I've shopped here a handful of times before when it's closer than the Highway 7 location (preferred). It's more compact, and the parking lot can be a bit wild during peak times. It does have a Starbucks inside and does not have the Ulta section some other superTargets have. I went a few days before Christmas Eve, and stock was quite low in multiple sections: no Hawaiian rolls, very picked over board games, and picked over books. Given the time of the year and holiday shopping season, that is understandable. But many of the aisles were in disarray, which was a bit unsightly. I'm sure they are having a hard time with seasonal staffing, but it was quite noticeable. I attempted to do grocery shopping here and regretted it instantly: they didn't have Hawaiian rolls, and so much of their stock was picked over, I ended up having to go next door to Lunds to do the rest. This Target will be an if-I-have-to location for me, unfortunately. read more

This store needs an overhaul and full gut job. It's beyond neglected compared to all other Targets in the area. It's so tired, dark and old it almost feels dirty. I don't know why but there's a spoiled milk smell that comes from the area around the laundry detergent. It also has terrible inventory management. Not just empty shelved but a lack of selection. Entire shelves can be dedicated to one brand with 6 flavors or variations of the same thing. (I'm sure this is also a function of oligopoly at play.) Perhaps the store intends to close and they just don't want to invest in the location anymore, which would make sense or they feel they don't need to since it's a convenience play for the area and we'll just accept it. I've been coming here for 20 years but it's such a poor experience on all fronts I can't do it anymore and I've shifted my spend elsewhere in the neighborhood. read more

I often looked at this Target as the little sibling to the very large Southdale Edina location. However, after going there looking for things and not finding what I needed, probably bc everyone else had the same idea, I went to the SLP location and found what I needed. This was particularly true with back-to-school clothes shopping a couple of months ago. Edina seemed picked over a bit and SLP had what we needed. Also, the SLP store is smaller and easier to navigate if you want to quickly get something and be on your way. After drifting towards the shiny ball that is the Edina store (which I do love for it's massive offering), I have come back to making the SLP location my default location. read more

Honestly, one of my least favorite Targets because 8 times out of 10, something I'm looking for is out of stock or placed in the most random spot. I understand that this is not a Super Target, but even mundane items (like brooms) are not stocked and shelves are typically sparse. Staff is friendly for the most part and are helpful. read more

This is a typical Target: you can find most (but not all) of what you need and a whole lot of things that you didn't realize you want, all at good prices. If you pay attention to the sales, you can often get really excellent prices on basic groceries, household necessities, and even things that are usually pricey. (Quest cookies are on sale: a 4-pack is under $7 right now; the best price I've seen outside of "it's expired" clearance sales.) The extra holiday help right now is a mixed bag: you're more likely to find an aisle blocked by someone restocking shelves, but you're less likely to get stuck in line at check-out. If you need some last-minute gifts, this is a good place to go: right now, there are some excellent buys on treats for bathing beauties, and you can find some positively awesome buys on chocolate for those people whom you forgot about. Pro tip: they often have great buys on soda and flavored seltzer (like bubly and St. Croix), so stop here first if you need to stock up! read more

Visited this Target to grab a few items I needed. I enjoy this location due to the relatively low attendance of people. This isn't a Super Target, so there is only a minimal grocery section but if you need something, they'll most likely have it. My only complaint is how expensive most of the produce is. Because, like I said, it isn't a Super Target so many of the things here are priced much higher than at a regular grocery shop. But, it's convenient. Everyone was wearing masks and they have someone standing by the doors to make sure all customers have masks as well. They also sanitize the carts and registers after use. read more

Solid location. Compact location for sure. Parking lot can be a bit of a jam. Some could say its confusing to get to this location but its prime due to the community and it being right off the highway. This location can be jam packed inside due to the dense community it serves and how compact it is. You get everything you need from this location as if it were a huge location and that's what makes it special. Tesla charging stations are available in the parking lot, they're usually pretty vacant. This is the Target that's the closest to my house, but also the smallest and least likely to have what I need. So this is only milk, bread, apples type of place, at least as far as I'm concerned. Or maybe we need a quick birthday gift so we're buying a gift card. You just aren't gonna expect them to have everything you need. I also worked at this Target seasonally, so I've helped a lot of customers and I know they can get frustrated because it is limited selection In every department. For example, I just went here to buy a Nerf gun for my nephew for Christmas and I was a little sad at the small selection, but not surprised, and it still got the job done! read more

