My mother and brother can attest to how I am addicted I am to Target... I cannot get away from Target if my life depended on it! So it makes me sad that this Target does not meet my expectations at ALL but I still frequent this one because it's close to my place. SELECTION: NO BUENO... every time I drop in to buy either everyday home stuff or random groceries, it's empty shelves everywhere! I've dropped by on weekdays AND on weekends and it's always lacking in its' selection. If you want a better stocked Target, try the Pasadena Targets...I swear, you'll be like a little kid in a candy store. CLEANLINESS: Could seriously be better! This is a huge shout-out for Maria & Joe at the Rosemead Target! I was looking for a particular piece of baby furniture & wondering if I should just get it from Target.com & wait for delivery. The problem was Mrs. C & the baby really needed this rocking chair, and I had already called Alhambra Target (didn't have it) and Pasadena Old Town (didn't have it). Just for fun, I stopped by the Rosemead Target with Mrs. C and showed her the floor sample. Maria was nice to help me, found out that there was 1 in the back, wheeled it out for me on a flat dolly, and rang me up. Then, she asked Joe to help me put it in my car. The entire box definitely would not fit in my sedan, BUT we decided to take rocking chair & ottoman out piece by piece, and it worked! I assembled it at home. Joe made sure to check the box about 3 different times, just to make sure that I didn't miss any instructions, assembly hardware, or an important pieces of paper. This was just terrific customer service, and I make to make sure these guys get the proper credit. Thank you, Maria & Joe! This Target sell more stuff than the on in Alhambra, actually sell grocery which price are quite good, saw some article said average price in Target is cheaper than Walmart, is probably true for their grocery. You could find pretty good price in some item that don't needs to go on sale. Good return policy at one time purchased a camera, would prefer shop here over Walmart. read more

Did you know that different Target's price things a bit differently?.. I had no idea about this until one of the workers at the Alhambra location told me! With that said, I decided to visit this one in Rosemead today after finding out about the differences in pricing! PRICING... The only prices that are static or unchanged between stores are those featured in the weekly AD. Now what are some of the differences I've found.. -Clearance items are marked off between 15% to 70% off or even 90% if it's seasonal. Every store makes their "mark downs" on the same day but the percentage may be different. For example, I found some C9 shirts at the Alhambra location for $9 but over in Rosemead they were $11. Another example, they had Merona boxers for $4 but in Alhambra they're only $2! -Regular priced items are also different between store to store! We went shopping with my neighbor and she bought Biotene mouth wash for $12 but it was only $10 at this location! Another example, the Nivea body wash is $3.99 here but at Alhambra it's $5.99 - a TWO dollar difference. SERVICE... The workers here are always very nice and pleasant. Any time that I have asked for help, they usually go above and beyond. The nice thing about this Target is that they rarely run out of stuff.. I remember going to the Alhambra location three days in a row to look for the Simply Cranberry juice but they never had it. This location ALWAYS has it. I've even had trouble with their self check out machines - three times in about ten minutes... Manager apologized profusely and even issued me a $3 coupon off next purchase! PARKING... This has always been my "Go To" Target since I was a little kid. This Target is located on the corner of Rosemead Blvd. and Marshall St. It's found inside the Rosemead Square shopping center. The location is LARGE and plentiful. You can find practically anything at Target, and its a nice alternative to Walmart. The prices are fair and reasonable, and the store is very diverse. All the staff are friendly and helpful. What more can I say!? The parking lot is HUGE and plentiful. It's a huge lot, as well as a parking structure. I've never had any issues with parking here... EVER (even during Black Friday). Overall, check this Target out if you're every in need of anything :) read more

