    The sprussel sprouts were amazingggg
    May M.

Hands down my favorite spot I've visited in Baltimore! Ranked #4 in the U.S. for gluten-free dining, and it absolutely exceeded expectations. The Crav Tots were perfectly crispy, loaded with flavor, and completely addictive. The paninis had the perfect balance of crispy and delicious fillings, while the roasted Brussels sprouts were caramelized to perfection with just the right amount of seasoning. What impressed me most was the incredible variety of gluten-free options, you never feel limited here. Pair that with friendly, attentive service, and it's the kind of place you'll want to come back to again and again. If you're in Baltimore, this one is absolutely worth the visit.

What a nice surprise! The portions here are some of the largest I've ever encountered. Per endorsement by reviewers on Yelp, we ordered the Maryland Crab Tots and Brussel Sprouts--both appetizers but portioned like entrees! The brussels were incredible (crunchy, not too bitter)--comes with different sauce options, and we got the garlic parm which was delicious. Also loved their tots--both the regular potato and sweet potato ones had the perfect crispy outside and soft inside. The cubano panini was also great. Quick/efficient service. We got a table immediately for a Sunday brunch without reservation. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Typical Fells bar/restaurant/tavern vibes.

I couldn't tell you the last time I had a crab cake and their gluten free one was incredible. Highly recommend the Brussels sprouts too. Love the entire GF menu and the service was fantastic. Everything came out quickly to accommodate our upcoming train.

Well as stated 7 years ago, we used to come here during bar crawls. But we don't live here anymore so while we were in town we thought we'd come by with our son. The gluten free menu is exceptionally better now! Just amazing! Everything was great. One of the best gluten free menus in the city. Can't speak to drinks anymore, neither of us have had one in years BUT my mocktails were awesome.

My wife and I went here for brunch because of their extensive gluten-free offering. It's rare to find a place with more than a few options, so for that reason alone, it is worth visiting. To my surprise, it was also great in every other way. Service was fantastic. Our server was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Prices were reasonable as were portions, and the food was just plain tasty. I sometimes struggle to break out of my routine and try new places, but I'm so glad I did. I can't wait to go back!

WoooHoo! So glad I chose to stop here during my trip to Baltimore after hearing good things online! Fells Point is such a cute little town, I decided to sit outside since it was such a beautiful night! My server Nick was very polite & attentive, gave me multiple recommendations after asking what I had to try since I was in town, and dealt kindly with all of my questions unrelated to their establishment. I was told that the portions were huge, and I decided to go with the Blackened Chicken Alfredo. I know, I know, I could've got that anywhere else, but this specific bowl of pasta goodness was probably the best I ever had, and I've had this dish several times! Came out piping hot, the broccoli had char on it which I usually don't see but that made it even better, the chicken's flavor was great, and due to that I didn't have an all white alfredo sauce! (and me, of course, I told them no tomatoes on mine) I decided to get a Creamsicle Cocktail over crushed ice and it was delicious! One of the recommendations from Nick. Tastes exactly like it sounds! And the most bestest for last, those Maryland Crab Tots. THIS was the main reason I came here since I had seen a lot of chatting about them on the good old inter-webs and they were soooo amazing! The picture does not do it justice whatsoever, it does look like the cheese is unmelted, but I can assure you I was getting fantastic cheese pulls along with the creamy crab dip that was layered in the tots which you can't really see either since it was under the cheese, and other tots. GRAB THESE IF YOU GO! I stuffed myself the most that I could handle because it was all delicious but decided to cut myself off so I didn't explode my jean's button off.

I love a good eggs benny!! It was really yummy. We sat outside and it was such nice weather. The service would have been a little bit better, I felt like because we were outside we were constantly forgotten about. I did really like the fresh orange juice tho!

We loved this location! Stopped in before a concert and the food was quick but delicious. I also had their seasonal crush which was delicious and I already miss it! Would highly recommend!

