I rarely give one star reviews, but is important to provide honest feedback in hopes the company will listen and improve. Having missed the final shuttle to the repair shop for the day, I called Keno. They told me that all ride prices are priced from downtown and as a result the 2-3 mile trip would cost nearly $20. I said thank you and tried to call another company. Finding none, I called back and asked if they could get someone to me in the next 20 minutes. They said yes. 30 minutes later I called back to find that the cab was still dropping off their last passenger nearly 5 miles away! We were waiting for a ride for approximately 40 minutes. We called back for the ETA and no one had been sent because they were under the impression that we were lying. It was work related for a reasonable suspicion and associate needed a ride to the hospital. If you aren't going to provide service let the customer know that instead of having them wait for transportation that will never arrive. read more

I read the negative Yelp reviews. However, I had no choice but to use them since there really isn't an alternative choice. I was quoted 15 minutes but the driver took 45 minutes. This is the most horrible cab service I've ever had to deal with the lady hung up on me just, because my daughter and my son called two cabs at the same time. Because they said it would be 45 minutes compared to the cab they went with that came right away. People have to get to places right away and the fact that they are so unprofessional is horrible we gave them hundreds of dollars of business plus tips during the holidays how dare they treat us like that! Cancellations happens it's part of the business and life! The fact that they wouldn't pick up our phone calls is completely unprofessional! Why cant we give negative stars!!!! How does the city not shut this place down? They area monopoly (notice the address of all the other cabs in town). They over charge and treat people terribly. My mother was discriminated against because of her disability and weight and they left her stranded. Been using this service for quite some time now. I am a high school student and there's places I need to be and I don't drive and my mom can't always take me everywhere. This is the last time I use the keno cab service. The woman who answers the phone is rude and disrespectful and the service is unreliable. I waited outside of a ghetto Walgreens for an hour for a cab til I called my mom. I was told it would be 20-30 minutes. The woman now will not accept my calls and I am furious. let me just say this, they are the rudest cab company ever to exist. I work for a hospital and sometimes we have patients who need rides home. I had a patient who was scheduled for a ride at 2:15pm, one they were late by 20 minutes and then LEFT the building as I was bringing him down. I'm sorry but what? who does that? It took me less than 2 minutes to bring him down to the area we planned to meet at, this rude inconsiderate driver mentions something about my patient status, the security guard explains she was not aware and that is when he left. I then had my charge call Keno Cab, to which a lady answered and LAUGHED as my charge nurse explained the situation. she LAUGHED and said "don't worry we will send another one" what??? It took them over another 20 minutes just for them to send another individual who was unprofessional, had a nasty attitude and was smoking in the car. Keno Cab is truly a horrible company. Zero Stars! My husband called for a ride from Piggly Wiggly on 30th Ave to Surf Side Bowl, which he was quoted $11.50, after he was asked how many passengers. He was also asked if we were beginning to shop or finished, to which he replied finished. Dispatch said they'd send someone right out. An hour later, we called to ask where the cab was and were told they had a driver with a flat tire and we were next on the list. We had $150 worth of groceries and many frozen products were melting, as it was raining and warm. Another 20 minutes passed and the cab finally showed. Upon arriving at our destination, I handed the driver $12, which is when he told me the fare was $12.50 because of an extra passenger! Now, a dollar is nothing, unless you've waited over an hour and 20 minutes for a cab and plenty of $$$ in lost food! NEVER AGAIN!! read more