Have you seen the dollar section at this location? It is awesome! Most Target stores have their own discount section with different and cheap goodies, but the one at Rosemead has an amazing selection filled with loads of useful and funny stuff. From my last haul, I got a double 3" photo frame for a dollar, a whiteboard and a corkboard for $2.50 each, and some New Years novelty items for a buck each. Sure it isn't the best of quality, but the items are sufficient for the money you are forking out for them. The store itself is pretty gigantic with plentiful parking. They have a decent music and good Blu-ray selection. Every so often, you might get lost in the store's layout, but that is not as bad as it sounds. I always spend a decent amount of money here, despite being so close to the Walmart on Walnut. The selection here is worlds better than the Alhambra location. read more

This is my go-to Target since it's the closest location from my place. It usually has the things I need but if I'm looking for something specific or a specific size, online ordering is easy. Parking is never an issue, guest service lines are fast, photo dept is easy, & they always have enough check out lines available. I will also say that every Employee I have encountered here has been very helpful. None of that lazy bs of them not wanting to help. I truly believe that Target really trains their Staff to have exceptional customer service skills. I deducted 1 star which I feel that I should deduct more but I love Target! This particular Target has the worst bathrooms I have ever seen in my life! I rather pop a squat on the streets of skid row. One time I walked in and I was gagging so hard that my eyes were watering and I was seconds away from throwing up. Oh Target, how I forget you exist sometimes! I don't go to Target much-- I don't buy clothes here (Thrift shops, ho!). I don't buy food here (Asian markets, ho!) I don't buy electronics here (Too broke for anywhere, ho!). I'm not sure what I really buy here, but this time when I came into Target I ended up buying some flavored drink mix and... I think that was about it. Overall, there is a wide selection of stuff to walk around and look at. It's quite fun, if you know what I mean. They also have food items, toys, etc. The nice thing about this Target was the employee who checked me out... er, he didn't check me out like, "hey baby" but like... checked out my boxes of flavored water. ANYWAY-- he was super friendly and nice which is really unlikely to find as most people who work at such places look miserable. A nice change to see! DRINK MIX TIP: Do not buy pineapple flavor. What are you thinking? You think that it will taste good? No. It tastes like Pineapple. Don't do it. Even if you like real pineapples. Don't. PARKING TIP: It suuuuuuuuucks to park here when it's in the late evening. Just listen to your favorite song and drive around in circles while you try to hunt for a spot. read more

So I saw a butter dish. Sale price marked at .99. I checked the priced myself because I thought it was weird. But the whole aisle was on sale. So I didn't think anything of it. While in line I notice they have a price accuracy notice. So I told the cashier nicely about what had happened and then asked about the policy. Some lady (which looked like Gary Busey) came and said that it rung up as 7.99 ad tried to walk away. I told her that there was an advertisement for it to be .99. She was very rude and catches an attitude. So she asked where, and I told her by kitchen section. She came back and she was furious. BUT they honored their policy. So this is my go to Target location and for the most part. I really prefer this location over all of the other ones that I have been to in the SGV. I drive past it on a regular basis and it has easy freeway access. There is plentiful parking. The parking lots are well lit for night time shopping. There is also a parking structure, but I have never felt the need to park in it as the lots are plentiful. The return area is just inside the door and its easy to return an item if you have your receipt or credit card that it was purchased with, within 90 days of purchase. They also accept non working items so you don't have to bother sending them back to the manufacturer. The store is set up in the typical fashion so you should be able to find anything easily in the entire store. I was very happy when target went to this layout in all of their stores. It makes finding stuff in foreign stores soooo easy! The best deals are always on the endcaps away from the main aisle for most items. I always skim through the end caps of clearance stuff, as sometimes things are 70-90% off and they are just dumping stock. The staff here is fairly friendly and helpful. I haven't ever had a real issue while here and my daughter loves roaming around the toys, sports stuff, candy, and clothes... Perhaps I will see you here sometime :D read more

