However, with that being said, one of the chiropractics promptly reached out to me and explained the billing confusion. My insurance sent me an EOB but I was informed I wouldn't be receiving a bill from them for anything. My review was solely based on this. The massage and adjustment itself were both great. I was contacted via Linked in from one of the chiropractors to come in for a free adjustment and massage. He informed me to bring my medical insurance but that they were only going to run it to find out if I was covered with future services. I was told that I was covered, etc and just received a notice from my insurance company that the doctor was out of network and I may be billed for the original service. I was offered a free service and shouldn't be charged at all. I would not recommend this practice if they are pulling shady stuff and I definitely am not paying this bill. I have proof that the service offered that day was supposed to be

I wasn't feeling any pain relief and yet I was still told I had a ton of degeneration in my neck and low back. This was not the case at all with AZ chiropractic! I immediately felt welcomed and they did not use scare tactics to get me to sign up for a plan. They are very knowledgeable. They went over my X-rays and confirmed the neck issue that was shown was clearly a result of the accident, whiplash. My chest also was caved in a bit in the middle/left from my seatbelt in the accident and I was experiencing lower and middle back pain as well since. After just two adjustments and a 30 minute (excellent) massage right in the office, my chest issue was fixed 90%. I am so happy I can't believe it. I had a nagging pain in my chest there when laying a certain way and now it's so much better. Adding a picture here to show the difference! In this photo the before is on top and after (so far after two adjustments a week apart) is on the bottom! They work with insurance also, and I totally recommend this place!

On my first visit she made me aware that I would have to pay before treatment even though I was recommended by UHC that Dr. Guarino was apreffered provider. I paid out of pocket for the first four visits and after the fifth I asked the desk how would be reimbursed after the insurance company did pay, which UHC did.. She told me that UHC had not paid them in five years and she didn't anticpate that ever happening. I checked my account at UHC online later that day, and lo and behold they had paid the acceptable amount for the first three visits and the four was being reviewed. I stopped going to this facility after seeing this, and waited until now to verify that UHC had paid for all five visits which they had. The office has made no attempt to correct their error.

I was told a treatment plan would be developed, yet the only recommendation at follow-up was 10 chiropractic adjustments over four weeks. Other services offered by the office, like acupuncture, massage therapy, shockwave therapy, or dry needling, were never discussed. There was also a strong focus on my prescribed pain management that felt dismissive of my medical history.
