My daughter has had several teachers over the years depending on which classes she took and the staff is amazing! Each take the time to help the children individually and push them at their performance level. Even after a move to Tampa several years ago, I still make the weekly drive to allow my daughter to stay at Victoria's! To respond to the previous person: As with everything, there are reasons behind it. Having been a backstage mom for several years, I can tell you it is impossible to memorize hundreds of students, their parents, and their custody arrangements. They dismiss after the recital by song, with police escort. Only those having a matching wristband to their child is able to pick up the child. The children love being backstage, and it isn't as stressful on the children as it is the parents. The recital process is thoroughly explained when you choose whether or not to participate. It is not mandatory. As far as the fees go: in any extra-curricular activity, there are fees and extras needed aside from program fees. We love it there!

The classes are reasonably relaxed and very kid-friendly with the youngest, letting little ones get introduced to dance in a welcome way. More advanced classes branch off into specific styles and levels of skill, adding to the variety of classes available. These lessons all culminate in the big annual recital in June, where everyone shows off their skills. Additional classes lead to additional costumes and costs though, so just know that it can get expensive. Since I've only got a very little one, I haven't hit any restrictive cost paywalls. But she loves dancing and the classes are so well geared towards her age group that we'll surely be staying for a long time.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with my experience so far. It's also fairly clean, and I like the newer lift area and that Pilates classes are being added. My main concern is that I joined less than a month ago partly because the membership allowed access to multiple locations, but the newer Bloomingdale location closed shortly after I signed up. It would be great if some of the newer equipment from that gym could be moved here. I'd especially like to see upgrades to the cardio machines. Many of them are extremely rusty, and some of the treadmills don't run very smoothly. The locker room could also use a bit of a refresh. Other than that, I don't have major complaints and I'm happy with the gym overall. I'd just love to see some equipment updates to match the newer location that recently closed.

I like that they have more amenities and I use the pool often. I feel that the pool should have a better cleaning system but it seems alright. Sometimes stuff is floating in the water but it is a public pool... and there are not many to choose from around here. I am suspicious that I got ringworm on my elbows while doing crunches but that's not really the gym's fault, it's just that some people are disgusting and don't wipe the machines. Plus it might have been bug bites because I garden a lot. Maybe enforce the machine wiping more somehow. I like that it's not too crowded but I do wish it had like monkey bars and maybe an outdoor fitness area. The new Pilates studio looks very nice and the newer lifting area is awesome. If you go here just wipe the machines down BEFORE AND AFTER you use them... not every member has a sense of personal hygiene or a care for shared property.

Had a teacher taking kids into the bathroom to spank their them and would leave them in the room…read moreuntil they finished crying, had multiple instances where dropping my child off becomes some back and forth with the office people while my kid is basically running around the room unattended due to their lack of competent people able to work in their facilities. Never had a day where my kid was good today always had something to say about behavior and disciplinaries that should be followed at home, yet upon return home I notice none of the feedback the teachers give me or other parents. most staff will watch your kids outside of the building for cheaper as well so what's the point of the facility when I have an employee come cut my grapes for my son at home yet the facility can't cut grapes, provide the safety for my child let alone look after them. I am typing this up as a frustrated parent in concern that there needs to be entire overhaul of their curriculums, as well as replacing majority of the staff with people capable and sensible of not only working with our children but also able to work cohesively as a team and make proactive contributions to the lives of our children by inspiring and instructing them, Not being upset at the parents for not providing the necessities that should have already been provided.
