I was SUPER excited to take the Bachata class here. In June I made several attempts to get additional information because when I registered I didnt receive confirmation that my registration took. I drove up to the studio during "business" hours and both times there was no one there. I called and no one picked up. I finally got through to the instructor via Facebook she was short and rude in her messages and I had to ask the same question multiple times before getting an answer. I was unable to attend the July session and was planning to attend the August session that happen to start in the middle of July. Unfortunately I had premade plans on the day classes started but I went to the next class only to encounter the instructor who was very rude face to face and informed me that the canceled the entire August class. I would not have known that had I not gone up there as this establishment does not believe in communicating properly and only communicates when they feel it to be convenient to them. Needless to say I was entirely bummed and I will be looking for a different studio for dance lessons. I do understand the instructors frustration, however, I hope that she understands how equally frustrating it is to be a paying customer and having to jump through hoops to get a response from her in order to attend her classes!! I wasnt going by myself we were coming in as a group and all of us experienced the same interaction with her.

It just wasn't what I was looking for. One day, one of these jazz dancers teaching the hip hop class told me about VYB and Demario Henry. Once I took my first class at VYB, I was disappointed in myself for not finding this place sooner! VYB is THE PLACE for adult dance classes in Tampa. They offer a variety of dance styles for beginner, intermediate, and advanced dancers with, in my opinion, some of the best dance teachers in the state of Florida.
