TASCHEN BOOKS Beverly Hills a French bestseller in English

NYC artist, Julian Schnabel art book is a collector's edition Numbered & Signed, limited 1000 copies only!

One of the best art book store in town. I've been a customer for ten plus years and Taschen has not disappoint. Taschen also has another location at the Farmer's Martket at Fairfax and 3rd. Please keep in mind that this is a book publisher's book store. Nothing wrong with that, just keep in mind they only sell books published by Taschen. If you're ok with this, then you will have a pleasant experience. Regardless, Taschen is one of the best art book publisher in the world. Their books are gorgeously printed with the best paper selection and lithographic press reproduction quality and technology. Taschen publishes some of the most exclusive titles and most comprehensive artists body of work from standard book sizing to gigantic XL, XXL or SUMO book sizes and the presentation is nothing less than astounding. Taschen also offers exclusive limited edition releases that are some of the best art books ever published and they are worth the money, if you're a collector of rare first edition and signed art books. You will love their offerings. They always managed to publish and present their releases with meticulous and gorgeous book covers, clamshell, etc. Such exemplary executions of their titles always compliment the artists' body of work perfectly and sumptuously. Their exclusive titles always sells out and is sought after worldwide by collectors. Taschen also publishes regular non-exclusive edition that are more affordable for the budget concious art book lovers. Definitely a great destination for any book worm. But a must for art book lovers. Happy reading and collecting!!

Ran into Taschen walking up Beverly Drive waiting for friends prior to dinner. Taschen is a long narrow bookstore with a great collaboration of artsy type books. Not much books for reading. Lots of books with photographs, art, architecture. They have a few books on display that are 3 feet tall. Cool place to check out. Don't know about the service. No one really said much to me. This place closes early, 7 PM.

Love this store ! Such great customer service! I recently went to look for a gift for my coworker and the lady took a long time to find me the perfect book - it was so perfect just what I was hoping to find Came back for more book gifts ! So unique finds and beautiful wrapped ! The Dali Tarrot book wow awesome Gift !Thank you so much . Danke schön :)

I came here for a book sale and got some great stuff for 50% off. There's just something about the tactile nature of books that can not be replaced. This is not a library or Barne's and Noble, so if you're looking for books to read you will be disappointed. If you love flipping through the colorful pages of photography, architecture, and design books, this is the place. They have a smaller store at the Grove, but with a much smaller collection.

I have been to this Barnes & Noble so many times in the past and keep forgetting to write a review…read moreon them. This is a one-stop book store for all your needs. They have a vast selection of books from fiction to non-fiction, bibles, covers of bibles, cookbooks, celebrity books, autobiography, trend magazines along with other magazines.. wall to wall all the way in the back. They have a big selection of children's books too. Prices vary depending what you buy. They used to sell CD's too. Have bought few in the past. They have a little corner when you walk in to your right that sell gifts, knick knack stuff that are practical, beautiful, and unique. I have purchased few in the past. Walked in yesterday and got a warm, friendly hello from couple of their employees. They were eager to help me and see what I was looking for. I needed a few cookbooks, couple of celebrity books that always captures my attention and I was lucky enough that they had what I was looking for. If they don't have it, they will order it for you. Once it arrives, you will get an email, a text or a phone call from them to go and pick it up. Don't forget to use your 10% discount at the front. You have to be a member of the store. Store is BIG, clean, nicely organized alphabetically according to what you are looking for. All aisles are easy to navigate and it's pretty quiet in there which I love. They even have few armchairs to sit down and read a book. Great store..hands down!! Parking in the back shared with few other businesses. One gender neutral restroom and it is ALWAYS clean. Have used it few times. Thank you Barnes & Noble, all employees for your loyalty, dedication and always being kind and willing to help. Appreciated.

Got me some children's books and a non-fiction book, kind of a reading challenge as I'm sadly very occupied with my smartphone. And it's refreshing to see a whole wall of magazines. Every month, if you buy a children's book, you can buy a featured, popular kids' book for $9.99. I took advantage and love the amusing, heavily discounted "Mother Bruce". Many gift options as well- LP's, Legos, journals, mugs, candles, puzzles and stuffed animals, though they are overpriced. The store is in what looks like a converted theater. A big plus is the huge parking lot in the back, for the whole block. Really appreciate having a large, clean brick and mortar bookstore to immerse yourself in.

What a gem of a bookstore…read more Local hangout for Westsiders with tonssss of books, a café, lots of seating, and a children's section. They hold different events as well. I love that they have early hours even on weekends for those of us still up at 7am no matter what. I placed copies of my books there, including a recent title that had been in the store for less than six months. When I followed up, I was told there had been no recorded sales and that books are subject to removal after a period of time without activity. When I returned to the store, I noticed that much of the "local author" section appeared sparsely stocked, which raised concerns for me about how long books are kept on display and how actively they are supported. To be fair, the store did communicate that: Authors are responsible for following up on sales Shelf space is limited Books may be removed after a certain period However, I think it's important for other local authors to understand that: Placement does not guarantee visibility or promotion You may need to actively check in and market your book yourself Unsold books may be pulled without much notice If you're considering consignment, I recommend having a clear plan to promote your work and staying in regular contact with the store. Just sharing my experience so others go in with clear expectations.
