So...my car battery decided to die way east past East Mountains area and I was honstly panicking what to do. I had some obligations to be back in town and it would be really bad if I didn't make it back on time. I was thinking of ditching my car and taking a rideshaew back but Uber and Lyft did not service that area...so I was quite panicking not sire what to do. But...then I realized...I had AAA...so I called/left them a request for potential battery Jumpstart and possibly a tow service back to ABQ. I was quite nervous because I wasn't sure how long it would take being sort of far from the metro. The quote AAA gave me was one hour before the service person could shown up at my place. But then...10 min in after placing my request Manuel from Tavenner's Towing called to clarify the place I was. He reassured me he was around the town nearby and would arrive in around 5 min! You wouldn't believe how grateful I was. Once Manuel got here..he helped take a look at my car...and we found we could get my car's battery jump started. Then, I would be able to safely drive back to ABQ (never turning my engine off again since if I did..my car likely wouldn't start again) and not needing the towing service. I really appreciated Manuel's calmness and professionalism. I was so glad he helpeded me on the day I truly panicked! Thank you! Our RV broke down 80 miles east of ABQ on I40 in the middle of nowhere on a Sunday morning. Neither Progressive nor Mercedes Benz could find someone to tow us back to ABQ. We called 911 and the police gave us Tavenner's number. They said they would send someone out ASAP. Shortly thereafter Glenn showed up and risked life and limb hooking up our RV, then towing it 80 miles to ABQ. My truck broke down passing thru. It was dark and late. I called AAA. They had Tavenners come out. They showed up pretty fast considering I was on the side of I40. The guy was friendly. He recommended a repair shop pretty close. Although the repair shop was pricey , it turned out to be a decent repair shop. He did everything that he could to help me out. Just so grateful for this service. After picking us up after we were hit by a semi on I 40, Manuel took us to our hotel and helped get personal belongings out of the wrecked car. They held the car in a locked lot for two nights and are taking us back to Albuquerque to get our rental car and take our wreck to our insurance company's lot of choice. After a night of rain (almost an inch) we became stuck in the muddy road. After being turned down by 2 other tow companies we were thrilled Tavenners would help. We have Roadside assistance with our auto insurance policy. We broke down on a Sunday out in the middle of nowwhere in the pitch dark after a 10 hour drive while towing a 20 Foot trailer with our belongings. There are literally NO towing services closer than 50 miles from where we were. The insurance company had to call several places. Tavenner's was the only company who would come help us. They new exactly where we were on the highway though we could not tell them the mile marker. The driver arrived in about 45 minutes, He loaded our SUV (with our 120 lb dog in it as required by law), hooked up our trailer with haste and delivered us 61 miles to our home. Then he dropped off the car at the local Dealership. We were sooooo thankful. He was smart, pleasant, happy, kind and capable! My Dad and I broke down just east of town. We called for a tow truck and Manuel was there within 25 minutes. He was very friendly, and provided excellent customer service. Once he had our vehicle and trailer hooked up he brought us back into Moriarty and dropped our car off. Then, he went above and beyond. Manuel took us over to the hotel across the street only to find that they had no room. He took us to 3 other hotels after that just to assist us in finding a place to stay. Once we found one, he took us back to our car to get our things, and drove us back to our room. On the way back he even offered stop at Circle K so we could get something to drink. I really hope that no one's car breaks down, but if it does, I highly recommend using Tavenner's. read more

WOW! i was stranded and had money, however this man was very rude and inconsiderate. i would rate this place ZERO stars however had to select one due to Zero not being a selection. Big Shout Out to Lonnie at Tavenner's. Our motorhome broke down. A young man, Lonnie, came within 1/2 an hour. He proceeded to hook up the motor home. He took such care! We were very nervous to have it towed. As soon as Lonnie began, we knew we were in good hands! It was a bit complicated, he reached out to his boss by phone who then showed up as well. What service! This is a great tow company, I hear lots of good things about them I always ask my customers that use them how they were treated and have never heard any bad feedback always a positive experience. I called tavenners to ask about a review I read, and received an explanation that made perfect sense. A disgruntled customer from a D.W.I. impound wanted their vehicle released in the middle of the night. If you need them to tow your vehicle for assistance getting help they are 24 hrs and great service. I often arrive at the shop to find vehicles that have been dropped in the middle of the night from Tavenners with an explanation and customers phone number. As for the disgruntled drunk drivers they need to wait for the next morning to retrieve their cars. read more
