Just replaced my second fuel pump for my 2016 GMC Sierra, it is five years old but only has just…read moreunder 21k miles, the original factory fuel pump only last 34k miles. The last fuel pump was more expensive, installed by Hugh White Chevy, cheap Mexican made fuel pump that sells between $54 and $75 on Amazon and Walmart websites. I was told this was a genuine GM Part, it is not a GM part. This review is more about the cheap non OEM part and the damage done to it before or during installation. There has always been a gasoline smell since the new one was installed. Two service departments no issues found. Turns out there is a piece missing from the top of the pump and several cracks in the top of the fuel pump that was just replaced. Chris the service advisor swears a Delphi fuel pump was installed that has a lifetime warranty, I have a Delphi box containing the damaged but functional fuel pump. Management didn't bother to follow up on complaint that a damaged fuel pump was installed or that it was damaged during installation and sent out of the service department anyway. 2016 GMC Sierra 2500 with 54k miles now on its third fuel pump. The service advisor Chris stumbled all over himself explaining how rust damage on a plastic part made it inoperable. $2400 for fuel pump, oil change tire rotation, plus labor and diagnosis of evaporator system. The cashier saw a discrepancy in diagnostic charges and amended it after discussing with another advisor, reducing cost to just under $2300. Ask questions, make sure the verbal warranty they say is on a part is in writing, last lifetime warranty on a Mexican fuel pump was actually only a 2 year warranty. Truck runs fine, no issues so far, only 100 miles out on it since the repair. Will follow up after vacation, using truck for long trip.

Repairs where completed as projected in a reasonable timeframe. The people took the extra step to…read moreassist in vehicle pick up at the end of the day and were very professional.

Conditional Add-On & No Financing Transparency…read more I reached out to this dealership about a vehicle and asked for an out-the-door (OTD) quote. The first number they sent included a $2,000 charge for a Simoniz glass coating--an add-on I never requested or agreed to. I told them directly I did not want the add-on and asked for it to be removed from the quote. Their response? "We'll remove it if you finance with us." This is a classic tied-selling tactic--making the removal of an unwanted add-on contingent on dealer-arranged financing. It's unethical and, under federal and Ohio law, potentially illegal. The FTC's rules clearly state that add-ons must be optional and cannot be used as leverage to push financing. To make matters worse, they never provided a financing worksheet or any written breakdown of loan terms--even after 10 days and multiple requests. I was buying from out of state, which made the lack of transparency even more frustrating. If you're considering buying here, ask for all pricing and financing terms in writing--and be wary of any pressure to finance just to get a fair price. I walked away. You should too if transparency and fairness matter.
