I use the target pick up way too often and I've never had an issue. Aside from the terrible WiFi and glitches when trying to add your space number, the process is smooth and easy. I don't bother with food items, since I like to pick my own fruits and veggies. My review is base on anything that isn't fresh produce. I've ordered beauty products, Clothing items, toys, cleaning supplies and all. I even buy multiple sizes in clothes in case I am not sure of size and since low inventory can be an issue. I like that you can now do returns from the car and love that we can add Starbucks to our pick up. The staff are on it and if you enable your location, they can see when you're going to be arriving and have your order ready. read more

I am extremely disappointed with the customer service I experienced. My pickup order was delayed and was still not ready when I arrived, despite the fact that I had driven from nearly three hours away. Due to the excessive wait time and lack of communication regarding the status of my order, I ultimately had to cancel it and go inside to buy my items. Additionally, the customer assistance process was ineffective. I used the help button located near the cash registers multiple times, but no employee responded. When I approached a cashier directly to request assistance, I was refused help and met with employees who were unable to assist customers. The overall experience was frustrating and unwelcoming. As a customer, I expect timely service, clear communication, and staff who are willing to help when issues arise just as any other person would. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of those expectations. I also left with the impression that customers are not treated equally, which is deeply concerning and should be taken seriously. I hope management will review these concerns and take appropriate steps to improve customer service, responsiveness, and the overall customer experience. I had just visited this Target in Paso Robles. This location is a little bit smaller and some of the other locations I've been into down in LA where I'm from. Overall, everything is very well-stocked and you're able to find a lot of items up here where they might've been sold out and other parts of the state. Years ago I found some hard to find Oreos that they had in stock up here. Everyone is very friendly here I have spoken to many team members that they are very enthusiastic and was willing to go above and beyond with helping me solve my problem. Download the Target app and take advantage of the circle deals that they have. There are some decent savings on there. There should be tons of parking available here in this plaza so it makes it less stressful. read more

Quality/Quantity - Oranges - Quality of oranges were dry. Candy - 2 for $8, not allowed to mix and match. My daughter wanted sour patch kids and Swedish fish (which is owned by the same company). But the chips below were allowed to mix and match. 19 cent difference which this Target was not willing to honor. So for principle, we decided NOT to buy it. Snacks - Got the "Better For You" sweet potato chips. I guess I was trying to trick myself into thinking I'm eating healthy. Cheeto Chips - 2 for $8. We were allowed to mix and match for these chips. Game - WaveLength. Atmosphere - Consistent, well stocked. Open 7 days a week from 8am to 10pm; see my picture for CVS hours. Has all the departments - CVS Pharmacy, Starbucks, well easier to see my pictures. New "pickleball point" department, current newest fad. Produce & grocery department, both of which are smaller departments than most Targets I have been to. Small beer options, minimum local beers, but a decent wine department/section. Service - Failed today... Which is weird, as our regular Targets are customer focused. The above candy conversation gave my daughter a headache. And just for 19 cents... Plus we had to go to customer service which took a long time to speak to a manager. Price - $50. Slightly above average, but that is the cost for this brand. UPDATE!! Kudos to the drive-up specialist at Target today her technique was certainly efficient. No greetings or small talk, just right to the point. My order was loaded with zero hesitation: bread and lettuce placed on the floor, then a bag with two gallon water bottles dumped directly on top. The rest of the water bottles went onto the seats, with no particular order or care. Every item was given the same treatment, wherever it happened to land. To finish, the car door was slammed shut with impressive force. I actually don't mind honestly, I slam my own doors too. The effort to make a point was noted, but it definitely didn't have the intended effect. If you're looking for a drive-up experience that's quick, impersonal, and forgettable, this is the place. I come from the Bay Area and let me tell you, this is the best stocked Target we have EVER been to!! The parking lot is plently big with loads of parking. Upon entering, they have the shopping carts and baskets ready for you to utilize. We were in town to visit for my birthday and were stocking up on supplies for our Air B&B We got snacks, water, and some other miscellaneous things. Everything was very well stocked and easy to find. Appears this store scammed me. I purchased a pair of headphones (Beats Flex), along with a warranty. The headphones stopped working within a week and the store refused to exchange them or facilitate getting them serviced. Instead, I was given a piece of paper that explained in legalese that I was SOL. Thankfully, my bank is refunding my money, since I was defrauded in a purchase I made with a debit card. I had the best customer service experience with a young man whose name I think was Timothy? He had dark hair, skinny, and wore glasses. He helped me locate some Mason jars and even walked around the store to find me when he'd located them. Had to return my De'Longhi because it stopped working. Thank God for Starbucks, inside Target. Not only do I get 5% back because of the RedCard, but this barista delivered fast and accurate service. This store is the worst!! I came in on a Saturday evening around 8:30 PM (1-1/2 hours before closing time). All of the self checkout lanes were closed and there were only two cashiers open. There were at least ten people in each line. After waiting in line for 15-20 minutes, the line I was in abruptly decided to close down leaving only one open cashier and everyone in my line to have to go back to the end of the remaining cashier line. Now there's at least twenty people waiting in line! I demanded to speak to the manager!! And where was the manager?? Out on a break with two other employees!! They should all be fired!! read more

