We prefer this Target location because of it's easier access. It's right on Bayou Boulevard and also close to other shops in the strip mall. The store is never crowded even during holidays and weekends. The aisles are wide and the shelves were neatly stocked with merchandise. I have been going to the Bayou Blvd Target in Pcola for the past 20+ years and over the past year, the stores cleanliness and organization has declined SIGNIFICANTLY. I don't know if it's been under new management this past year or not, but the store is a complete mess (especially the shoe and clothing department). My daughter and I were there today and there was a store wide odor (vomit like) that was practically overwhelming. This store used to be nice and clean and you could find things that you were looking for easily and now it's borderline gross. It's embarrassing. Decent Target. I think they're in the middle of revamping their store, so they're in the works. They're currently building a Starbucks to the right, as soon as you walk into the store. While walking around, there were many associates putting together the juniors' and women's section. I think once construction and the sections are complete, this Target will be better. read more

I went there to buy some baby essentials since I'm due next week, I was in a rush, I was amazed on how organized the store was, I decided to buy a nursing chair on the spot but they didn't have the price tag on, thankfully one of the staff, Corey approached to me and help me find the prices, he checked the inventory and found out they had one chair left in stock, he went to find it , Corey also helped me cashing it out and went all the way to help me get the heavy box inside my van. That's service that goes above and beyond, I can tell there's a great costumer-oriented culture in this store and will be my go-to from now on. read more

I tried reaching out to corporate through multiple methods (bbb, email, chat, twitter, etc) and THEY WILL NOT CALL ME BACK OR RESPOND, shows they are ok with this behavior & emotionally hurting a customer for no reason: I was in Alexa's checkout lane today at target. I had a mastectomy/reconstruction surgery 2 days ago so I am unable to life anything but I needed some items so my husband took me out for the first time since surgery. He placed our basket on the checkout belt and went 2 aisles over to grab a drink. The lady in front of us finished her transaction and Alexa looked at me and told me I have to empty the basket to be checked out. I said I just had a mastectomy surgery and can't lift anything but my husband will be right back. She rolled her eyes and looked at the lady that just checked out and they chuckled and started at me. I wanted to cry my eyes out. After saying that and then laughing, Alexa said she'll just wait for my husband to empty the basket instead of helping me. I've never heard of casheir not being allowed to empty a basket for a customer, especially after they say they can't do it for a medical reason. She continued to belittle me through our whole interaction, as if I've never used a card machine or cell phone (to scan my barcode). This experience being my first one out since surgery was terrible and cause severe emotional distress, anxiety, and Humiliation. We were hestitant to complain wondering if Alexa is trying to get fired to get on unemployment. I will NEVER shop at target again and will share this story with everyone, hoping to make it viral to show what kind of people work there. I understand it's hard to find people that work, but one person can ruin the whole companies reputation and people will remember a story such as this anytime their picking where to shop. Nobody should be judged, belittled or humiliated for having a surgery and needing my husbands help to lift items. You should be ashamed to have this woman working for you! Almost a week after this incident, nobody has reached out and unfortunately I'm on bed rest for trying to do too much after that incident. This Target is very hidden and discreet and is honestly never that busy. Overall the staff was very helpful and generous. I will say that using the Target app really helped most of the items I need to find and the employees always encourage customers to use the cartwheel and to save money. The only thing I see as a problem is how the street sign out by the road it's hard to spot behind some oak trees which makes it hard to see when trying to turn in. I routinely come here for the things I need for school. Prices are standard and inventory is great. They've saved me a few times! If you're looking for "that great target clearance" experience, you probably won't find it at this store. Clearance is few and far between. The one exception I would make to that statement would be the shoe department. I forgot my closed toed shoes for my chem lab and they had a killer shoe clearance area. The fitting rooms aren't gender neutral, which I respected, but since I put my foot on the dividing line when I was leaning on the wall I had an older woman screech at me for trying to "sneak" into the fitting rooms. My husband asked for my opinion on a pair of jeans. I was leaning against a wall. Neither of us were sneaking anything anywhere. Ended up buying the jeans but won't ever be back. This Target is my favorite for picking up supplies and quick trips for things. It is clean and neat, and the employees are always helpful. I know a few cashiers by face because I go often and they are friendly to me. One issue I have is with the electronics department. Sometimes I have to look around for help there; or the one employee is dealing with several other customers. Maybe they need to get another employee to help with that area. I do like their prices on certain foods too like Kashi cereal or ice cream - they often are better than the grocery store. read more

I'm irritated that I cannot return it to TarZHAY, that I have to put it in the mail. Luster One Hour White IS: Waste O' Time. I followed the instructions to a tee. I'm a nurse, so I'm fairly competent at healthcare related procedures. First, running back and forth to the bathroom every two minutes to swish, paint, dry, light, wait - is a flaming nuisance. Holding a mini flashlight up to your mouth not only LOOKS like you are waiting for the Mothership to send messages to your embedded microchip, it makes you feel like a moron around family members passing by who point and laugh. By the eighth time you have rinsed and repeated, you *are* ready to be beamed up, where the aliens don't give a rip how white your teeth are. Me, I got tired of holding the white handled, downward curved light, so I stretched it around my lips, where it hung, making me look for the muse for John Lennon when he wrote "I Am the Walrus." But I I didn't care. I didn't want 'pearly whites.' I wanted Himalayan blizzard white - which is what the floating mouth has on the box. Except with Himlayan blizzard white, they don't mention that they also deliver Himalayan blizzard COLD to the t-t-t-t-teeth. Which is odd, since the manufacturer proudly squeals 'No Sensitivity!" Well, that's ok, since it's a money back guarantee. HA! Everyday is April Fool's here at Luster White! You pay shipping costs to return the product and you lose out on any taxes you paid. Hmmm. That's doesn't quite add up to 100%. But everybody knows walruses can't drive to the post office anyhow, most likely Luster White is going to make off with a bunch of Benjamins and leave you hanging! [with a 'whitening' light hanging out of your mouth] Shalom, Luster! My teeth and I will be heading over to Crest Whitening Strips or to Planet Xevona, whichever comes first! Always a favorite place to shop for typical things you need. The place is always clean and the employees are generally pretty helpful. I like it when employees will take the time to help you find an item. The overall prices are on par with most other department stores. The new food department is nice when you need something and don't want to have to go to the grocery store. The only negative thing is it is sometimes hard to find find an employee to help with something, more so in the electronic section. A designated person would be great. Other than that, the store is great. I would recommed Target shopping cart app to save a little bit here and there. Customer service was mediocre. Drove 12 miles one way to this store for a tv on sale. The website said they had it in stock. After going to the electronics department the associate went to the back. He returned after 15 minutes with 4 other items and not the tv, stating there were no more left. It would have been fine if they didn't have it, I could go to another store or order it but don't keep someone waiting 15 minutes for an item you don't have. read more

What a rip-off! I purchased a gift card in December for a family member and they were told the card is not activated. To make matters worse, the card # on the receipt is for a card that was used 3 days prior to my purchase in another state! I went in fully expecting them to make it right, but was told it would be turned over to security and I would be contacted. Guess what? No contact. I called back and got a run around again! I need to find out the name of the District Manager or someone who can help me get my money back! What a shameful way to treat a customer:( read more
