It was Target that made it happen! What's my secret ingredient! It's a little sparkling joy, rainbow fun, and the perfect blend of Target sweet ! Wow! These stores are so good and promising for they "mostly," are all the same. Sometimes when you are not at your local store it makes it better. This Target is no different . They are unimaginable uniformed. It's great in the sense it's all where you need it. The store is well organized and the shelves are well stocked and maintained too. Negative stars!! Hate this location so much!! Purchased 7 packs Chomps Beef Sticks in the Target App to pick at Drive Up spot. 5 of the packs were expired, see photos. I call customers service for a return label to send back the items for replacements but they told me I had to return to the store cause they can't ship the items by the time I needed them. So I show up at Target East and I explained to them that I don't want a refund but just do an even exchange so it won't mess with my progress of earning my circle reward. I already had 2 of 3 $120 qualify purchases toward the rewards. Long story short, 85% of all the beef sticks on the shelfs were expired some date back to 12/2025. So gross!! Wow that is so wrong and disgusting. People can get really sick eating expired beef. So I couldn't get all exact flavors to exchange, but ok no problem I can just get a different flavor. But NO, your employees, Flor and Brandon had to give me a hard time saying can't do an even exchange although it was their wrong doing selling expired food. What made the process even worst was they blame me for their wrong doing processing the transactions using the wrong receipts. That really messed me up because I had been making my purchases toward earning the Circle Rewards. As a result of the way they processed the transactions, I lost both my qualifying purchases toward the rewards. Not only they didn't apologize but they blame me for showing the wrong. Hell NO!! I showed Flor which receipts to process as I had another purchase of the same items that was delivered to a different location. I did not get a sincere apology, Flor had the nerve to raised her voice & speak to me almost like she was yelling at me "Can I talk! You are not letting me take! You are not listening!" Wow just unbelievable and disrespectful. Wasted one hour of time going back & forth explaining myself over and over, then finally we agreed to just process the returns / exchange their way and lost all my progress toward my Circle Rewards. At the end she issued a $20 gift cards for the inconvenience because I insisted to be compensated for my wasted time and trouble. They think 1 hour of my time is only worth $20!?!? I make more than double that in one hour at work. And at the end of this whole ordeal, she gave me back all the expired items just in a different shopping bag and I didn't know until I got home and had to drive back to the damn store AGAIN!!! I asked for Brandon, so I don't have to explain the situation again to another employee. Brandon DID NOT even apologize. In the end I wasted almost 2 hours and not a sincere apology. So beware everyone, don't go to Target East on Nellis unless you want to be yelled at and treated like you are a nobody and pay for expired food and get sick eating them. read more

This target is not that great. The grocery section don't have much of a selection, like other targets, I've been to. Everything else here is pretty much locked up so you need somebody to get it for you. The only thing I come here for mainly is to use the restroom and buy a pack of gun. Other than that there's not too much here for me. read more

The Regional Manager Should Be Fired. From the moment you pull up to the parking lot, you're greeted with multiple sketchy men with rolls of paper towels. Shout-out to Eliecia (spell check) who I later found out during check out was the manager at this location. I was looking for a particular brand of Prenatal vitamins. According to google this was the closet store to my house that had the brand that I was looking for but when I got there unfortunately they did not have any in stock. I was in the isle on the help phone when she so happened to be walking past. Long story short, she helped me for a good 10 minutes with no rush to locate a brand that was similar if not worked best for me. She was very polite and very helpful. Review of Targets Interview process & store shopping experience I always knew this place had a bad rap. But now I can clarify why that is. Went into an interview and did everything to perfection. You know the standard, shave, comb hair, shine shoes, tie, cut nails, just the normal stuff to get your appearance looking nice. Experience in retail I have over 10 years, and very good references too. All will tell you I was never late and always on time. Heck I'd show up an hour early just to relax and not have to fear of any hazards on the road, or in case im totally tired -have time to break. I even had interview questions with answers ready to go. Any curve balls I'd just improvise by coming up with answers based on experience and what I got for questions. Go inn 20 minutes early and wait, then I get seen and things went great, at least I thought they did. I timed myself from the time I went in and out. Lasted 30 minutes. Went in at 10:00 am got out at 10:30 am. I get home in 3 minutes. Then I see that dreaded rejection e-mail. Guess what time it had? 10:32 am. Not even out of the parking lot and already they mark you off. You can't even wait a few hours to send it? Yeah, lots of people like to know right away so they can move on and focus on their job search. So now I realize that some people working there that are older either have been working with that company for a long time, have experience in retail, or only have a high school diploma. As far as young people go, it seems they want young people to just be easier to handle. Not some guy (me) that has a Bachelors in management and does not mind starting from the bottom to work himself up to the top. Guess I'm broken goods then huh? Well, hope ya'll take my advice and go somewhere else to supplement your income or start from the bottom. Now for the store itself. The associates just know the bare minimum of where products are. They are not knowledgeable enough to know how to combine goods or answer more questions about products. I mean yeah it's a store that carries things that basically, you as a customer, have a general idea about but... when it comes to those customers that are in a hurry or God forbid an emergency, you really need people out there and visible on the sales floor. In