Sallie's offers a full list of flavors, many you won't find at most ice cream shops. After much thought I decided on banana and sweet corn with chocolate shell on the banana only. My friend got cinnamon, which was on my short list and a chocolatey chocolate chip cookie dough. My banana ice cream was obviously made with real bananas and the sweet corn was a midwest dream with corn pieces and the right amount of sweetness. The employees were fun to talk to, incredibly nice and helpful. To top it all off sprinkles were free! Find this place when you're in Madison. It will make your day.

If you need an extra item for the celebration the store carries candles, tumblers, decorated napkins and more. These options are also available with online orders. They had a refrigerated area in the lobby, which I assume holds cakes available for same day purchase (for when the crave hits without an advance order). We ordered the cake that served 8-10 people - and it did. All the family attending the birthday dinner got a slice and a couple took seconds. The icing is thick and sweet.