I LOVE Target, but they need to do something about their level of customer service. I have visited this target twice in the last couple of months while the target closer to my house is being remodeled. Most Target stores I shop at the service is fine, but the workers are just the most miserable people I have encountered. They always keep their heads down while they work praying that no customers will ask them a question. Management is always pleasant and say hi. Today I was getting in line to pay and the girl who was ringing people up had the biggest fuchi face. I get it.. I've worked retail for YEARS, so trust me when I say I know how frustrating it can be to work with the public, but dang girl fake it until you make it. Large Target but some staff members especially at the checkout seem to be going through those paces that they wish they would clock out. Lines move a bit slow but it's because some of us customers buy 20-25 items on just a 2/3 item trip to the store. Then you factor the slow cashier, well that's just my observation. Workout clothes are expensive; even the clearance items are sometimes more than I'm willing to spend on clothes that I WILL sweat in. Here is a tip, I check out the kids clearance items. Sure it says XXL but hey, it fits and covers the bits and it is under $5! Can you say HELL YEAH?!?! I came in today looking to buy E some clothes for when she decides to show herself to the world. I love Target and I always go to this one since it's nearby. Their prices are definitely a little bit higher than Walmart but sometimes they do have stuffs on sales though! What I love most is that the line is not as bad as Walmart. It could be crowded at times but it's not 1 year of waiting like Walmart! And it just feels cleaner at Target for some reasons....? The gal on the phone told me they do have it in back of the warehouse. She told me just come to the customer service and it will be there. I came in and it was Charlene helping me once again. How many people does it take to put in a discount code? Apparently 3 at this Target. The fiance and I went around various Targets to get the Coppola Sofia Reisling. I know. Of all places, Target. It was sold out everywhere we went. They only sell one box at a time to retailers. This Rosemead had the most available and we went to two other Targets already to buy out the merchandise. We went to the wine section and saw that if you buy 6 bottles or more of ANY wine you get 10% off. Make sure you tell the teller (or at this location, the manager's manager). We go to check-out and my fiance tells the checker there's a discount. He didn't know anything about it and asked my fiance more than once, is there a discount? He asked the manager who went to check on it. She went to the back of customer service and I swear she was gone for at least 2 minutes. Just run to the wine section! My fiance was really tempted to run someone over there just so we can get out. Luckily, the checker turned off his light so no one else had to wait for us. While we were waiting, my fiance tried to be good natured and ask if the checker if he knew about the discount. At one point, I seriously thought he was SLOW as in mentally disabled. Nope, he just acted like he didn't care, saying, oh I don't drink so I don't know (care). The last Target we went to in Pasadena, my fiance told the checker and she knew immediately what the discount was and gave it to us in seconds. It's all manual! You don't even need a special code or permission. The manager came back with ANOTHER manager. So you need THREE people to figure out there's a discount? If we knew this was going to happen, we would've taken a picture of the label IN THE WINE SECTION to get out of there faster. How do some people get hired?!?!? There needs to be better consistency throughout all the Targets. It's not a franchise! ADVICE: if you buy 6 or more bottles, ask for the 10% discount (not sure if it's temporary or permanent) & make sure you get it! read more

