When we walked in we were asked if we needed help with anything, to which we said we were browsing. We were left alone the rest of the time there as we perused through the store and smelling the different scents that had available. When we went, they had a 50% off sale on large jar candles. Their candles are indeed overpriced at MSRP, but the sale they had was tempting. We ended up finding 4 different candle scents that we enjoyed and pulled the trigger. We paid about $73 for 4 candles. We also had a coupon that came in the mail that offered a free small candle if we signed up for their email newsletter, which I redeemed. I was given a brief overview of their rewards program, including a free candle I'll receive on my birthday! All in all, a friendly experience. If we ever need more candles in the future, we'll be on the lookout for their occasional sales for their $17 signature jars!

But after a short look around I found a lot of cool stuff. They have the most manly soaps I have ever found. Beer soap. And they have some really great CHL holsters for women too. I looked at the neck and side seams and couldn't find a care tag. I washed cold/cold on delicate and hung it straight out of the washer. I saw it had shrunk so much, but I was able to stretch it (it was make of crinkly material) after I put it on, and was able to wear it but it ripped up the back seam the first time I wore it after washing it once. I wasn't even aware there was a back seam (bad place for one, IMO) - and that's when I found the care tag - DRY CLEAN!!!! Not sure why it shrunk so much since I washed it on delicate and with cold water. Just be sure to check your tags. I wish I had. I typically won't buy anything if it's dry clean only, but who would ever think a swimsuit cover up would be dry clean only?

As soon as I stepped in, I was greeted by LaDawn and Ken. They are the most beautifully amazing couple I have met. They welcomed me with a warm smile and greeting while I roamed the aisles. Everything was nice and organized to the point that I didn't want to touch anything. They have a nice selection of products for different hair needs as well as hair lined up on the walls. Ultimately I decided on the Camille Rose bantana oil. Upon checking out, LaDawn , Ken and I had a wonderful conversation. They let me know that they had only been at the location for about nine months. They let me know that they also provide booths for braiders and locticians which are AMAZING in itself. I was attend the tail end of the open house. They have a large selection of extensions in an assortment of textures and colors including human and synthetic hair. I do not wear extensions, but if I did, this would be the place to go. Sistah Sistah also has the largest braid accessories I have ever seen. In addition, they have shampoos, conditioners, rollers, hair oils, etc. I ended up buying a comb, brush and some hair products.
