Alright, everyone hates the 3% of Americans who have started couponing. I know, I get it. However, out of all the huffing and puffing in line behind me no one has ever offered to pay for ANYTHING - so wait your turn. That is the least of my worries however, stupid employees are more crucial to the failure in my process of checking out. First of all, I thought this was a great store. However, management has left people in control that are not able nor confident enough to make an executive decision when required. They were not willing to help. Customer service is a serious passion of mine. If you get to the register and have the wrong item do not expect the customer to walk back and forth the 3 miles to correct the issue, rather DON'T PURCHASE ANYTHING AND WALK AWAY which is what I wish I would have done from the start of this fiasco. After my 4 mile walk, hour long checkout process that started at 10:45pm yet another product the "manager" decided was not eligible for sale she refused to go get it for me, or allow me to get it as she had to clear the floor of the store and they closed 30 minutes ago. Well hello McFly, I was in the checkout line prior to closing and would just simply like to purchase my items and walk away. She told me to come back tomorrow! I'm so heated, the store manager is not even the go to person for this instance, this is a District Management issue quite frankly. Today I went here to return a defective Coleman air mattress. The hood rat sales Associate said that all opened air mattress Products are exchange for another mattress of equal or greater value . After explaining I don't want an air mattress anymore she called the manager "Mike" over who was equally uncooperative. I really didn't want another air mattress after dealing with such a defective product but seemed to have no other alternative. I picked out another brand that was 20.00 less to exchange and this time the sales associate seemed to at least speak the language. She indicated because the product was defective she could go ahead And issue a full refund back to my Visa card. Needless to say I will never go back to this Target or any other location for that matter. read more

Today I went in to buy a few things and first off, there were so many employees being rude to customers it was unreal. But it happens so I went about my business and grabbed a Synergy Kombucha drink and checked out. When I got home, I took the Synergy out of the bag to open it when I saw the expiration date: 12/19/2015! It is 1/10/2016 so this bottle is almost a month expired. Now, for most juices, a month isn't a huge deal because most juices are processed and have preservatives. However, Synergy is an organic and RAW product which means its expiration date is more than a mere suggestion. I understand human error happens but a month? I immediately called the target and talked to a guy who said he would have one of his guys check the juices and pull any other expired juices. He had such a bad attitude about it though. When I went back tonight to return the juice and get a refund, I went back to the cooler to check for myself and sure enough, there were more expired juices! Either that guy lied to me or something. The concerning part for me was that the bottles that expired in 2015 were in front of bottles that are good until 9/2016. This means that whoever stocked the cooler intentionally put the expired/rotting bottles in front of the non-expired bottles. Ridiculous. I took a few of the expired/rotting bottles to the check out area where there was a manager, Tameeka(sorry if that is misspelled). I explained the situation and showed her the bottles and she showed concern and apologized for the situation, which I did appreciate. It turns out that for certain products like the Synergy juice, a third party vendor delivers and stocks it. And no one from the Target staff actually double checks things. The manager did tell me that would be following up on it right away. So if you shop here for perishables, I would strongly suggest you double check the expiration dates. read more

What can I say about this target. I love it, I'm always at target since it's a few blocks from where I live. I go quite a few times during the week. Well ok I can't completely love it, because it's food selection is not so much great like a normal market. If it's food selection were bigger maybe I would not have to go to the market. It can also be a bit pricey but I can deal with it. They are really clean here which is great too. Overall it's a good target. read more

What in the hell is going on at the North Miami Target?!?!? This is my second time here this week and it's my second time where there are dozens of red-shirted employees running around aimlessly or screeching in the aisles while lines of shoppers grow at the front of the store. Clearly they have decided to not train employees anymore on courtesy. On both occasions employees were holding loud, personal conversations around shoppers, almost as if we were invading their space! No good morning or good afternoon. Today, only after there were about 12 of us, in each of three check-out lines, did some kid in a red shirt grab a walkie-talkie and call for assistance at the front. Giving two stars because Target does carry great merchandise and some special items that you can't get at a Wal-Mart or K-mart. Can you imagine this location during the holidays? Target North Miami lost its edge. The lines are long and customer service almost non-existent. Did Target merge with Walmart?