Need more cashiers when there are more than 5 people waiting in line to check out. It's ridiculous that employees are walking around acting busy when there's a line of people waiting to check out. Here we go again. Water on the floor by the carts. No toilet paper in the restrooms. Lots of empty shelves. Unfriendly staff and most importantly most of the shelves are half empty. I only came today to get a baby gift for my niece...she was on the registry. When I asked the girl why my list was not printing. She said "I have no idea how this works". I laughed because she works there not me. I am going back to Walmart bc at least I always find what I need. Also staff is walking around pushing empty carts with seemingly nothing to do. I was part of a company called SHIPT and i loved shopping for people in the SLO County area. I liked shopping at this Target because of the amazing staff they had working there. Im not too sure if they are working there now but while i was working for SHIPT, everyone was knowledgeable about their products and the locations they were in. They were very friendly and always so helpful....well....to me anyways. Thats why i bought some lunch to 2 Target employees there. I hope they enjoyed thier enchiladas. :o) I see that the rating is low, which is understandable....if you had a bad experience. My experience or experiences there was always amazing. The employees get treated like dirt if there is a problem but when things are good, no one ever says anything. I say great job Target and to all your staff there. CUSTOMER SERVICE I went to exchange an Item since the employee wasn't able to take off the security tag, I explained that I already paid for that item and the staff snapped at me and rudely replied "i know that I said I can't take it off" after another staff stepped in seeing how he was acting and tried helping but again couldn't take the security tag off and sent me to customer service to get an exchange, once I walked over and explained what happened the staff at customer service were extremely rude, didn't want to help. They treated me like I stole the item even though I told them they have the footage of when I walked into the store from my car with the item and how the item would show as out of stock if they scanned the bar code, They didn't care, and continued to NOT give me a return, they didn't exchange my item, and they didn't take off the security tag. I usually order online and pick up inside the store because it is so convenient and I am less likely to spend more money than I need to... because they always have I want but don't need !!! I don't even like to walk in this place anymore and the managers have such big attitudes whenever we come in. Don't feel comfortable with selection of things, like certain clothes because I don't like politics or agenda in the store, and quite frankly, the value of some of these items are pretty high price compared to other stores. ... Target used to be such a fun place to go. When I was a kid I want to walk around with my mother eat popcorn, and have snacks and ICEE while we run through target and look for a good deals. This is a great store with everything I need. I don't know why this place gets so many bad reviews, like I'm sorry that some kid doesn't want to enforce a mask mandate for $15 an hour all the while showing up to an understaffed store full of customers that apparently require the world to be happy. You are demanding and threatening every time I have had an encounter with you. I recently returned an item in store and now I'm $128 in the negative in my account thanks to this Target employee. Here goes. The shoes were $21.33 with tax. I return shoes in store, get no refund and get told it would be put back on my card. STILL HAVE THE RECEIPT. 14+ days without it refunded to my card. Call store, store tells me talk to corporate. Call corporate, file a claim. Corporate does investigayion. Employee claims item wasn't returned. A MONTH LATER. Claim gets denied! They recharge me $21.33. Bank account was at $0 and because my account was at $0. I get charged 3 overdraft fees. I'm now at $128 in the negative all because the target employee couldn't properly return an item through the computer system. Over a pair of $19.99 los angeles dodgers slides that did not fit. Went to Target on Monday afternoon hoping for it to be lonely and saw that they blocked off the cashiering area and I had to walk all the way around which was a bit weird. I'm also concerned as to why THIS TARGET doesn't mandate a mask covering in store but the one in SLO does when we are in a purple tier zone. Total Target head over here! There is nothin I love more than sipping Starbucks and aimlessly wandering the isles and filling my cart with things that I really don't need! Yes that being said, I have such a hard time with the new remodel. Nothing is where I would think it would be. That being said, the staff is beyond helpful.
