I like going to target as it's usually an easy in/out shopping experience as long as you're not there to peruse and shop vs buying. That day I needed a few grocery items. I will warn you produce is usually priced much higher than the regular stores. I needed milk and wasn't going to a larger store so I bought it. It was probably 80 cents to $1 dollar more than other stores. The fruit is sold individually not by the pound. They have a target gift cards to lure you to buy probably more than you may need.. This particular time it was cleaning products and the trade off of getting $5 off $50 cleaning product just want enough deal when I don't need $50 worth of product. I'm a big app user so you can find some good deals on the Target app. At the end of each season you can find greatly reduced items. July the summer furniture , (citronella candles, bug spray i", outdoor furniture) on sale. I've bought an outdoor chaise lounge in the past for 50% off. Good greeting cards, gift wrap as well as bathroom needs( towels, washcloths). A lot of these personal, household items are aimed at college students, younger people starting out on their own. I bought my daughter the shower basket where shampoo, conditioner and other bath items can be placed and carried. Target seems to have a few more Target associates than other places. Makes shopping a bit easier when you need to ask someone for location of an item. Overall good store for shopping needs vs. Kohls , and prefer it over Walmart read more

I saw the prior reviews about this store being trashy. I like the location as it's located here in New Braunfels. It's very clean but I admit there are a lot of gaps as if the store needs to be restocked. For instance I've come here twice for Mango Cart beer and there is none to be found. I also went here this morning to get vaccinated at the CVS located inside. There were 2 employees and the phone kept ringing. Otherwise the service was fine. It's a gamble to come to this location to get what you want. read more

Forget Target!! I ain't ever going back! I had two cars that I wanted. They didn't ring up. The cashier comes over and scans them and they say $19.99!! I said forget that!! They were on a $5.99 peg!! I paid for the car that I did get and went back to check the price. Sure enough!! They were on a $8.59 peg!! So I went to customer service and explained. I even took a picture of them on the peg!! They said I couldn't buy them AT ALL because they're Target+ items and weren't supposed to be on the shelf!! They're supposed to go back to somewhere! Is this is where customer service has gone? Not saying the customer is always right, but when the tag clearly says 1 price and rings up another, you should get the price of the tag, especially if there are a lot of the same product on that peg!! My husband and I bought four items at Target, New Braunfels on 8/9/2025. I noticed that we were over charged. I went to returns/ customer service. There were two Target employees: one was helping a customer. The other employee ignored me until my white husband walked up. The employee acknowledged my husband but he pointed to me. Tried to purchase from baby registry online for an upcoming shower. Delivery several days away... too late to be on time.so, I drive to Creekside to purchase baby gifts from Registry. Machine not working. Tried several times. When I sought help from young woman behind desk, she had no empathy for my frustration and ask for a printout of the baby registry I needed, she told me to open up the target app in my phone. This is why I avoid Target. Seriously, no help when needed. When I told her that, she just looked down at her counter and ignored me...not even one response...not even and "I'm sorry". Working hard to earn the #1 spot as worst shopping experience. The trash was overflowing, the store was generally dirty overall. I used to shop at Target because I didn't mind paying more for a good shopping experience. That doesn't seem to be the case anymore. The creepy baristas at the Starbucks seemed more interested in gossiping than serving customers. The debit card pin pad wasn't just filthy and greasy it was almost slimy. Like it would kill someone to take 10 seconds out of their day to wipe it down. The only thing more disgusting than the tables and chairs was the floor. Do not recommend. Every Time I shop at this Target location during check out there is 1 person at the register. Self check out there is 1 person and only 1 register of several that allows for the use of cash. All the self check out registers should be ready for either cash use or card use. Only having one self check out register that cash can be used with causes confusion and long lines. Thats just simply Laziness to only place cash in one too. read more

This feedback is strictly for the Starbucks in Target in New Braunfels. On 6/11/22 @ 545p, my wife and I were in line waiting to place our order but had to wait for the employees and their customer friend to stop talking. Some time had passed then I asked for the customer friend to proceed to the corner to pick up her drink so my wife can order. Normal procedures at all Starbucks, right? Both employees continued to talk to their friend, neglecting my wife. When I didn't think the service couldn't get any worse, I over heard the small employee with dark hair apologizing to her friend out loud for my "rudeness" simply because I interrupted their gossiping. I guess in today's youthful workforce, we all have to wait for them to stop gossiping and do what they want to do before they focus on their jobs. Good customer service is a thing of the past. Also, the table, floors and chairs were filthy. They were out of lemon loaf, banana loaf, strawberries to make their feature drinks. This whole experience was a mess. read more

At one time this was a great store, however since this area is going through extensive construction it is very dangerous to get to. Many small stores have folded because of the dangerous area, including Newk's. I go to any other location besides this location. Police say the intersection leading to this location is the most dangerous intersection in New Braunfels. The construction is supposed to be completed next year but don't hold your breath. The experimental intersection will without a doubt cause many accidents as people try to learn how to navigate through it. read more