My friend said I had to come here. We did. As soon as we stepped out of the Uber the adventure began. The building is so out dated but the entrance door held its charm. Neon lit Edgar portrait reading from a book his Annabel Lee. Complete with a bouquet of flowers. To the right more words of the writer surrounded with a few tables and chairs for those willing to chill in the cold. Inside was no different. Several crows, skulls everything you'd expect. And a well stocked bar. Many writings on the wall, articles, awards, etc all added to the vibe and theme. And of course dimly lit but you could still read the menu. We were guided to the back for our party of 5, in a corner away from everyone else. That made it easy for us to converse as we perused the menu exclaiming this and that of the dreadful names used and deathly ingredients mixed in. It definitely made it more appetizing. After working all day I was ready for a drink and settled on the To Isadore; gin, lavender syrup, lemon squeeze topped with segura cava. That hit the spot. Unfortunately, I had eaten quite a bit on this trip and forced myself to order the Chef Salad. Nothing more to say there. My wife, though, ordered the seafood lasagna. Never had that and it didn't sound like something I could get into. I was wrong. This is Baltimore. The seafood here is astounding. It was delicious and had to take a couple spoon fulls. My friend ordered the double beef patty burger. I was jealous until he offered me a bite. That was really good too, and juicy. If you're looking for an experience and are not too afraid you may want to visit Annabel's. I do recommend it and do insist coming after the sun has been well down.

A few of us came early and got drinks at the speakeasy upstairs which I definitely recommend! It had a great drink menu and cool vibe. For actual dinner, the restaurant itself had an eclectic menu and swanky decor. The service was spotty. I had to ask for water refills 2x. Also for a group of 12, it took about 7 mins for everyone to be served food. Yes, this is a large party, so you must have several servers come bring the food when you're charging these prices. It should've been a seamless experience but we had several friends waiting on their food while others were halfway through. The food quality itself was hit or miss. The pork belly app was delicious! Crispy and tender. But the octopus was overly chewy and weird. We had 2 dishes with it and both were cooked like that, it wasn't good. The lobster poutine was delicious and went quick. Paella was okay - the shellfish was overcooked and seemingly dried up. Drinks were good and staff was friendly. Overall, there are a lot of kinks to work out. I'd like to come back but at the price point, I wish our experience was better and wish the food was more consistently good.

Note, my daughter had put ketchup on plate before realizing the oversight. So, when the MANAGER brought the food back, I'm thinking it was a show of good faith given the error. Nope. He had a smug attitude and puts the plate on the table where I immediately notice the original plate was reused because it had the ketchup smear. I asked him if this was the same sent back plate of food and he said "yes" and said the added the avocado. They UNWRAPPED the original wrap and just added the avocado and brought the entire plate back. I immediately questioned how that follows food handling guidelines. If they weren't going to redo the order, they could have just brought avocado slices to the table! The MANAGER had a very dismissive, RUDE attitude and so I sent everything back and left. I did tip the waitress cash because she was great and had got us drinks by that point. Again, she was nice and side-eyed the manager agreeing what he did was not acceptable. Apparently he also had a rep for being rude and nasty. I will never eat there again. You have a kitchen with seafood and meats and have no food handling controls? Yeah, miss me with the risk of food poisoning or cross-contamination. No thank you! You're rude to customers and have no standards? Whoever runs the kitchen should know better as should the manager. Indeed, Twist Fells Point will far exceed all preconceived notions or expectations, given the location on the block and the surrounding area. I've visited Baltimore, Maryland, several times, especially Fells Point. Fells Point leaves a lot to be desired, but because of its potential and sense of community, I return often, not to mention the fact that it's on the waterfront. That said, I've strolled down the streets of Fells Point many times and have passed Twist several times, but I've never been censored from going in. I must admit, I judged a book by its cover (surroundings) and assumed I would not have a good dining experience. Oh boy, was I wrong. Not only was the food amazing, but the staff were extremely attentive and focused on creating the best dining experience for me and all customers.
