This store is getting worse and worse.. Your staff is pretty awful. The cashier whom is an elder Indian woman, is very rude. Every time I've been in her lane, she's been very snippy with me. Last time I went there, she put my receipt on the scanner, left my bag connected to the bag holder, didn't say a single word to me, and walked away. Who does this? Just had the absolute worst experience at the target off Dundee rd in Palatine Il.. Every single cart was wet so I asked the lady behind the desk if I could use the one behind there, she said "no I'm using it" (it was empty) I then asked to speak to the manager where she said she was. So I walked away, and asked a nice kid if she was the only manager, he said no, and I asked if he could get the other bc I was not dealing with her. He paged mgr. she then walks up and starts yelling at the kid telling him he had no right to page the manager he should have went through her bc she is his boss. We exchanged words, to where she then threatens me in front of my children. My 12 year old starts crying. Thank god other manager walked up and I walked away with him. Got everyone's names involved and I will be calling the store manager and corporate. Hope noone has a run in with LaShonda like I just had. I posted this in my local moms group and about 15-20 other people commented they have had the same kind of run in with this woman. Absolutely terrible this is the kind of person to represent the business. I will not be back at this location, Walmart is around the corner. However I would like to say I also had an encounter with Susan, and she was SO nice.. SHE should be a manager. Not the vile person I encountered. read more

Went to this Target to buy my Dad a set of headphones for 97 birthday. He is so excited to learn how to listen to books on tape as his eye sight is failing. I asked the young man in the electronics department where I could find wireless headphones which would be compatible with my dad's Bose radio. He directed me to the appropriate aisle. I picked up a pair of headphones which this young man said would work. I get home only to find out from my husband that they are not compatible with any type of Radio including a Bose. My husband is headed out to another store (not a Target) to find a compatible set. I found this experience frustrating. I would hope that an associate assigned to this department would be able to answer questions, be trained in compatibility of equipment and show that they care enough to make sure the customer walks out with what they are looking for. I will not be shopping this Target again for electronics. read more

Although it is going to take me a little time to adjust to the new layout of the store what with the grocery area and all now, I simply love Target. The employees are friendly, they've got a good (and cheap) clothing selection, and they're always pairing with modern designers for affordable duds!!! It's my one-stop shop. read more

To start, I like this store...well organized, clean and I always find what I'm looking for. Besides that, I like the fact that it has a Starbucks inside. Staff is friendly and when lines get long managers do their best and pulling staff from other departments to open registers to assist waiting customers. I like shopping here. read more

I would definitely skip this pharmacy. You have to call to follow up on prescriptions and they don't seem to know what they are doing. Be prepared to have to be the liaison between them and your doctors office. Walgreens does this work for you! read more

I frequent this Target once a week, and I have to say this particular location always has great sales. I love walking up and down the end aisles and finding great deals on things. I had an easy time finding what I needed at this location. I was trying to find a well-priced digital picture frame for my mom's birthday. I am not sure why, but almost all of the frames were on sale. Score one for me, and one for Target! Also, I was able to check out by the counter in the electronics department. I had to work hard to get his attention, though, but that was not his fault. He was attempting to assist a very confused customer about whether or not the Breaking Dawn Part 1 DVD that included the flower (very important, I guess) was or was not Blu Ray. VERY serious stuff, you know ;) But I would come back again if the occasion arises! read more

The staff here are super friendly and helpful and always make sure you are being taken care of. The store seems a little on the old side but it is still kept clean and Farley well stocked. If it isn't in season you most likely won't find it. The prices tend to be good to. An easy location to to get in and out of. read more

WHOAH!! I stopped going to this location a couple of years ago because of a very rude and abrasive check lane manager named Lashaunda. She was rude to the guests. She was rude to her employees. I was on my way to work and had to make an emergency stop to this location and was delighted to find that this disrespectful person was no longer with the company. Happy dance!! Frankly. I don't know how she managed to remain employed with the company in that capacity for as long as she did but so happy to hear that she is no longer there. I also noticed that one very pleasant manager was no longer there. I believe her name was Susie?? She had very long dark hair she was very bubbly and friendly and everybody seemed to like her. Returns were always done graciously with a smile and she seemed genuine and sincere. Sorry for her loss and congrats on your other loss. read more

