The staff have always been tremendously friendly and helpful. They have quite a large frame selection from well-known and local designers. You're sure to find a diamond in the rough at this spot! Update: 5/16/2024 - Lasik was a success! For those…read moreconsidering it, here are a few things to know. Total time from entering to leaving the clinic is about a hour to an hour and a half. I was lucky only 5 people were ahead of me, but I was told that it can be as much as 20 (so could be longer) - The actual procedure is about 15 minutes. They use a little suction first on the eye. This for me was the most irritation and pain of the process. Due to machine being pressed against eye and has to be centered. Not comfortable. Not long though. - The actual laser you don't really feel anything, the doctor uses a little brush to wipe your eyes. If your eyes water a lot like mine. They do use a tiny little vacuum to get the excess liquid. (kinda like at the dentist but 10x smaller) - Eyes are a little red from the suction. But you notice a difference right away. Can be blurry at times on and off which is normal. Eyes need to heal, but use the drops regularly and recovery so far is great! Recommend! Love the staff there! First time here, was helped by Tamika who was excellent! Very friendly and informative. Came here for the free consultation for lasik. If you never done this before like me. Here is what to expect. (do the patient registration online, saves you time) Took about 1.5 hours from start to finish. They basically do a whole eye exam again and have you watch 8 minute video about the process. They go over pricing, side effects, recovery time and after care after the surgery. Lots of information but so far good experience.

I…read morevisited Target at Knollwood first and after meeting Jonathan at the front desk, I decided there was no reason to look any further. Jonathan is one of a kind. First, and maybe most importantly, he knows his craft and was able to introduce me to optical premises and ideas that had never crossed my mind. For example, when I asked for his opinion regarding frame selection, he readily selected a pair that he thought would be right for me. I had already pretty well decided on another set of frames and was feeling quite confident about my choice until I tried on the frames that Jonathan had selected. He explained in detail the technical reasons for his choice, and as soon as I tried on the set, I knew what he was talking about, I agreed with his thinking, and I happily went with his selection. Jonathan is not only skilled at his job, he is patient, accommodating, and very pleasant to work with. I watched him juggle the needs of other patients -- a patient checking in for an appointment, a customer making a purchase, a person with questions about a product, someone on the phone who needed to discuss something; the list goes on -- and Jonathan addressed each individual as if s/he were the only person in the room. Jonathan sold me on Target Optical, Knollwood, before I ever even saw Dr. Teragawa, but my favorable impression of this location didn't stop with Jonathan. Dr. Teragawa performed a routine eye examination and I was also very impressed with her. She conducts herself in a professional manner and I found her to be extremely thorough. I didn't spend as much time in the examination room with Dr. Teragawa as I did with Jonathan, as I tried on frames, asked a plethora of questions, etc., but I was with Dr. Teragawa long enough to see that she is very accomplished at what she does.
