She checked me thoroughly and also asked me what treatments have worked in the past. It was nice to see that a doctor trusted that I might actually know somehting about my own body after 40+ years. We discussed a plan of action, she sent the prescriptions to my pharmacy and before I could drive across town they were ready and waiting for pick-up. I had a follow-up appointment two months later so we could discuss how the program was working and if any changes needed to be made. I requested a few changes and she agreed. I did not feel strung along with additional appointments. If you are unsure of what YOUR INSURANCE is not going to cover you should contact them in advance and let them know what you are going to see the doctor for. They can provide you with a quote. Be pro-active and you are more likely to save yourself some money and definitely have better overall health. Your doctor is your health advocate, not GOD. She takes her time and never rushes me out, she listens and even remembers previous conversations. She also knows her stuff, I'm so impressed with the amount of knowledge she has about so many different issues. I think she must go home and read medical books instead of watching tv! Dr. Malhi is a bad doctor that is only interested in extracting as much cash as possible from his "patients" (or "marks" as fraudsters call them).
