Being a long time regular customer I would use no other taxi service for years. I have had…read morecomplaints of course due to speeding and texting and driving (including one woman pulling a book out to write in it on her steering wheel while driving) yet I continued to use their service as most of the drivers are excellent, however not once was one of my complaints ever dealt with or taken seriously. Well the last complaint I had the woman I was speaking with got rude with me and I made her aware as a regular customer who spends hundreds I didn't appreciate the attitude and I would call back and speak to the manager. She told me she was the manager and proceeded to argue with me so I reiterated it was bad customer service and ended the call to find out a few days later I have been blocked and banned from the service when I called from my husband's phone because I couldn't get through on my own. I use it for all my groceries, apointments and my sons asd therapies plus work so alot and to just bar me when I have not gotten rude, aggressive or violent all over a simple complaint is pretty ridiculous. I have had their drivers swear at me, speed while texting and driving with a small child in the car and just completely disregard basic road rules and never really made a huge issue and now I'm blocked for complaining about bad service.

Wednesday evening, around 7:15pm, I exited the Oshawa go train station and walked up to the first cab. I had come from an appointment in Hamilton that I was unable to change, despite the fact that I had injured my back only two days before. Having to walk in from the second parking lot down the road in the morning was difficult enough, but after two long train rides and a busy day my back was in excruciating pain. On top of it all, my zipper had broken on my jacket and I returned to bitter and windy weather. Normally I would not have even thought of taking a cab but it was all too much and the thought of making it back to my car was even more. I got into the first cab and said where I wanted to go. The driver replied "I've been waiting here for an hour, why don't you walk?". Despite proceeding to explain the injured back and broken zipper, the driver yelled at me to get out and walk. When I asked are they not supposed to take any fare that requests them, he replied that he didn't care. Heading to the second cab, I was obviously in a very bad mood. I said to the second driver that the first cab refused to take me. He asked where I wanted to go and when I replied he yelled at me that he had been waiting there for two hours and that I had to walk. The same conversation ensued with me leaving in an even worse mood. Not only was their behaviour horrendous, but there is no way that they had been waiting one and two hours respectively without leaving for a more lucrative location. I mean, did 2 to 4 trains really come in without anyone raking a cab?? I ended up walking very cold and super sore to my car in the parking lot down the road. I know it's not an insanely far distance, but given the circumstances I was not doing well by the time I got there. I called the cab company to be told that their complaint department was not currently available. They took my name and number and told me they would be in touch. It is now Friday at 10:31pm and I, of course, have not heard a word. The whole situation was deplorable from every aspect. If anyone has been unsure about uber, I'm here to tell you not to be. I have used uber many times and have never been treated with anything but friendliness and respect. Again, the taxi company that behaved so badly is BLUELINE and the drivers plate codes are 19 and 79.

I am on the list to get a hip replacement and therefore it makes it difficult to get into a van. I requested a car but apparently they only have 1 car and it was on a school run. Circle Taxi used to be very dependable, but in the last couple of years it has not been. This is why more people are taking UBERS now.
