, and the workers are friendly. The conveniently located Starbucks is clean, though the drinks are somewhat hit or miss. I have noticed that the holiday section is usually smaller than at other stores, and I feel like the fresh produce is lacking in quality. Also, the little target cafe for food is not very good here, and I have bought expired items once or twice. Overall though this is a great store if you are shopping for clothes or home/office items. After taking on another department and many busy months at work, I've finally had the time to reconcile expenses and needed copies of a few missing receipts to submit to my accounting dept. I called Target Customer Service for it to learn that not only do they don't keep that information, but they have also no way of providing a receipt unless I used a Target card. I was told my only option was to go to the store with my credit card and have them look it up. So I drove to the store where my purchases were made, explained what I needed and was looked at like I was speaking a foreign language. The Customer Svc desk rep radioed someone in their AP, who requested the last 4 digits of my card, the date and amount of the two transactions (within the past 90 days) and attempted to look it up with no luck. I've never heard of a store that doesn't keep records of transactions and/or receipts, and in all my years with my company have never had anyone not be able to provide a receipt when requested. How absurd! No more shopping at Target stores for business transactions, and I'll think twice about shopping for myself as well. The fact that my expenses for June come in just under $20,000 proves that its their loss! Get with the program. read more

I go to this Target wayyy more than for my own good. My last visit was exceptionally great because I received great customer service when I needed to return an item I bought from another location. The associate gave me fast, friendly service. My complaint with this store is that it seems to need a bit of help keeping regular household items in stock. With the college crowd and the shopping center location, there are always tons of people in this store (unless you're making a late night run, which again, I do way more than I should). I love the clearance shelves even though it feels like you have to really search for markdown items. read more

