THey said if I could get the part to them Saturday morning I could get it fixed. I was out of ideas and stumbled upon Cochrane Taxi's #. Doug was a godsend that day. I called him and asked what the chances were he would bring me a part 40 minutes to Bow Valley Campground. He never even hesitated, told me the exact price and even went to NAPA and bought the part for me over the phone(the price was extremely reasonable). He was at my campsite in 40 minutes and we got our truck fixed the next morning. I cant even explain the headaches Doug saved. Great company with great people driving for them. 10/10 would recommend.

Then a bit later as I tried to get into his lane - there was plenty of room when I signaled - he speed up to deny me access to get into that lane. He continued to adjust his speed so that even when I slowed down to let him by - he wouldn't let me in that lane. All while doing 100KM an hour. Crazy! He then speeded past several vehicles at the top of the hill lights to get past them before it turns into one lane - he cut off the Van in front to get in front of the line. There are other taxi services that you can use and feel safe. This company is not what you want.

Turns out he had us scheduled for the following day so she said come now! Bc we needed him to take us to the airport & he was our ONLY option bc of our current situation. Brett also is a yoga instructor & vegan. He was a fabulous conversationalist for the entire time he got us to the Calgary airport from Kananaskis hotel which took him an hour & ten minutes. Yes he was on it!!! Thank you Brett! We got back to California safely & appreciate you for picking us up in a split second but actually 42 minutes later. We still had time to spare thankfully since our flight wasn't international until the next day. In fact good thing wifey called him first as he got inundated with many calls after that to get people to the airport! Woohoo we lucked out! Thankful wifey has her female intuitiveness bc we would have been SOL.

St this point, I needed to know the time, not a psychologist to tell me if I seem "pissed" or not. At our hotel he took it out of the cab for us and made sure it was unfolded before he left. Somehow I managed to leave my wallet in the cab. In the middle of the night the hotel slipped a letter under my door stating that a cab driver dropped off my wallet at the front desk. Nothing in my wallet was disturbed. It is so nice to experience an honest man.

I called Associated instead abd they were more than happy to come out. Last night I experienced the most, rude, out of control driver I've ever seen. And I wasn't even waiting for a cab. I've un-installed the Checker Cab app. Will use either Associated or an Uber now.