It's a suburban Target, so you know the audience. I only hit this location when I happen to remember it's there when speeding down Highway 100. Son needed a few things and I decided to grab some household stuff while taking care of his needs. I've never needed or sought help here, so I can't speak to the demeanor of the staff. There is one thing that I ABSOLUTELY HATE ABOUT TARGET. Their mobility carts suck because they are exclusively for right-handed people. And the beep when backing up us entirely too loud. The ENTIRE store knows when a cart user is changing direction. I end up hitting the reverse a lot because I'm left handed. Hy-Vee has ambidextrous carts and it makes a big difference. So, the rating is more for this than the actual store. This location is ok. I'm looking forward to when I don't have to use the mobility cart so that I don't have to swear so much, or embarrass my son, when in the store. read more

This Target is closest to my apartment and usually my go-to for groceries and household items. I do notice that they are out of things sometimes (usually in dairy or produce) but it's no more frequent than any other store. Usually I see that they are out on Sunday nights which, having worked the floor at Target in the past personally, is completely understandable. I always like to stop by the clothing on my way through and check out the sale rack. The self checkouts are great, but the cashiers I've come to recognize are friendly too. read more

I was feeling under the weather so I ordered a few things for drive up pick up. Included in my order were a bag of tangerines and when I got home I noticed that 3 had mold on the outside of them. If you're a person of color, be wary of the RACIST staff/manager there. I checked out with an old person in an orange toupee. She was very ignorant towards me. All I said was "hello" and she rolled her eyes then turned to a coworker to make small talk, but she greeted the other customers(white American?) respectfully. I just wanted to hurry up and pay so I can leave. After she scanned my things she asked if I had any coupons. I responded "no," so all I have to do is pay now. She then took up more of my time by listing out what each item cost one by one. Overall, most of the staff there needs to act their wage and stop the racism disease they are spreading. read more

This is mostly about the pharmacy. The techs are nice, I think heir biggest problem is that the tiny pharmacy cannot handle the amount of business they receive. It's definitely a problem, for example, they almost never have my prescription ready when I arrive. It doesn't matter whether I head there right after my provider sends it in, or, like today, she called it in on Wednesday and it still was not ready three days later. I think because of the volume vs space issue, they do not fill a lot of the scripts until the customer arrives. That is a poor business model and the only way they can change it is if they increase the pharmacy size and hire additional staff. I'm changing pharmacies because I'm moving, however I would change it anyway. Another thing about this store is that they either don't have or are out of a lot of items. Seriously they are out of milk a lot of the time. I'm sure this is mostly due to lack of space as well. Sorry guys! Staff is nice and it's super convenient. I hate going to the target in the hole off of 7 and 169 because it's hard to get to. I can stop at this target and take half the time. Good luck and maybe you can find a way to either increase the size of the store or move it. read more

For a target I give this location 2 stars. They are ALWAYS out of anything you need. Which, I understand once in a while this happening, of course it's going to. But... literally, I cannot grocery shop here when I have a list. I've had conversations where other people have been openly frustrated to me about how they never have anything they need. I didn't start talking to them about it, they brought it up. At least I'm not the only one, that's for sure! All in All, I am a loyal target customer for life. But I'm really hoping this target can pick it up a bit. read more

My issue is with the Starbucks, the Target itself great store! The Starbucks in this location is not one I recommend it may be an easy stop but garuantee they will not get your order right, they will not read back your order. Once your order is placed in front of you and you hear it is not correct and you ask if it was made with the correct items they will lie to you and say it was. For some with a milk allergy this is an issue. It doesn't matter if you make this clear to them either. I have given them the benefit of the doubt and tried them on a few different occasions when I notice a different barista but for over $4 for a Grande I'm done! I kind of like this Target store. It's small and quaint. A disclaimer, I work for Target and I have helped unload this truck at 4 AM, and the team is really efficient. We had the floor full by 8 AM. It was kind of cool. My wife and I were here to replace a Soda Stream canister of CO2, which they had. SCORE!. I love that they replace these canisters now. Great stuff! Save yourself and drive to the Super Target a mile away off of HWY 7. I always tell myself I won't go back to this location, but it's just a block away from my apartment.. if you're looking for groceries items, specifically produce, the store will most likely be out of it. I wish I would have thought to take photos but the shelves were completely bare or looked like a tornado had run through them. I was amazed how a store could be so disorganized! Even the coffee creamer on the shelves all had indents in them like they got smashed while being shipped there. read more