They fought off my attackers, conducted a citizens arrest and still helped me find a dessert for my family potluck. New Braunfels Target Misses the Mark, Again...and Again. I have always loved shopping at Target stores. They are sort of the Neiman's of discount stores. The floors are always shiny and free of litter. The carts run smoothly. The merchandise is of high quality. There are many reasons to love Target. Unfortunately, the New Braunfels location has made a VERY POOR impression. The store is filthy. Trash was overflowing, clothes were strewn about, and the shelves were so messy it was difficult to know anyone worked there. However, there seem to be plenty of employees. I am not sure what they are doing, but I know they are NOT cleaning the store. It is disgusting. Last month, I took about twenty pictures of the sad state of the men's department while four workers stood around and chatted. I'm no "karen," but I did report the store to corporate. I very nicely asked them to please alert the management that a customer was complaining about the state of the store. I went back last night to pick up a few items and NOTHING had been done. In fact, it may have been worse this time. I wasn't able to find what I was looking for and no one could seem to help me. I opened the Target app on my phone and searched for the items. I managed to find a couple of them but they were not on the aisle reported by the app. It's a sad state of affairs. I won't be returning to shop there until they get their act together. I expect Target to live up to its value of Drive: to do what is right for Target, for the team, and for the customer. They carry Papyrus greeting cards for those that don't know about papyrus, they are THE best cards money can buy. I did have an issue with with the iPad case I bought. I shop at Targets in different cities, I know they are clean and organized. NOT THIS ONE! The ladies clothing area was a total shambles! Could not even get a cart down the isles because of clothes on the floor, draped over end caps! I know the clearance area can get a bit disorganized but this was a shambles! The snack area up front where you self serve drinks etc, was out of cups, lids and napkins, the cold shelves in the snack section were empty and for goodness sakes, don't put cash in the self check, it tells you a clerk will bring your change, LOL, waited 10 minutes, and had to go tell a young lady at the registers. The pharmacy at target is the best. I recently turned 26 and had to get off my parents insurance and have had a terrible time finding a pharmacy that is kind and understanding since i take a number of different pills prescribed by my psychiatrist. This Target annoys me because they are horrible at keeping prices updated. On multiple occasions I've noticed the price scans higher than posted. They also keep previous promotional advertisement up long after its over. They also must have very low grocery sales because i've purchased multiple expired goods/ goods that were expiring in a week. I loved my cute new summer dress! Problem was...even though it was lined, it was still see through!!! YIKES! I didn't even notice until after we left our hotel so before we got to our next destination (Austin), I needed to pick up a slip. This is where Target comes into play. This Target is in a new development and can be easily found right off the freeway. The store is very clean, has a Starbucks inside and everything is well laid out as you would expect a Target to be designed. Workers were friendly and we were even asked while walking down the aisle if we needed help. Yes, it's true - they were helpful! Check out was also very quick although they don't give you a credit for bringing your own bag in. Boo! The lady thought I was NUTS when I asked. Leave it to us Californian's to be green. Went on a Sunday evening trip to target. I have noticed that the store is unusually messy and unorganized. Normally this location is very neat a tidy. I will reconsider the next time I shop here. I live in the apartments down the road from target so naturally this is where I shop especially having two young kids, it's quick. Last night we went to purchase a few things and this is NOT the first time we have been racially profiled. My bf and I are both POC, we never pull the race card but we were followed out of the store once. Thought we were probably just overreacting but nope. Yesterday we went and only one checkout line was open that wasn't self checkout. Again, we have two young kids and we had quite a bit of groceries so to get out quicker we went to the checkout line. The lady in front of us paid and left then another employee came and said, and I quote "only self checkout is open". We were confused since someone had just been in the checkout line 2 seconds ago but we went to the self checkout. We scanned two items before a mom and daughter go to the checkout line we just tried to go to that the associate said was CLOSED, and told the other associate to go back and check them out. They literally only had a handful of items that self checkout would not have been an issue. I would LOVE TO BE ABLE TO WALK INTO A TARGET AND BE ABLE TO RECEIVE THE SAME AMOUNT OF HELP AND RESPECT AS THE WHITE PEOPLE NEXT TO ME. Too the lady working last night around 8pm and was cleaning the self checkout... F*CK YOU. Too the associate who followed us out the store one night.... F*CK YOU. This is not one of their super stores, but you should have any problem finding what your looking for. They have a Starbucks in the front as most Target's do. The store is clean and well kept unlike some of the other chains. They have a small grocery section and the big difference is the selection is smaller and they produce section is tiny. If you are looking for an item or two this place should be sufficient. The only think I noticed I'd that every time I've been there they only have 1-2 checkouts open. I'm kinda upset at the fact that I made a blank trip out here. I ordered a shirt from Target.com and had it shipped to store. Based on the tracking information, the item had arrived 2 days prior. I went to the store and showed my order information. The elder lady behind the counter told me she didn't see anything with my order number or name on it in the back. I called Target.com and told them my item wasn't being found and they reassured me it was there. I called back the next day to the store because after a certain amount of days, the item is returned. I spoke to William. He was very micenand helpful. He took my information down and assured me he'd call back within a 30 minute time frame. Not even 5 minutes later, he called back. He couldn't find anything based on my order number BUT he went the extra mile and looked at the packages by their tracking numbers and found mine. Had the woman did the same thing the day before, I wouldn't have had to waste my time or gas going back a second time to pick up and item that had been there for three days. 3 stars for William at the customer service desk. read more