Not the best Target I've been to, but they always have what I need. They also have tons of sales. Yesterday, I got a cardigan that was originally $20 for $4. I always find lots of deals at this particular location. Some of the clientele is a little sketchy, and the employees aren't very helpful or friendly. The bathrooms are disgusting. I've gone in to wash my hands a few times, and I would never get near one of those stalls. But you don't go to Target to pee or expecting stellar customer service. You go because it's nicer than Wal-Mart, but still a place to get stuff you need for a good price. Not one of my favorite Targets I've shopped at. More often than not, this store seems to be always stocking products. Now ironically this sounds like a positive, but an odd thing I've noticed is some of the shelves still look empty after supposedly being stocked. Often times I can't find what I am shopping for. One area of the store that really has some issues at times is the storage bin area. Many times there will be a bin but no matching lid, or vice-versa. I was told by an employee one time that customers often take extra lids, so there are a lot of bins without matching lids. I do give points to this store for being clean. This is probably one of the cleaner Targets I have shopped at and I've shopped at some dodgy Targets in California before. Also there are some great deals to be found. I've gotten some great outdoor purchases on sale at the end of the season each year. Another area for clearance is the grocery department. Certain times during the year huge sections seem to be placed on clearance. Now one tip I can give is shop earlier in the day. The lines seemed to be long most of the day with only a few check stands open. The best times I find are right after the store opens up until 10am. The lines will usually be shorter and less shoppers in the store. Plus I notice the shoppers in the morning are usually more friendly. read more

Shop here only if you must... Its not the store that's so bad, its the clerks that check you out that ruins the experience. You're not greeted, thanked, or even acknowleged in the checkout lane. I have gone numerous times to both this store and Midtown and this happens 80% of the time. This is the "typical Miami attitude" I really cannot stand. I refuse to shop at both this store and the MIdtown Miami store due to their deplorable customer service. Target should really get its act together. read more

This is a nice Target. Thankfully, this store is kept clean, organized, and well stocked. I have two minor complaints....this Target seems to lack some items found at other targets and the check-out lines are often long. Now, this second complaint is a tough one, because they're definitely not short-staffed. Instead, the army of Target employees are stocking shelves and cleaning, so it's a delicate balance. :/ Hmmm, I guess I can tolerate a little bit of a line, but maybe they can open one (or two) more check-out lanes when it's super busy. lol read more

It's generally ok. Pluses: Lots of parking. Not crowded. Relatively short lines (Saturday mornings). Clean. Organized. Minuses: Prices are not "discount" like Costco... ..and often more expensive than Publix. No unit pricing (didn't supermarkets start that 20 years ago??) No more cheap-chic "cool factor" that Target had in the 1990s. I'd give it a four star if it were not for the lack of unit prices. read more

I don't think I've ever had to write a review for a target, because target is just..target. You kind of don't expect much when you go there and you know the employees will be just normal and not overly nice or overly rude.. but I'm appalled by my first and last experience there. I had ONE item, and I stood in one of the 5 very long lines because not many lanes were open. The line I was in, the lady closed the line when it was my turn and said to "go wait in lane 5" because she would be opening there right now. So I went over there and waited like she said, and then this other lady who was supervising the self check out lanes or whatever, leads this other customer and her whole family with like 3 carts full of stuff in front of me, with my one single item, and the customer moves me out of the way and says I wasn't in line cause they just opened the lane for her which I guess the employee was fine with that. Then the employee actually made me go wait in another line that took forever. Safe to say after waiting a 3rd time I did not make my purchase I just left. They should utilize the walkie talkies they have and communicate with each other since that's what they are for. read more

