I had issues with losing my tax form from last…read moreyear and not knowing what I owed or for that matter not having any access to the Tax Canada site because they got infected last year and revoked previous information. HAVE YOU EVER TRIED TO NAVIGATE THEIR SITE... Smoke and Mirrors Even with INUIT tax form you eventually hit a wall for something they want you do not have. I went to a competive office (you know who they are) four days before on April 25 and they said I had to fill out a clip board of the 3 forms (my son, wife and myself) and this was after waiting 10 minutes while she went through a file cabinet with me standing at the desk. THEN as I was filling out these forms she says THESE WILL NOT BE SUBMITTED UNTIL AFTER APRIL 30 SO THEIR COULD BE A PENALTY. Outta there... I tried to do it myself until hitting the Canada roadblock or MAZE.... I went to LIBERTY... last resort often seeing the little MASCOT on Ontario St. St. Catharines. VIOLA ALL PROBLEMS SOLVED I went in at about 3 PM with a closing time of 5 PM I had to go home to get exact info needed and employee, GOD bless her I forget her name said she would wait until I got back. I got their just before closing time and asked about a credit that i had mentioned to the previously receptionist... she followed up BEYOND her scheduled hours on a Saturday, made calls to her superior (who apparently was also RECEPTIVE). In the end IMMEDIATELY they sent my 3 and one more complicated forms on the spot. ALSO We have friends who are a retired couple with no complications who paid almost FIVE HUNDRED and we paid $280 for three with complications... and pretty well instant. These people went above and beyond their call of duty... one woman had to pick up her daughter (Who got belayed but still, who gives their dead time to their business.. probably A GOOD ONE) Another employee took a later bus to contibute to an issue that had to be solved before they submitted all three forms. ARE YOU KIDDING ME... Do you know the show YOU GOTTA GO HERE... this is THE SAME

They took the time to explain where everything went wrong with the tax file and provided the information I attempted to acquire since 2021 and which was required to resolve the issue. Every detail was explained and so that a comprehensive understanding of these tax years was finally provided. The customer service provided was impeccable, especially since they inherited the problems and the stress of the previous tax years. Brenda would not be satisfied until she re-did the work previously completed to ensure the accuracy of the results. Cory explained in detail where the error in tax theory was applied and how this error impacted the tax years. The diligent service provided gave me the confidence I needed to engage the CRA and ensure the tax file was resolved. The support continues as I navigate the next stage of the process with the CRA and both Brenda and Cory being readily available to answer any questions I have and guide me in the right direction. When these stupid dc bank mastercards came out the person I had filed with told me that the mastercard was my only option to receive my return in a cash back. I had alot of problems with the card and lost a lot of my return. I filed again the next year. I asked the agent who was filing my return if I had to get the card again if I wanted cash back. He said that no they still have the money order from western union. I have never done the cash back on the mastercard again. This year i filed and the agent was trying to sell me on the card. I informed her of all the issues I had in the past. She assured me they changed and it's way better now. I opted for the money order then all of a sudden I couldn't receive it that way because their machine was busted. I had to get the card. I just tried transferring the balance to myself. It took my refund from the card but I never received it. I couldn't find anywhere to cancel it. I went to call customer service and it went straight to voicemail 6 times. These cards for our refunds were the stupidest idea ever. They never work. They rip you off and they have no customer service. I am happy with h&r block but if you tell me I have to get this stupid card again you will lose me as a client. Dc bank you suck!!!!

Not anymore! For the past couple of years, I have been going here and Jon has been making sure tax season isn't stressful or scary. He is so knowledgable about the entire process and very thorough to make sure he gets you set up nicely. He also has great advice for how to approach your taxes and different strategies for the upcoming year too. It was a quick and easy process to call for an appointment.
