The store is a good place to find gifts for the holidays. I saw lots of Halloween decor and toys and bikes for children. They carry a lot of random things like bed linen, kitchen appliances, tvs, home decor, toys etc. You really need to take your time and shop for the bargains because it depends on how long something has been on the shelf to get good markdowns. The tags on each item will reflect when it was put on the shelf. My daughter got a floor lamp and an airfryer. The Cuisinart airfryer was only $99. I paid $199.00 about 2 years ago for the same airfryer. These items are leftovers, overstock, and discounted items. There are no returns or refunds, so make sure you want whatever you purchase. One nice thing, if you're buying any electronics, they will take it out of the box and test it for you, making sure you're satisfied before you buy it. They get a lot of their items from Target and Best Buys and big box stores like that. I think it was worth the trip and plan on going again soon!

Was told that "the one dress should not be washed but the only way to remove odor is to wash it" and that the other dress is dry clean only (but then why did it still smell after I gave it to you to dry clean??). Was then told it would be $20 EXTRA to re-do the dresses and I couldn't pick them up for 2 days. I was beyond shocked and upset at this. When I picked them up the second time, dresses were FINALLY clean but the lady had the audacity to tell ME that "next time make sure to look at the inside label." Why would you as the dry cleaner not look at the labels yourselves to determine how the clothes should be tended to? Anyway, will not be coming back.

Again, this isn't $5-10, this was almost $200. They researched and said it would be refunded in 7-10 (that's their favorite numbers) days. No expediting, no we will fedex it to you because we F'd up and would like to keep your business, nope... We will send it snail mail. 2 weeks later it's still not here. Oh, when I asked about them doing something to compensate for their mistake they sent me a 25% off coupon that can't be used on 90% of stuff in the store. Customer service for these clowns must be run by Mrs. Lippy's 3rd Grade History class. Why do we have to do so much legwork to get you to fix something you totally screwed up?? Unless you hate yourself, don't shop here.

My wife and I stopped at this location to get ideas for decorating our new home in Doylestown. All there product was organized and neatly on display, which helped my wife and I choose our decor fast and simple. Coming from California, we never lived close near one. They have high end hand crafted items as well as very inexpensive general product. The lines are the only reason i took one star off. Maybe because its the holiday season but they should know to put more cashiers on, you would think. read more

I had previously reviewed this store as being quite average, and found it hard to imagine why…read moreanyone would shop there. I stand by some of the specifics I mentioned, but now, about a dozen visits later, I understood where I was wrong, and *how* Grocery Outlet is a regular money saving stop for me now. One thing I touched on in the original review was comparison pricing against Walmart. I still believe that in about half the cases, if something Grocery Outlet has is also available at Walmart, it'll be cheaper at Walmart. But, conversely, about half the items will be cheaper at Grocery Outlet. It's also true that some products are closer to their "best by" date at Grocery Outlet, but that almost always results in it being drastically cheaper. I think the methodology to use when visiting Grocery Outlet, is to make it your *first* stop, with the understanding that you will be picking up select items there, and then also stopping somewhere else (yes - the savings are big enough to justify the cost of driving elsewhere). I now know the items that are regularly less expensive at Grocery Outlet, and I also know that there are going to be fantastic deals on spontaneous discoveries that will easily substitute for something that will be more expensive elsewhere. For example, frozen pizza, frozen meals, and snacks, are now things I buy exclusively at Grocery Outlet. The store is well maintained, more so than I first reported, and the employees are friendly and helpful - especially once you get to know them. And lastly, but no less important, you're supporting a family operated business. Now, I am a regular and happy shopper at Grocery Outlet.
