Donut case
Van D.

This donut shop in southeast Visalia is a hot spot and the product goes quickly in the morning. The owners could not be more lovely. The area is frequented by homeless and often times you'll see them but they're always treated respectfully. Even if there is a line they work swiftly to get you in and out. The donuts plus plus are great. Plus plus is smoothies, cronuts, danishes, ham and cheese and spicy sausage pastries and bagels! A plethora for sure! They have a case with juices and milks and all the go to essentials. A small lil coffee bar with sugar and creamer is also available. You get great service and you support local! A win win!

Wanted to get some breakfast to enjoy out in Sequoia with the family. When we walked in the lady in the front greeted us and was super sweet! We enjoyed this mom and pop shop! kind of reminded me of our donut & bagel shop back in Monterey. Ham & cheese croissants were 5/5 , Thai tea boba was a 3 had great flavor but tapioca balls were a bit too had, glazed donuts were amazing!

Breakfast menu and drinks

We are from out of state and found this lovely donut shop. Loved it and the lady was very patient while awaited for my husband to text me while he chose between a coffee or smoothie. Their croissant are bigger and so soft.

A dozen is only 15 dollars!!

They are very sweet people! The ambiance is amazing! And the donuts are delicious!! I recommend this place 100/10!!

Picture says more than words. But if I had to say something; "Delicious."

We love coming here for Donuts. The biggest AppleFritter we've ever gotten! We got it from here. Very fluffy donuts, they have the softest bite with a light inside. Glazed are my favorite and by far the best. Have something for everyone. Put a decent amount of filling in the jelly/cream filled donuts. Don't skip on the donut holes and they have cronuts!! So good! Besides donuts they also sell blended drinks, and Yoo-hoo tucked away in the fridge next to the door, "if you're a fan of it." I am, so what a fun find! You really can't go wrong with the choices, staff is amazing! Super friendly and so thoughtful!

Cronuts were fack, it was a donut with 4 or 5 layers double glazed (gross) and no filling. It was over rate round donut and over priced.

I've definitely been coming here since the beginning, thanks to my mom! It's stood out from the very beginning & I love how much they have expanded. There's something for everyone on their men. I think they have some of the best matcha's around (but if you drink your matcha with LOTS of sweetener.. you probably won't like a real matcha from here) -- I say this bc people complain that it taste like GRASS... and well, it damn near is (green tea leaves) lol -- all jokes aside, their drinks and food are all hand crafted and all made and / or roasted in house! I have not once ever had a complaint about this place. I love the ambience inside and out. Plenty of spaces to work from (one of my fav spots) Service is always ask expected for hand crafted drinks and food! The workers are always very knowledgeable about their menu items & products, love that! Their pop tarts... if you can get them when they have them.. TRY THEM OUT!! Actually, all their pastry's and breakfast items are delicious! (I just always forget to take pictures) haha I will always come here for food/homemade pastries , a drink or to work!

You find it because someone told you about it, or because you were looking for a place that feels a little more city than Central Valley. Brick walls, hanging art, a patio out front call it rustic, call it urban, call it hipster. Whatever the word is, it fits. Inside, the place hums. Not the quiet hum of a sleepy café, but the full‑volume buzz of people who treat coffee shops like co‑working spaces. The whole back section was a sea of laptops when I walked in, a slow tide of remote workers drifting out as the hour passed. Young folks, older folks, groups talking over each other a mix that tells you this spot has become a kind of community hub, even if the noise makes it hard to read without noise‑canceling buds. I came for a simple moment, a London Fog and a book. The tea was good, made with Rishi, a brand I'd never heard of but wouldn't mind trying again. I sipped it slowly, trying to sink into the page, but the chatter kept pulling me back to the room. Not a bad thing, just not the right place for quiet reflection. Some cafés are built for solitude; this one is built for motion. The staff was friendly, your standard modern barista crew, casual, quick, and easygoing. They run a tight operation, even offering mobile orders, something you usually see in bigger industrial coffee spots. Pastries, sandwiches, teas, espresso, the menu covers all the bases. Finding the entrance was its own adventure. Two doors, a divider in the middle, and a moment of "Wait... which side do I go through?" Not a dealbreaker, just one of those quirks that makes you laugh once you figure it out. Lighting is interesting here, low lamps mixed with a flood of natural light pouring in from the center of the shop. It gives the place a warm‑meets‑industrial feel, like a café that grew out of a warehouse and decided to keep the personality. Will I come back? Maybe. It's a great spot for people‑watching, conversation, or getting work done. But for reading, for sinking into a book with a drink, it's a place that demands either silence from the world or silence from your earbuds. Component Coffee Lab is loud, lively, and loved, just not quiet. And maybe that's the point.

Interestingly there was only one employee working when we visited and I watched in amazement as she took orders and prepared everything. Our drinks took 25 minutes to complete and we were the first group in line. *Mochi Donut: there were seasonal flavors and the employee was kind enough to explain the different flavors as the names were a bit abstract. I opted for the spring donut which was white chocolate and matcha. The texture was the best I've tried. Perfectly bouncy in the center with a light exterior. It wasn't too oily nor sweet and the glaze was subtle. Despite the description, I couldn't really differentiate the white chocolate and matcha from a standard glaze. *Spring Fruit Tea: described as a passionfruit and rose tea. Disappointedly, neither flavor was prominent. The tea was steeped well but this was missing some brightness. *Creme Brulee: very sweet but fragrant. This was rich and milky with strong notes of burnt cream. However, we got less sugar for this and it was still too sweet. If there was an option to lower the sugar even more, I would opt for that. The milk based drinks tasted better than the fruit ones. If I was in a rush, I would stick to the donuts but drinks were pretty good if you don't mind the wait.