This target on Biscayne is the most poorly managed Target I have ever visited-unfortunately it is the one closet to me. Today again I was in and there was only one register open-I don't count self check out. When I complained to the cashier he told me that it was a slow Saturday morning. I said over ten people waiting for that one check out and at least ten more waiting for self check out isn't a slow morning in my book. I asked to speak to the manager-Robert who he contacted by radio and I heard the exchange which was basically can't you just handle the customer and finally I will come up front but it will be awhile. This store always has dozens of people working there who will mow you down while they are walking around texting on their phones and they stand around and watch the one person checking out customers. Previously they always seem to be out of my decaf coffee, eventually I asked about it and turns out it was sitting in the store they just hadn't stocked it. Every time I get a buggy it has trash in it. Again they seem to have plenty of people working there they just aren't being managed. I guess I need to drive further or find my items elsewhere. read more

If I could give the store zero stars for how rude the manger Laura e pierce was about exchange I wanted to make I would I attempted to exchange diapers for my newborn that were unopened and not damaged at all and was given very rude and unsympathetic attitude about the situation. And was then told not to come back and try to make any exchanges period boycott any company that treats u with such a manner. This store is always clean and filled with friendly employees. Things are usually easy to find and the checkout process is usually quick unlike other Targets that I have been to. The prices are pretty competitive which makes me that much more comfortable shopping here! read more

Most of the staff here is a set of slow, nasty, unhelpful, trashy low class bunch. The so called low level self claimed "manager" PORSHA is particularly bad, unprofessional, slow, not remotely concerned about customers. She deliberately caused me to wait 20-25 minutes while my 2 babies screamed hysterically at the check out because she couldn't ring in a proper discount. She was called to the register which also took her 15 minutes to come, and then stood there doing nothing while my children suffered. She was extremely beyond sarcastic, and verbally abusive. As you walk thru this store just about ever employee in every department (if they are to be found at all) are talking loudly about all sorts of gross and inappropriate personal life's details, parties, sex, and cursing all the while. This store must be the worst in the area as as anyone can see by reviews- clearly low low quality. My guess is only a HR manager or Bad management in General could ever be so trashy and useless as this store full of jerks! I just got my red card and will be canceling it this week. read more

I used to dread getting in the car and braving the traffic on Biscayne to make my weekly Target visit, but since Midtown Target opened, I find this "middle" Target always has what I'm looking for. Because there is no Target for the Beach dwellers, the Midtown Target gets ramsacked on weekends by the Miami Beachers and a lot of the popular items are no where to be found. So now, I gladly hop in my car and head to the Target on Biscayne because no one goes there anymore and there's more than enough stuff to choose from. Plus, they have the world's greatest hand dryer in the bathroom. Seriously, it has so much air pressure the skin on your hands actually flaps around like the faces of those people you see jumping out of airplanes! read more

I shopped at this Target over the holidays and after shopping for 3 hours to get provisions for my upcoming holiday party, my banking card declined due to suspicion of fraudulent activity(common when shopping a lot). I was forced to use my business credit card which is a big no, no within our company policy. I went back at a later date to beg Target to reverse the charges and transfer to my reg dept card. A VERY NICE employee named Elizabeth fulfilled my request. Elizabeth had to cancel every transaction (over $400 worth) and re-charge every item on my dept card. It took her 30 minutes and it would've been very easy for her to say no. Because of Elizabeth, I will be a loyal customer to Target for life! This is the target in my neighborhood, there is plenty of parking and it's always organized. I cannot complain about the staff as I have never had any bad experiences with anyone. If you ask where something is they will tell you. I wish it was as nice as the one in midtown that has more options in clothing, but it still works. This location has the food market as well. They do have organic options as well as conventional, but always read the ingredients regardless if it's organic. They have the $1-$5 section and it seems to be changing by season or holiday, which is a plus. This one also has a Starbucks inside and their target cafe. Returns are easy and I never really see a line unless is after a holiday. They have a huge parking area and unless it's a holiday you will always find parking. read more

