The employees at the front desk and optical are very helpful and patient. Dr Christensen is an EYE DOCTOR. He completed many years of schooling and training and it becomes very apparent very quickly. Anyway, you don't need to know all the details, just that she acknowledged my frustration with the post-COVID corporate hellscape that is Centralized Human Resources Centers that Visionworks unsurprisingly takes part in. This is obviously beyond her control, but what WAS in her control was the kindness and humor she showed my wife and I in making things right. Each follow up was in kind, and we ended up purchasing a set of glasses in addition to the contacts. In a calamity of errors (it's hard to stop tripping down a set of stairs), the trial pair of contacts was in the wrong Rx, but this was quickly resolved with the on-site doctor. At that point, it was just funny, and we all had a good-ol Karen laugh about it. The gentleman who adjusted her glasses today was super kind. Once my wife - who's only period of rapid decision making has been saying yes to my proposal - had lunch and realized she needed a second adjustment just 20 minutes after these poor people thought they were finally rid of us, he happily made the necessary adjustments to the princess and the pea while Kelly hid from us behind her desk. Needless to say, we told her "see you real soon!" I also called Walmart Vision (not the store) and they were AWFUL. Everyone is passing the buck and I'm stuck with a balance bill. The store doesn't step in to help. It's a mess. Will steer clear of Walmart associated vision centers going forward, that's for sure.

I went here to get glasses and boy what a terrible experience that was. My glasses finally came in…read moreafter 2 weeks and were dirty and the lady there couldn't be bothered to adjust them or clean them. Gave me some crap felt case for them. Come to find out that there was no anti glare done them. Brought them back and payed another $130 to have the anti glare put on and waited another 2 weeks for them. Received them and another lady there was annoyed that I needed them adjusted more. They kept falling down my nose. I get home and I see there is some purpleish hue around the lense that won't clean off. So now I've payed $330 with insurance and I'm heading back there again. The store manager says the purple color is normal. I've never had a pair of glasses that have had that on it. She kept saying it's normal. Finally I had them just refund all my money. I called the day before the July 4th holiday as a shot in the dark to see if I could schedule an exam today. His guy was out but he referred me to an amazing ophthalmologist, Dr. Colella. After the exam I went to meet Chris. This is a quaint little shop and Chris was so kind and helpful. I tried frames on and he gave me much needed opinions. The prices are very reasonable for frames and lenses. He even gave me a sample of content lenses to see if I can get used to mono vision in place of bi focal lenses. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I'm so thankful Chris picked up the phone when I called. I wish I had found him years ago!