This is a good Target. My friends don't like it for some reason but it's close by and pretty big. It has the same stuff as other Targets AND!!! It's close to the Dollar Tree. That is what makes this place a WIN. DollarTree. SERVICE: Standard... I came here late at night once and they were really nice. Ack, they're renovating! Suddenly the baby department is huge! It seems like it takes up half the store. Who's having all these babies?? There were drop cloths around the side of the store so I suppose they're painting. My coworker wears a lot of Target clothes that I think are cute. This Target does not carry such cute clothing. I'd skip. Their handbags are okay and the $1 section isn't too trashed. They need to hire more people though. Only four cashiers on a busy night? There were long lines, screaming kids and a tired me. At least a cashier opened up while I was in line and I managed to bum rush it but I don't know about these cashiers not know how to use the reusable Target bags I purchased specifically to curb my Target spending (I have two so I cannot buy anything that doesn't fit in those bags-- er, with the exception of big items like laundry detergent, paper towels, TP, etc). I still don't understand why they try to fit my big ol' jug of laundry detergent into one of their red bags. Seriously, Target, train your workers! I'm also slightly upset I bought two bottles of eye makeup remover and charged me $.30 more for one. What the hell? Why does it have a different SKU for the same product? She is a bully and smirks when you walk away empty handed. The managers are incompetent and are not fit to work here. Of all the Targets I have been to in So Cal this may be my favorite. It IS just a Target, so why so special? It's clean, well stocked, fully staffed and I have yet to wait in a line longer than 1 person when checking out. Oh and did I mention it's 1/4 a mile from where I work? Perfect for picking up around-the-house items without having to deal with the crowd that is attracted at my local Target close to home. It sounds like this Target used to have issues including renovations and long lines, but in my opinion those issues no longer exist. If you take this Target on its own, it's not bad. It's really convenient to get to, has what Target has, and you can get in and get out. There's a Cold Stone down the way! They have a truly decent selection as far as clothes, and don't tend to run out of smalls/mediums as fast as other stores. I have never had any serious issues with this store. I have fun there! I enjoy my visits! If you compare this Target to basically any other Target ever, you will quickly realize it kinda sucks. I love Target but this store finally got to me. I tried to buy a game here (Infinity 3.0 Star Wars Starter Pack), it was going to be a gift for my niece but the packaging was damaged. They scanned the box and said there were more available around the store but no one made an effort to help me find one. One of their associate told me to bring it up to Guest services and they would be able to help me out. So I went waited in line and talk to them..... but they were no help. Ended up wasting 30 minutes of my time. Guest Services wouldn't help me find another one or discount it. Definitely a poor experience. On other occasions I've schedule store pick up at this location but was left waiting 20 - 30 minute for them to pick the item (this is after it was confirmed ready for pick up) This was the Target closest to my house so I suffered through it.... but no more. I had to head over to El Monte for a quick business meeting. On the drive over, I realized I was quite underdressed (polo and blue jeans). The usual dress code for this type of meeting is suit and tie, but it was my day off (and I was solo) so I didn't bother. On the drive over though, I was beginning to have second thoughts. It was early in the morning on a weekday. I needed something quick, cheap, and open. I had never been to El Monte so I had no idea where anything was. Luckily, along the way, Target was both viewable from the freeway and open. Getting to it was a little tricky because it was tucked behind a whole mini-mall of stores. Still, I finally I got there, and I picked up something cheap that served its purpose for the day. Of course, I was greeted with a surprise when I finally showed up for my meeting. Anyone who knows me, knows that I love coming to Target to shop. This particular Target, brings back so much childhood memories since I used to come here a lot when I was younger. Anyways, I stopped coming to the Rosemead Target because I feel like there's never anything in stock and that everything is a mess here. Comparing this Target to the one in East Pasadena and Alhambra, the Rosemead Target is the most unorganized Target I have ever seen. The clothing section is not always stocked up and is a mess trying to find a particular size or clothing. The cosmetic section has everything misplaced and opened containers, which I find very unsanitary. And my favorite part is the shoe section, where all the shoes are not in their boxes and that all sorts of shoes are thrown here and there. Although some people may not buy things, appearance always matters first. Save yourself a trip and either buy online or visit another Target. read more

However, when I discovered this target, I noticed the drastic price differences compared between all the other targets. For example, Covergirl's 3-1 foundation costs $10-$12 at other drugstores and Targets while at this Target, it costs $7.99. Tip: Make sure you download to app Cartwheel to save even more! One of my favorite Targets around the area. This one is not super fancy, and it's been here for a long time, so the store isn't exactly as nice as the newly built stores. However, this store gets the job done. The parking is great - you'll never have a hard time finding a spot. And there's also a covered parking lot to the left of the store for those sunny, hot days. I've noticed that the prices at this Target is cheaper than the one in Pasadena. This store is often fully stocked as well. The downsides would probably be that there's no Starbucks, the bathrooms are often dirty, and this Target is always crowded, no matter what time of the day it is. It's crowded on the weekdays and the line can get pretty crazy on weekend evenings. read more
