I love mom and pop Dairy dell kind of places. And I wanted to love this one...but I could (not). A lot of people came for ice cream...so maybe that's where it's at. But the food...uhm...not so much....at all. Chili dog. I'm all for greasy chili type chili dog. But the chili on this one was generally lousy. And the hot dog itself...again...lousy. Tots. Sometime about the tot and the oil used....they didn't work at all too well. Curly fries. This was the best thing we had. These were good enough...considering how the other menu items faired on the day. Pizza burger. The person I was with..asked what this was. The lady decided it...and she absolutely loved the burger. It's a breaded burger with a marina and cheese on it. When it came, it looked very unappealing. And the taste...oh my gosh no. And mind you...either one of us dining this day....is very forgiving and flexible to different things are variation of a dish. This one...Notta...no... Conclusion: stick to the ice cream...maybe it's the experience people rate so high. read more

Old school eatery with burgers and soft serve ice cream at great prices for families. My grandkids were in the mood for ice cream and I remembered the sign after we got off the freeway on our way to downtown Lebanon. Not a lot of choices for the ice cream but you can make them your own with all kinds of sprinkles and other goodies. Can't wait to go back and try a burger. read more

Nothing special about the place and the prices are high. Pre-mixed stuff that gets thrown into an ice cream freezer.

This place is great. I wish I'd known about it sooner. Cheap eats, friendly staff, and convenient location. I'll be back.

Longtime local favorite has survived COVID to become a preferred spot for many, for several reasons. Firstly, they resisted the urge to increase their prices by a ton and now sit as one of the most inexpensive spots to eat in the entire state. The local Dairy Queen going under probably was their closest rival in market segment. Taylor's has always appeared clean to me and a great spot for cold treats, a staple for this location. Wait staff are usually friendly kids who seem a bit happier than their counterparts in town, and getting a hot meal here actually can turn out to be a good experience. A few more positive visits will probably convince me that they're a reliable spot again. read more

Everything was made to order, good deals on the daily specials, inexpensive, and some of the friendliest teenagers I think I've ever met working st a hamburger joint :) Got a double cheeseburger, tenderloin sandwich, 2 fries, drinks, and a hotdog no bun for the dog. $1 Coney dog was the special and it was also a tasty treat. Wish we could have gotten ice cream. Alas it was freezing and we had more than enough food. read more

Taylor's has a Frito Pie that can't be beat ! We get the Frito Pie Deluxe with lettuce and tomato ! Sooo good ! Great fries, too, and their cokes are the best ! With the old fashioned "drive in & walk up" to the order window, just like it's been for 40 years or better, it's got great atmosphere. Great service as well !
