When I confronted the principal she brushed it off and didn't help the situation at all. I ended up removing my son due to bullying after many long months of going back and forth on how to handle the situation. In the end, the best solution was taking him out. Now, he's doing amazing. His teacher which I will not name was having a bad day and proceeded to tell my son and a few ither boys they would never be anything, amount to anything, and whatever they wanted to be it wouldnt happen. I confronted the principal. The teacher called me to apologize (which I have on audio) she admitted what she had done. Said sorry and that was it. The principal felt I was making an issue that in her words was "done". "Resolved" but I was upset and so was my son.all because this teacher apologized. I shared the audio of what this teacher said to the principal Her admitting to her unkind words. I tried to be understanding due to her situation. A personal one.and what I received back was how I should be happy with an apology. Looking back, I was treated like it didnt matter. This school is mediocre at best. If youre part of a click and PTA this is right up your alley . for those Looking to be treated equal, look else where. They deleted my post I shared on Facebook recently. I will continue to post how they handled the situation. Which was pushed under the rug. It is tempting to release the audio because its not right to talk to a student that way and to make a parent feel they are making a big out of nothing. Services feel like a time warp back to the 1980s before wide-spread use of computers.
