Tar-jay!! We love you. This isn't my favorite target but easiest to get to from my house. It's well kept overall the parking lot is a mess of pot holes but that's the reality around Kansas City anymore. The service is really good as with most Targets. People are happy to help and easy to find. The selections are ok, not as well stocked as the Shawnee store but usually have what's needed. Target has done a good job keeping prices low, many items are priced close to Walmart prices without any of the Walmart hassle and stress. It's close to the Legends shopping center and an Aldi. Excellent for Christmas shopping BTW. read more

Long, long lines at checkouts. Women's bathroom: no soap in dispensers; two toilets not in service; spills on floor. Family bathroom: spills on floor; no soap in dispenser; filthy area. Very few staff in store. Merchandise strewn in aisles. Last time in this store. You remodeled it but forgot to staff it. read more

Don't shop at the store, unless you absolutely have to!!! Waited 30 minutes for a pick up order. They misplaced the order. I had to go inside and try to locate the order. Employees could've cared less including the manager. Most definitely one of the worst stores to shop. read more

This Target was clean (from what I saw) and not too busy. It was the same layout as other Target locations. The parking lot was large and we were here to buy some food for our team's food day the next day. I actually found the Oreo Fireworks flavor here which I wouldn't have thought seeing how that had been out in the past. Anyways, we found what we were looking for here and were on our way. read more

Used to LOVE Target! I bought 9 Visa gift cards there for an event, one had an issue, the manager said they couldn't help me, they were non-refundable, non-exchangeable, they couldn't call someone to try to resolve and did not give me a number to call. They said I needed to do it, even though I had tried only to be unsuccessful because of the issue with the gift card. They said they just sell them....period! Buyer beware there! I called and called, only to get no answers, transferred to others, finally found Target gift card dept, which I had to be transferred to Target Visa gift card dept and they resolved and are mailing me a new card. Why didn't the manager say we have a dept that handles gift cards, here's the number to call? Workers at this Target just don't want to do any work, why are you there? read more

Order online for pickup and this store says they don't have item.....really bad part, refund was not given. Was email a Target gift card but would not credit my bank.Whattttt? Who does business like this? Target company wide "customer service" had same answer. So, for those purchasing online for pickup at store, be advised that $1000 spent for item that is not really available for pickup, you will NOT receive a refund, just a store credit. Claim filed against Target should eventually resolve this issue I hope. Will not do any future business with this or any Target store! read more

This is the worse target I've ever been too! Service is always horrible, and no sense of urgency whatsoever!

This location is dumbed down a little as far as the clothing selection goes, but it is Target...so it is still great. Although not a super Target, they do have a food section. I assume they put this in due to the lack of grocery stores in the area and that was smart thinking! It always seems as though their Starbucks/consession area is closed. This location is getting 5 stars from me because they have great service! It's so easy right now to not care about your job and I went the day of a horrible snow storm so I didn't expect the employees to be in that great of a mood. On top of all that I had returns, but the lady at customer service was peppy, friendly, and took care of me with no hassle at all! It was honestly a great experience. The store over all was pretty ran through but I blame that on the holidays, and the bad storm people were probably stocking up in preparation... we will see when I go back. read more

Asked an employee to get me help in electronics and he dropped what he was doing and helped me himself. He was very nice and very prompt. Another employee helped me bring in the scooter I was using back into the store from my car. These employees are wonderful and I wish more stores had employees like these. Target should give them a raise. read more

Is it possible Target stocks stores in different locales differently? Only one time at this KC, KS location on the far West end of town and I found some items I needed immediately that I somehow thought were not stocked at my local Target. Hmmm it's in the location. I went to the service counter for faster check out and the clerk was so genuine and friendly as in not feigned I felt like asking her to dinner but quickly came to my senses. I have noticed Target's may be laid out alike but the actual shelf products can vary according to location. Interesting. read more

Not a very nice store... dirty floors, poorly stocked, rude staff. Management doesn't seem to care... the three visits I've made to this location have always ended in me being just frustrated. Not recommended. read more

Check "best by" and expiration dates! I purchased baby food here that was 6 months past the best by date. I returned the product but the cashier was indifferent when I pointed out the date. The following week, the same expired product was on the shelf. I contacted Target's corporate office and yet another week later, the expired food is still on the shelf. I understand that expired food might not be dangerous. However when it comes to baby food, can you be too safe? Little ones can have sensitive bellies and undeveloped immune systems. I just can't believe Target would be so careless. read more

This is a very basic Target store. It's a bit lackluster as far as the clothing department goes. I wish it was a Super Target, but alas, it is not. It's essentially just like every other Target out there. read more

This is the absolute worst Target I've ever been to in my life even considering how downhill they've all went. Came in on a Friday night at 8pm to wait in line for 20 mins at returns while some lady wouldn't let up about baby registry returns and we asked multiple people to help and were told only that one person in the whole store knew how to do a return. Meanwhile every other guest is required to self checkout because apparently customer service is a thing of the past. As the lines continued to grow at least 5 workers passed by and just went on their way to stand in a different corner being useless. Not sure why target employs people who aren't capable of working a simple register. Finally left as I wasn't about to give a single dime to that store after the experience we had. Most embarrassing display of "customer service" I've ever experienced. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

Tried to purchase a trash can & what a mess! I ordered online thinking I could drive up & get. I did pick up not drive up (my bad). Even though it was paid for they could not bring out. (I waited for associate to come back out for over 20 minutes-she never came back) I came home & called to explain. They said they could not chg a pickup to a drive up. I would have to cancel order. I did for a refund. Oh but no refund they sent a Target giftcard. I was left hanging & hung up on in this process also. This was the worst online order I have ever had. I could not believe it. I will not be back. Walmart is much more user friendly experience. read more

Target is one of my ultimate favorite stores. The only reason this store doesn't get a five is because it is not a super target. They have great deals and a decent selection of frozen foods. Plus they have started carrying pet meds too. read more

Target + Starbucks= Marketing GENIUS. This is your average Target: it's clean, well kept, fairly new, and BONUS= It has a STARBUCKS. And this is the ONLY Starbucks in this entire region. The nearest one that I know of is at the airport or on Barry Road or in the Tiffany Springs Target. Parking here is usually pretty decent. I love that most Targets are open longer hours than ever before. VERY convenient. read more

Store is ok, its a Target and it is in KCK. (We have lived in KCK for over 60 years try to support our local businesses) Haven't shopped there a lot, most of our shopping is done across the street at Sams Club and Walmart. Issue my wife had today when she stopped and did some shopping was she found some clothes that were on sale that she liked tried to pay with a check ($142) and our check was declined. She was told she would have to call 800 # and use another form of payment. She could of used a credit card if she really wanted the merchandise, but she said that it was embarrassing to have the front end manager refuse to accept our check. I was a little concerned when she got home and told me what happened, we have had our checking account opened for over 40 years (1976) and have never had any returned checks. I did call the 800# to see why check was declined, was told because of the amount and we haven't written enough checks with Target that we would have to use another form of payment. I really never considered $142 a lot of money, always felt pretty good if we could get out of the store for under $200. LOL Wife says she will never go back to Target, guess we will have to continue to spend our money somewhere else. Targets loss! read more

Have been to this store a handful of times. The customer service staff is always friendly. However, on my most recent visit, I was disappointed by the amount of garbage in the parking lot. Another positive about this Target (and probably all Targets) is that they will price match Walmart's online pricing (which Walmart will not even do). They also price match their own online pricing. read more
