Rented a car dolly to move a friends car. Dolly had no usable straps, the last renter had damaged…read morethem. Jerry rigged some straps to move the car and when I returned the dolly, I got a whole 2.5% discount for renting not safe to use car dolly. Don't use Roots rents, and if you do don't trust them that things are good. This dolly was beat up and had no usable straps.

I told my dad we probably needed a ramp and a dolly because the owner said it was heavy. I called Tate's to make sure we didn't need to reserve the items because I wasn't sure exactly how the process worked. I highly suggest calling ahead to make sure they have what you need. The downtown location had what we needed so that call saved us from driving from one location to the next. Once we arrive, we are welcomed by help and assistance. Denver was awesome at answering our questions and getting us what we needed. In no time we were on the road with our ramp and dolly. Two hours later we returned after a successful treadmill move, (the rental was a life and back saver and it didn't bust our wallet) only to decide I wanted to rent an aerator for my lawn. The guys at the yard switched the rental items up, taught me how to use the funny machine and again, we were on our way! Again, after an hour, another successful rental (and about ten pounds lighter, that aerator doesn't mess around hahahah) we brought the rental back to Tate's. Let me just say, everyone that helped us was extremely helpful and friendly. My dad sang Tate's praises all day long saying that he just couldn't believe how wonderful and friendly every one was. I quote my father, "that place was awesome!" So when push comes to shove or just when you need probably just about anything, pop in here and these guys will help get you situated. I love that they have multiple hour rentals so if you only need something for 2 hours, you only pay for two hours. (That is their base rental hour.) Go! Go! Go! Now I am trying to think of chores to do that would involve me renting from Tate's!

Parents beware!! My kids attended a birthday party w/ a water slide bouncer from this company on…read more8/23. Almost all of the kids got Staph lesions on their skin. My kids got fever, sore throat, ear ache then lesions. Our urgent care visit will cost us a couple hundred on top of trying to keep the rest of the family & home healthy. My children attended healthy & left w/ staph incubation. The party host called to question sanitation protocol & her claim was dismissed as could have come from anywhere. Really? All the kids attend a bday party, jump for hours on a bounce house & could have come from anywhere? Mind you none of the parents jumped & we are all healthy. Use common sense when booking them. My children will miss several activities this week & deal w/ itchy painful skin which required oral antibiotics. Sincerely frustrated mama of 3