This Glendale location on Keystone is an older store with not as much square footage as other stores. Therefore displays are not as nice and it can be hard to find the same items seen in those other stores. It can also be a little messy because racks are often overstuffed. Positive attributes include good clearance selection on a regular basis and less crowds to deal with. Registers are plentiful. How do I love thee, Target? Let me count the ways.... Grab a cart and start your shopping in the food court area, where you'll find an in-store Starbucks location. (Note: you can't redeem Sbux stars, but you can use the Sbux app to pay.) Sip your bev' as you stroll through their dollar section that always seems to be changing--and filled with seasonal goodies. The clothing section can be kind of hit or miss, but sometimes you find a great staple. The baby section has a nice selection of products and is set up pretty intuitively. Large toy and electronics sections. Seasonal in the back corner. Wrap around to the grocery, which seems somewhat limited on fresh products, but has most pantry items. Then around towards the registers as you wander past a huge health and beauty & department and in-store Pharmacy. Love that they have a family restroom with changing table. In store pickup feature is a great option on their website if you have more time to shop online than in store (or have concerns about packages going missing from your doorstep). I don't love that their prices online and in store are not always the same...but when I catch it, Customer Service is always happy to price adjust. Check out their app for in store coupons. I don't particularly know what a Target would have to do to achieve more than this but this Target is nicely standard. Things to know: - There is A LOT of parking since whatever was across the parking lot from them went out of business. - Always peruse the clothing clearance section - it's the largest one I've ever encountered at a Target. - The lines usually move pretty fast and when I've gone they have a good number of U-scans and in person cashiers available. - It's BUSY. Wow. Can't believe I'm reviewing a Target. But just had the most dismal experience in the -u check it- at the Glendale Target in Indpls. There was a dog food price issue so I summoned the attendant lady. She slowly approached me. With lumbering lack of urgency. Her name was Traci. I had been sure she would arrive with a smile and hello and how may I help, please? Nope. She said nothing. Sullen. Just looked at me like she was asking: What? Told her about the price I was requesting that was clearly stated on the shelf... She pulled out her phone and started viewing Target's ad. Still without a word? Then walked away? Without a word. And was gone forever?!? My spouse had gone to the car and I was getting far older... She finally returned-and punched in the two dollar cheaper price I'd requested. And walked away. Again. Without a word. So I hailed her and asked hey? She turned around. I said: No apology for my wait and your distrust? And a smile would be nice?! She said: You got the price that you wanted. What? lol I asked for her name, because I didn't know it at that point. She pointed to her name tag. I said: I can read. And you will be hearing from me. She said: That's fine sir. So here you go, Graci. You heard from me. You should not be working in a job that involves customer service. As an aside-I will say that it hurts to give this Target one star. That was for Graci. My expectations were very low for this Target because the shopping center around it is kind of run-down and old. But maybe it pays to keep your expectations low, because this Target is AMAZING. I was so surprised. I think this will become my go-to Target from now on. First of all, this has the best home section that I've seen anywhere in the Indianapolis area. If you are looking for home goods, you need to come to this Target because they have a great selection. They also have a little area in the middle of the home area where the furniture is set up like a room, so you can picture what your Target purchases would look like all set up nice and neat. Ahhh, it's so nice. Like almost every Target I've ever visited, this Target is immaculate, and all of the aisles are neat and orderly. If I'm already in the area and need Target for something, I will stop here. However, it is not one of my favorite locations. Considering the traffic at this location, I'm wondering if it is the favorite of a lot of other people. The parking is a cluster. People are practically at war over spaces, and it just doesn't feel like there's enough room to even maneuver down the lanes. Once I finally get in the store, it feels as though the aisles are the same way. They feel narrow, and there always seem to be a lot of people-too many to fit in the same aisle. I have also often found this location to either be out of the items I want, or they don't even carry an item that I've found at other locations. This Target is a-okay. Sometimes, it looks really picked over in certain sections. But, I like that the store is conveniently located in the Keystone/Broad Ripple area and is relatively clean (or, as clean as a Target can be). It gets busy, so be prepared to wait in line, even if you're doing self-checkout. What makes this a four-star review for me is the experience I had with a cashier, Ishmael. This is the young man who went viral earlier this year for helping an old woman count her change, and the mom behind her in line posted about it on Facebook. Ishmael was my cashier this trip, and now I get why the mom called out his kindness. My friend had a 10% off coupon that wouldn't scan instantly. He tried every method he could think of, manually typing in the long code multiple times and it still wouldn't work. Instead of giving up, he called over another cashier just so my friend could use her 10% off. Never once did he seem flustered or annoyed, despite there being a line four people deep. I loved this store especially during covid, it is typically extremely well stocked. I love the fact that it is a small Target but 9/10 times I can find what I need here. The only thing that I prefer is that the staff was a little friendlier. I have been several times and each time there is someone yelling at another person, so although I love the store that would be my only complaint and it is small. I have the longest legs and can never find jeans that are long enough. I am 5"9" and have the legs of a giraffe. I went into Target to get a tote and didn't find anything. I think their bags are a little large for my taste and a wee bit pricey but good quality none the less. As I wondered out of the bag section, I decided to go to the clothing section and man was I pleased! Not only did I find pants but some classy shirts as well. As I was shopping, I noticed a sign that said, "spend $75 you get $15 off!" So I did just that. I got $15 off of my purchase for $75 worth of clothes. Another plus was that the store was pretty empty (around 10am) except for all the moms and babies :) I also noticed they had a fitting room for families which is fab! I usually have my little one with me in her stroller so this is a huge benefit. As I checked out, the girl at the register offered me the Target debit card for 5% off of every purchase. She told me she used it and that she didn't know it was free at first but how it has benefited her. That sold me! Personal experience! Score. read more

Target is target! This one has a grocery section with a surprisingly good $5 bottle of "house" target wine...always a good last minute throw in cart unexpected purchase. Save 5 cents per bag if you bring your own, which is an incentive to save the world and a nickel. This target always has a rotating clearance section, which makes filling up a cart all the more tempting. Clean, employees are kind but nothing above and beyond, there's a little food court, self check out, and basically everything else one would expect in the store. read more