order to have a good shopping experience here, you really have to know how this place operates and expect for products to be out of stock, missing labels, or moved somewhere else. Basically, don't come here when you're in a hurry because the cashiers always seem brand new, or if you're trying to find a product that you desperately need. Heard rumors of higher management engaging in workplace romance with YOUNGER female team members harassing them and leading to uncomfortable team members. Managers play favorites. Management and leadership overall is trash. However, regular team members are friendly, hard-working and helpful. I never thought I'd be doing a review on Target. I am a die hard Target fan and this place will be one of my go to stores for all my needs. But today's experience was beyond unacceptable. I needed assistance in the craft aisle and saw one of the staffs assisting someone else. After he was done, I called him over and he decided to ignore me although we made eye contact and speed walk in the other direction. So I looked around and saw him see me again... guess what he did? Turned around and speed walks away again. This was so frustrating and finding staff members around the store is so hard! I finally left without spending a dime. I never complain about target, but this location is horrible. Every Walmart I been to has had better service than this place. I been here a couple of times and every single time I come here I regret it. This store never has anything in stock and some of the employees are the worst people I've ever encountered. On my last visit I had to ask an employee to get an item for me behind the glass doors and I had to say "excuse me" to her 3 times before she decided to stop ignoring me. 4 attempts trying to reach the customer service line, if y'all can't assist customers within that 30 minute span I had in all 4 calls please don't have a phone line for customers if y'all ain't going to commit. I love target but this location has been playing with those feelings. Silly issues like getting charged $3 for a underwear I found on sale for $1.80 just because the target associate didn't bother to check and assumed all my clearance things were all $3. I totally blanked and assumed he knew what he was doing coming to check after on my receipt that I was overcharged. My mistake too but very incompetent behavior from the Asian guy assuming all my purchases were "clearance". When I came back to get my $1.20 the associate was nice and mentioned that it shouldn't have happened. Also I bought the newest Mario and Luigi game for my DS and silly how it was wrapped and all but it was missing it's mission booklet from inside. That was a $60 game with no mission booklet, idk about y'all but I want my moneys worth and my booklet. I learn from the booklet!!! I heard a supervisor (name tag read Rochelle) talk terribly down to an employee. That made me cringe. I didn't want to even ask either of them where something was that I was looking for. There were three employees talking in an aisle not willing to help anyone. I found what I was looking for on my own and headed for the checkout lanes. The Rochelle woman was there talking badly to another employee in front of everyone there. I will not be going back to this store ever even though it is near my place. I don't care for Walmart but I'll go there before I come back here. I will drive to a nicer target if need be. This one is done!! Besides the aisles were a mess and dirty too. On 11/23/18 I used a Target coupon at this store that said I would get a $5 gift card if I spent $25 on qualifying pet merchandise. I loaded up and made sure everything qualified. At the register the clerk was confused, called over a manager who was also confused. After an embarrassing line had formed I was given the gift card, paid and left. It was only after I got home I realized I had been charged for the gift card! I went back to their customer service department and was told they no longer give out gift cards and discount purchased items instead. I would be credited $5 if I gave her the card, which I did. My thinking is, if THEIR COUPON says a gift card will be issued it should be issued. If policy has changed customers should be told at the register. And if the clerk and manager KNEW I expected a "free" gift card they should have told me they were charging me for it, not hope I would never look at the receipt! Deceitful practices all the way around. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because at least you can talk to customer service here, unlike the nearby Walmart where the wait for customer service is usually an hour. Will not be going back to this target unless absolutely necessary. I have lived and grown up in the east side my entire life but it seems like it gets ghetto by the min. Mostly everything in the self care section is now locked up and you have to ask for assistance to get a simple item like a face wash! It is ridiculous what they are being lead to. I don't think this will work out though because I'm sure like myself most people like to look and grab item to determine if they will purchase or not and now you can't. I don't have the time to stand there and wait for a store associate to get every single item I need. I went to check out the guy rang my toy up the amount he said didn't sound correct because on the target app it was ringing up $14.99 & I asked oh aren't the toys 25% off Today & he said yeah it took it off & I said no on the app it's saying $14.99 & he's like it's $22.99 & I said I have the app he rudely handed me my bag & said in a rude manner "you can go to guest services" it's like I get it you don't want to deal with me but be a little nicer he could have said "oh I apologize ma'am if you take the item to guest services they can price match for you" don't be rude. So Target is usually my happy place, but this particular location seems a little one the blah side. I only go to this store when I am visiting my mom, who lives by this store. It is the nicest store in the area compared to the nearby Walmart and KMart that are in the area, but that really isn't saying much. This definitely isn't the nicest Target I have been to, but they still have all of the departments you are used to having. Everything seems to be well stocked and organized, but it just doesn't have the same pizzaz as the Target up in Summerlin that I am used too. You also notice the difference in the staff. No one is rude, but no one is especially friendly either. It seems like everyone is just there to get paid. Come on people, just give us a smile every now and then, please?
