For food being so close to the waterfront had me craving some seafood, and the rockfish sandwich delivered with its Chesapeake seasoning and remoulade dressing. Each day of the week has a beer special at Max's, and Thursday meant that I was enjoying a discount on full pint cask pours. I liked that Max's had transparent pricing available for 4 oz to large pours and growlers to go on their menu for each and every draft beer, and the 4 oz pours made it easier to enjoy the 11% abv barleywine beer from a Baltimore brewery that I was curious about without feeling some extra inebriated repercussions during my ghost tour.