Horrible place! Don't give your money to these people or any Target! I ordered some food to eat at this location and asked for a cup with water and they told me they don't give water to anybody it's just for employes. Amazing!! Love this Target! I'm here 1-2 times a week. I return items constantly and its so easy. I love that you don't need a receipt - they just look it up by the card you used. I always find great deals on clearance and ALWAYS come home with more than I came for! And, if course, I love that there is a Starbucks..makes shopping even more enjoyable read more

Better than most places around here. This is your typical Target: the employees are nice, most things are in stock, and the food selection is decent. I don't have very many complaints about this store. Though I will suggest waiting for the Christmas 90% off (2-3 weeks after Christmas around January 4th) sale and looking for things that are not ordinarily found in the Christmas isle like ziploc bags, pans, etc. Overall, great place! read more

My favorite target.... It usually has everything I need and more. It's usually Bette to shop at night when it's not too packed.

The customer service at this location is the worse I've ever experienced at a Target!! My friend and I went in for a compression garment because she just had surgery. When we got to the register the cashier let us know the tag was not on it and that we would need to go back and find one and bring it up. There was no one in line behind us my friend was starting to feel a little weak. I explained that she just got out of surgery .. even showed her the bandages... I asked her is it possible she could have someone run back and get it or get the price for us. She looked annoyed to have to ask someone. There were 4 people working behind her that was putting back merchandise that had been returned. When she asked them they all shrugged and acted like it was such a bother that my friend said "don't worry forget about it". I then asked the cashier what happened to customer service? And She then told me "you're not looking for service you're looking for a maid" read more

Today in North Miami, was raining more than usual, when I was ready to leave the store it was raining so hard people started to wait by both exit and entrance, and after waiting for over 20 mins I went inside for a large shopping bag to cover myself and I asked one of the associates; may I have one of this bags? (I did not think they'd say anything and was about to grab one) when one ot the "ass ociates"there put her hand on top of them to prevent me from taking it and said no, they are too expensive! I said what? she goes on and said you can take a small one, I said that's not gonna help and there are a lot of people at the door we are on the way and my ice cream is melting and told her I pay for it and grabbed one,, and I asked her name and she said, Sandy S A N D Y . I looked at her disgusted and just left. Some people have to learn not to treat others like they are or were treated but how they would like to be treated! I am not use to customer service like this and she should't be there if it bothers her. On the other hand I have had other better service experieces by employees there. read more

Target is the best of the bunch when it comes to department stores such as Wal-Mart, Costco etc. They have great sales every week. They sell everything from food to clothes electronics and office supplies. They are one of the few places that sell a full line of journals year-round. They have the best prices in town for dog food and biscuits. They have great deals on men's and women's clothing, DVD's, CD's, holiday items, storage bins, decorations for the home. I can't think of anything they don't sell. They sell Ice- the best car care products in the world- car wax, cleaner, sponges and highest quality cloths that won't scratch your car. Target has a full service pharmacy and they have every over the counter item you can think of. They also have shampoos and soaps as well as razors and shaving cream. I can do all my shopping in one place! All of their stores seem to have their departments in the same place, so if you are in a strange Target, you can find what you need immediately. They keep the restroom clean and parking is easy and smooth. They're great. read more

this is the upgrade of Walmart... I love that they have expanded to include food e.g. fruits... Looking for a merchandise that was not available in another Target. I think I call like 7 times never get a response when they transfer me to the department. They operator was not cooperative. A couple of weeks back my cousins and I went to this Target very last minute looking for wedding decoration ideas for the reception. THe store Manger Laura Pierce was great! We came in with our own idea but after she started helping us we left with a much bigger scenery picture for the wedding reception. She was kind, considerate, thoughtful, and honestly just wanted to make sure we were happy with the things we were getting! This helped my cousin (the bride to be) feel much more relaxed since tomorrow was her big day. So we just wanted to take the time and say thank you and say this target has a strong store team leader.
