He communicated with me directly at every step, which is more than I can say for our landlord! When he and his crew showed up to begin work, we didn't know they were coming - so all of our stuff was still on the old balcony and the lanai underneath. No complaints from them, they just started moving everything. From start to finish, I could see the quality of their work (I actually have some construction experience). They were polite, respectful, and along with the solid construction, cleaned up after themselves when finished. I didn't pay for the new balcony, so I have no idea of the cost, but I would certainly hire these folks myself if I needed a deck or other such work.

Hayes was terrific from the initial estimate meeting through project completion. A shout out here to my insurance company, Mutual Benefit, and its Claims Adjuster, Paul Graham. I asked Paul for some recommendations, and Hayes was one of the companies he named. The entire claims process could not have been easier or more professional. They even paid for a company to pack up and securely store off-site all the stuff in the basement while the repairs were made. Jeff Murphy was the Hayes' project manager, and he was terrific - professional, attentive, flexible and polite. So were all of the Hayes employees and subcontractors who worked on the job. I won't name them all, but Thierry, who did much of the carpentry and a couple other jobs, and Axel, who did the painting, were simply wonderful. The old asbestos tile flooring in both the finished and unfinished basement spaces needed to be removed and replaced. Asbestos remediation specialists handled the removal and encapsulation. New vinyl planking went into the finished space, and vinyl composition tiles in the unfinished space. Damaged walls were replaced and painted, and new baseboard installed and painted. Eric from Kelly Plumbing handled the plumbing work, and Carpets by Denny Lee was the flooring subcontractor. I really liked their work too, and Shane at Denny Lee's was very helpful in finding the right flooring choices for the space that fit the budget. The one photo shows the new vinyl plank floor and the repaired wall that suffered significant damage, while the other photo shows the new vinyl tiles and the wall by the clothes dryer that also suffered damage. In closing, Hayes was a wonderful firm with which to do business.

I then sent him a text message and he said he would have something for us within a week. That was a month ago. I still have not heard back from him. This is unfortunate as I hired Hayes Construction Company a few years ago for french drains in the basement and recessed lighting in the living room and, at that time, they were reliable and did good work.

We needed to rebuild and repoint all the arches of the facade of our 100+ year old brick row house. We had previously done some patch work with a handyman which needed to be removed. We needed someone who would do the work to restore with care, so that when he was done, the bricks would be laid as if it were original work. His team did the work in 8 days, as promised. When an issue came up, Eric walked us through it, and helped keep extra costs down. Stinebaugh Masonry never tried to gauge us. They also did extra, above and beyond what was contracted. They just completed the work today, and it looks great. These guys delivered quality work, exactly as promised, on time, and on budget.
