I stopped by Yankee Candle to get my favorite scent. Not just a fall scent, but my favorite all year round scent, MacIntosh. Just love the smell of the wax melts. I found exactly what I was looking for. They're not very expensive and they do last a long time. I believe it was just under $6.00 Great product, great price. Happy I was able to stop in and they had the wax melts in stock. My cashier was nice. I got my receipt text to my phone. read more

We've started getting into candles over the last couple of years and we've ran low in supply. Decided to visit this store versus buying straight online so we could smell the candles before deciding to purchase. When we walked in we were asked if we needed help with anything, to which we said we were browsing. We were left alone the rest of the time there as we perused through the store and smelling the different scents that had available. When we went, they had a 50% off sale on large jar candles. Their candles are indeed overpriced at MSRP, but the sale they had was tempting. We ended up finding 4 different candle scents that we enjoyed and pulled the trigger. We paid about $73 for 4 candles. We also had a coupon that came in the mail that offered a free small candle if we signed up for their email newsletter, which I redeemed. I was given a brief overview of their rewards program, including a free candle I'll receive on my birthday! All in all, a friendly experience. If we ever need more candles in the future, we'll be on the lookout for their occasional sales for their $17 signature jars! read more

Not to be confused with Yankee Doodle Candy, which apparently is a song about sugary sweets. I don't really like these stores in general and I find them to be overpriced, but the main problem is that they give me a huge headache. I went in here with Barbie and tried to hold my breath a little bit. As I usuallyt do. She likes the chain in general, but she said that this YC didn't have a couple of things that she wanted for her sister and her niece, and we didn't find them to be too friendly either. She doesn't burn candles at home thankfully like most girls do. Which is why I don't date most girls. Among other reasons. I mean have you seen Barbie. read more

This particular Yankee Candle store inside Lakeline Mall is a Vitality store. It is newly decorated and more of a specialty store or so the lady behind the counter tells me. Always a bit on the pricey side but great gift ideas and home fragrance is undeniably some of the best and long lasting. What can I say other than if you like candles and home fragrance with that little something extra then this is your spot. read more

I had the best experience at Yankee Candles recently. I am very particular about how my home smells and I burn candles daily for hours. I went into the store looking for a scent that would permeate throughout my two story home. The Assistant Manager Jolie, recommended a particular scent and assisted me in smelling all the various candles flavors (they have SO many). I ended up buying several candles in a scent which was not the one Jolie had suggested. I looked at some accessories and when mentioned I thought I should just get the candles since it was all adding up to be rather expensive, Jolie offered a coupon for $10 off. Of course, I took her up on her offer. When I checked out she even gave me a another coupon to use in the future. When I got home I started burning the candles right away. I soon realized that I should have taken Jolie's advice on the scent she suggested. The candle I chose just did not have a strong enough fragrance for me. I called Jolie and she happily let me exchange the candles, for the scent she suggested. Apparently this is Yankee Candles policy, but Jolie was just so kind about the whole thing. She even offered that if I still wasn't happy with my new selection, I could return those too. Of course I didn't, since I finally had to right scent. Racist employees today eying me and my (black) boyfriend . They were constantly hovering over us like we were going to still something. They even made hand gestures saying to keep an eye on us. If I could rate a negative I would. Me & my friends came in together during the weekend && Seriously experienced the worst customer service in the history! Please fire them all & get a new friendlier staff! Especially the young guy working on 11/14/15 shift, along with all the older chit chatting ladies who was there that didn't know how to read the company's policy or making an effort to serve their customers. I would never come here or bring my friends and family here again. If I'm ever around this area I would just take my business to their competitor stores! read more

I stopped in here just to see if there were any Fall scents that I would enjoy burning in my home. The sales associate was very nice, very informative and she asked the right kind of questions without being too pushy to find out really what your palate was. I like fruity, yet savory, type of scents. Seriously. Think warm apple pie baking or fresh bread. I also love cranberry and cherry scents. The cranberry chutney smelled really good, but when she handed me Cherries on Snow...this girl was hooked. I did only buy a small jar, because the prices are a little expensive, but if this candle lasts for a while I might consider going back for more. read more