Eh.... I thought that I knew the floorplans to all the Targets until this location. No really... it's a stumper! They have everything laid out bass akkwards. It's almost as though everything is heavily weighted on the left hand side. The parking.... the way you have to enter on the far left and do the clockwise parade around the store... for me, it's just awkward. The other thing -- i just can't seem to find anything in this location. Uggh! It's all topsy-turvy compared to other locations. I tried to find something as simple as hand soap the other day. This is a review of Target's customer service and its manager. I called with a simple question about whether the store carried a certain grocery product. My call was answered by a very cheerful associate who was delighted to help and then put me on hold for 9 minutes when I was then disconnected. I called back, talked to another happy associate, asked for a manager, and was put on hold for another 10 minutes. When the manager eventually connected with me she offered various apologies for the wait times, began to help with my original question, and then I was disconnected again. I love this target. It is smaller than other targets in the area and normally not as busy. The staff that we have encountered here are nice and the transactions go through smoothly. For me it is a welcome change than the huge super targets you find at Knolwood. read more

Some of the refrigerators smell like rotten milk and I've brought home expired food, produce and things like broth already opened and tampered with. I love Target! This Target has a friendly staff and a nice selection for its size. However, they're always out of things! Today I went there solely to buy a specific pair of lashes and bamboo skewers, but they were out of both of those items. They were out of the lashes last week too. And a few weeks ago I came here specifically for their organic chicken broth, to which they were also out of. The worst part is they don't carry paper bags! Plastic bags aren't environmentally friendly Target, you and I both know this!! The other day I care in with my boyfriend and stopped in the women's section to look at the 20 years of fashion line; there was an older female employee and a younger male employee in there looking through the clothes (the lady was working the guy wasn't) I was trying to look at the small section. The male employee was looking as well which I wouldn't have even cared but he was being super rude and gave me the dirtiest look! This is actually a review for Target Mobile. My wife and I have now spent a total or 3 hours trying to simply upgrade her phone on the IPhone forever plan. The rep signed her up for a different plan that she didn't ask for then charged her tax and took her off the lease and into an installment plan... when trying to get it fix we have gotten nothing but terrible attitudes and Chase in mobile kept repeating what equates to essentially nonsense and started slamming doors, huffing and puffing then when we asked for a manager. He walked away yelling while he was and then we waited for 25 minutes and he never came back. Stay away from this target mobile they are nothing, but a headache Update: Jeremy the general manager has been helping us and is very courteous. Still a frustrating experience, but glad to have him helping us through it now. read more

Positives -the staff (older ones anyway -young ones not so much) are sweet, friendly and helpful. They also have a very well stocked children's toys area, much more variety than in other Target locations. I usually shop in the mornings there, so most things are well stocked and there are no empty shelves. Negatives - I usually drop off my film to get developed at the photo center. I don't expect much from a Target photo center, but I do expect my film to get developed within one hour when I check that off! However, it has happened 3-4 times, where I was either refused services(because their machine is broken) or my film is not developed within the hour and I have to come back the next day! The usual excuse is that the machine is broken, or, the person is new and doesn't know how to operate the machine. Usually the staff is always extremely apologetic and will give me discount on the service, so I do appreciate that....but I don't really care about getting a discount or profuse apologies, I want my film developed within the hour as Target advertises that it does! In my opinion, if you aren't going to provide superior service for a photo center with working machines and trained employees, please, please, please just give it up and don't bother including it as part of your business! I've given them so many chances already to get that machine fixed, and you know what, I'm done. I'm getting my film developed elsewhere, Walgreens or CVS seems like they might be more capable. read more

They've become slightly better since remodeling and I still think of this layout as a model Target, but the customer service leaves something to be desired. My father complains the employees aren't as attractive as the other Saint Louis Park location. I could really care less if they look good or not. I'm much more concerned with how many times they left me to locate an item on my own or argued with us over pricing. I think it hit an all time low when one of the register managers tried to convince us that the pants ringing up as $7.50 were 50% off the original $10 price. read more

I grew up during the end of the Cold War, and remember hearing stories of the shelves of Russian stores being empty...this place feels that way every time I go shopping here. Things are just "missing" from the shelves, and there appear to be less choices to the consumer than one would see at other Target locations. Boy, after re-reading this...I am a spoiled American... I"ve been in tons of targets throughout my days, and I still firmly believe that this is the best one! I really just understand it. The lay out is great, it makes 100% sense to me, and I can always find the clearance aisle ends with no trouble. At least there are tons of those aisle caps! Unlike other Targets, ahem... downtown, this place is good for deals and steals! Plus, I feel they always have tons more shoes and movie options to choose from. I rarely buy movies anymore, but when I do see a classic that only costs $5.88.. I can't turn it down. read more