I asked for a cab to pick me up at the store and take me to another store down the road. I gave them a specific spot to meet me at said store. Never came as I was waiting inside watching for them to come. I called the cab company back and the gentlemen decided to yell at me on the phone and said they were waiting for 15 min for me and which they we're not because I was right outside of the door waiting. That wasn't the part that made me never ever want to call this shity company back. Their dispatchers are rude and verbally abusive, their cars are dirty and disgusting, their drivers are unsafe and habitually 20 minutes late, and their rates are ridiculously high. It is so sad that they are the only taxi company in Kenosha. Take my advice and call USA Taxi out of Zion, IL instead!! Called this company, as the literal only choice, on behalf of a bar patron at 1:50am. Now, this may be an assumption, but as a cab company, local laws regarding bar close should be common knowledge. I was told it would be a 30-45 minute wait, and informed the dispatcher that the man would be outside in the lot waiting. At 2:56 my business received a call back informing me that my cab was outside, so I informed them that the man in question was in the parking lot as per state law at the closing of any bar. The dispatcher informed me that no one was outside, and although I understand the frustrating aspect to this, the following response was absolutely unacceptable. The dispatcher told me that "well I wish that you'd have told us that so that we didn't waste a driver. So much for servicing [name of bar here]" and hung up on me without another word. In addition to writing this review, I fully intend on contacting a member of management for this excuse of a company, as this is my second experience (out of two), that has been rude, unprofessional, and just uncalled for. If I could give this god awful company no stars I would. Everything about my experience with them was AWFUL. I called because I needed a ride from the Brat Stop to the La Quinta Inn. I would have walked, they are .2 miles away from eachother but there was a lot of snow on the ground and I had a bunch of luggage to carry. The dispatcher was a jerk and I waited forty minutes for the cab in the freezing cold. Well, well. Looks like Keno Cabs never fails to disappoint. My mother ended up in the hospital and I needed a cab fast. Well as a grown adult, I understand that cabs are not always available to come get me 5 minutes after I call. However, the dispatcher told me that I would have a cab coming my way in 15 minutes that could pick me up AND take me home. Great! Well, not so great considering it took 45 minutes for it to arrive. I could have walked and gotten there faster- however, I do not want to walk 2 miles in the dark at 1 am in my neighborhood. Seriously. What made it worse is that all I wanted to do was run in and sign a form for my mother. I told the driver I would be no more than 2 minutes and he told me he was not willing to wait after we arrived at the ER. So after two minutes, I walked 2 miles home at 1 am in the dark in a dangerous neighborhood AFTER paying him $10.50 to drive two miles. I do not care about the price. Bad cab companies will charge BAD prices...but that cab driver made it clear that I will NEVER use them again. I called for this cab today on Dec 7, 2011 and i called at 7;30a.m. First let me say that they refuse to answer the phone and you got this error message saying that they so busy that they can't answer the phone so call back and keep trying, then they answer the phone and i told them i needed to go to the Kenosha metra train and the dispatcher lady which was a jerk tells me someone will be to my house in a hour and then hangs up. I waited and hour but in the process kept calling and calling to check on the status of the cab and still cannot get through. Finally i get through and tell him i needed the cab and he tells me are you sure u still need it cause the metra train just left and anotherone doesn't come till 2;30 which isn't true...These people should be put out of business and are shitty ...Furthermore when you try too call other cabs located in the on-line in the yellow pages its all the same company just under different names. keno cab is the worst cab in Kenosha. Their staff is rude, inconsiderate, and not business like at all. There is one good driver that I came across. I wish I knew his name so I could separate him from the rest of them. After enough problems with their services. I called My Way Taxi Services. They cost a little bit more and their car's may not be in the greatest condition, but their service is friendly, and I didn't walk away with a bad thought. read more

I would give a rating of less than 1 star if possible. Called tonight because our phone died and Uber was not an option. Was quoted a 20 minute arrival time. After 45 minutes, we called back and was told it would be 10-15 more minutes. I called back and was told by a very rude operator that because I called again after 5 minutes of their second quote, they would not longer be sending a cab because I called again. The operator then hung up on me. I then asked the bar tender to call and he was told that a cab would not be sent to their very upscale restaurant/bar. The bartender stated that he was stunned and could not believe they would not send him a cab. This was on a Thursday night (not busy) before midnight. Because the bartender was so appalled, he used his own Uber app to call us an Uber and I paid him directly for it. No wonder this company has such a bad rap. Luckily, I know the Alderman and owner of the bar and will be reporting this company to them as well as the Better Business Bureau. read more