This store needs to be more vigilant. In the parking lot there are numerous cars that do not have handicap placards that are parked in handicap spaces period when brought to the manager's attention he said there's nothing they can do about it. Even though his customers brought him the license plate and description of the car. There is loitering outside of the store with employees and customers smoking at the front doors. Once inside the store is dirty and the workers have no idea where anything is or how to help you. It is worth driving further away to go to a better Target store. I am so torn. The new design looks great! I feel like I am shopping in a department store rather than target. Of course I did not know where anything was, but that is to be expected. Everything is well marked just not where it used to be. My biggest complaint is I had my toddler buckled into the cart, but the cart could not be pushed through the baby section. The cart could not fit down the shoe aisle in the toddler section. The cart did not fit down many aisles. It was really a pain in the butt. I would walk down an aisle and have to back out because I could not get out the other end. Eventually I just abandoned my cart and would come back to put things in a few at a time. Hopefully this is just temporary and they will work the bugs out as they go. But until then I can only go to that target without baby, which isn't really any fun at all. Target, I love you because you have everything. I hate you because I only need to buy mascara and then I spend $75 and I don't even know what. read more

Employees at this target are very friendly. They always ask if you need help finding merchandise. I would like to see the Women's department have more of a choice of clothing like the Arlington Heights store on Rand Road. When I have used the restrooms they have been clean but could be better. Love the starbucks! I would much rather go to this target than the Walmart in Palatine. That store is horrible unfriendly employees, not clean and smells! read more

I find that this store has its employees running around doing stocking,etc. at the expense of helping the customers. Employees seem to do their best,but perhaps lack enough customer service training. They want to make everything flow so effeciently and fast but they seem pressured. read more

NO stars for this store at this time! I am extremely frustrated. Using my Target debit card, I was double-charged for merchandise by a lazy girl at the counter. In the end, all I could do was file a federal invesigation regulation E fraud claim! No solutions could be found after talking to numerous supervisors at the store and at their 800 customer service number, making 3 extra trips to the location, and wasting hours of my time and hours on my cell phone. This is disgusting and a great way to lose business from me, my family, and friends! The least they could do is reimburse me for the double-charge and for some of this hassle with a gift card. read more

This Target is BY FAR the worst Target I have ever went to. I first wanted to buy a video game that was limited to one person. There was 2 left. An older lady said "i will buy it" and they said no because they feared it would go to me. The kid behind the counter, Id say around 25 thought he was the CEO of Target, which he would never be as his customer service was the worst I have ever witnessed. He took the game I had out of my hands and said now you don't get any game. I got 2 managers involved and I was able to purchase the 1 game and even then, the guy manager was terrible and had a bad attitude, but the girl had a more pleasant attitude. They said they have the right to refuse to sell anything to anyone, which I know is a law, but do they want to make money? Do they want customers to come back? Or do they want to leave a SALTY taste in their mouth forever. Seriously, I will NEVER go back to this store. The whole Management team and staff are the worst I have EVER witnessed. It was like I was in a different country. Last time I checked this is America. SO they sent the kid on break because he clearly had issues, saw him go to the bathroom, maybe he was holding in a dump, and I proceed to exit the Target. While I was leaving the parking lot... someone slammed into my right side of my rental vehicle while backing out and didn't look. Not only are the Staff terrible,so are the people who shop here. Now my neck aches and I have to deal with insurance. I WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE AGAIN AND I WARN ANYONE WHO DOES, THEY MAY EXPERIENCE THE SAME LEVEL OF DISRESPECT I DID. TO MAKE matters even worse, I called the store back and asked for the manager. I waited and he said we are busy call back later. I then called back and asked for electronics I think it was option 2. And got a manager on the phone. Her name was Brittany. She as well had attitude and just made me want to scream as she cannot resolve any issues what so ever and is completely incompetent in customer service or calming down a customer.
