Most people will either grab a drink from Strawberry Market or ice cream from Scoop and eat it here. Other options are Mexican takeout from Blue Habanero or pizza from 8 1/2. There is a cute community garden at one end of the park. They have a compost bin which is awesome. There are some benches, tables, and a good amount of green space to sit down. I love to meet up with friends, read a book, play music, or picnic here. This is probably one of my favorite parks we have.

Some of the courts and fields have lighting available and some of the softball fields can be reserved. I enjoyed the walking track today, some of which is natural and some of which is paved. A great walk through some trees and shade. There's apparently 2.1 miles of track, even if I only used a small portion of it. Kids will enjoy the playground which has benches nearby for the adults to use while the kids are playing. There is parking out the wazoo here. Just not allowed overnight. However the actual park once you are through the entrance and to the main crux of it is quite big and has a shocking number of sports facilities ranging from fields for football and soccer to tennis courts to a golf course. It is very much intertwined with the nature around it but also clear and organized enough so you feel you aren't just in the woods. There are a scattered number of parking lots that may be good for normal capacity but I feel for big games on the fields/facilities it may get packed quickly.

There's a large sliding area, and a smaller one on the Libbie entrance. There's a mini rock wall and climbing stools. Let your kiddos swing on the swing set with a couple of open swings and a few buckets swings for toddlers. You'll only find two spring rides, but it's a neighborhood playground so that's sufficient. The mulched playground should keep you precious cargo safe enough and there's a small field for playing ball. Although this is not a huge place, it should tire your tots out!
