Took 3 years for them to get us on a payment plan with the IRS. Meanwhile, money was withheld from my paycheck, they saved us literally NO money. My first experience with an accountant team was amazing at the start but it went downhill at the very end. The first person I introduced to was Jeremy, he was the best person to talk with when it came to all the madness of taxes. He reassured me and answered all of my questions on the spot. After our phone call, I paid my $275 to get set up for taxes & I obtained access to their portal. I was ready to start with Tax Relief. Later on, I was then assigned to Ronson, he was an excellent accountant who was able to guide me with my troubles as a first-year business owner. He was able to help me with everything and he helped finalize my 2021 taxes. Once it was all filed, I receive an email from Natalia requesting an additional $255. (Yes, I was aware of Tax Relief charges by the hour from the beginning). Tax Relief workers neglect to have a timer on their customer portal & I was never notified about my first hour running out of time and that they would begin charging me an additional hour. If I were given a heads-up about my first hour was approaching an end, I would've planned accordingly and got everything done promptly. I was financially struggling during the time, I had just left my job due to Cancer. Luckily I had saved just enough money for food and medication. I've explained this over the phone with Natalia, I asked if they'd be able to help me out in any sort of way. She said the most she could do is to extend my payment due date by another 30 days. It was able to help me temporarily until the 30 days were up and I had received numerous calls and emails from Natalia demanding the payment of the additional hour. That's when I had to decide to neglect my health to please Natalia. I really hope my payment had helped out Natalia because it sounded like she was in dire need of a few extra dollars. Unfortunately for me, I was unable to pay for my medication for the month. My overall thought of Tax Relief is, you're better off using TurboTax with a live expert's help. Tax Relief uses the same Intuit program as TurboTax and they both do it virtually at the end of the day. So save yourself a few dollars and a boatload of stress and go with a TurboTax expert who isn't eager for money. read more

I never provided incomplete or incorrect information: I always provided all information that was requested from me, and if it was not enough it's their forms and lack of communication to blame and not me. And I never "repeatedly requested to rush": I only asked once to make sure to finish the return within 10 business days. These guys suck! Started doing my own taxes on freetaxusa since they help me maximize my deductions. Waste of $400 never again with these dumb ass lazy CPAs here. All they did was ask for my old tax return and copy it verbatim minus of course my new 1099s. Hell they didn't even maximize all the expenses I could have gotten for my rental property! Save your money and start doing your own taxes. IRS may have you file directly online but of course they won't tell you all the legal tricks. read more

Ok, here it goes.... I have been avoiding the federal government as well as the state for nearly 12 years.
