Food was good. The seafood salad was outstanding, the meat stew was filling and just what was needed in a cold damp night. The service was prompt and flowing. No hiccup s whatsoever. The highlight I of the night tho had to be the entertainment. We were on a school tour trip. Employees seemed annoyed. Given three through litter drinks for a group of 20 plus. No ice. No refills.

4 stars purely for the dancers and the musicians. Great show and entertainment, can't say the same for the food though. We visited during our last night in Dublin.  Whisky were waiting at our table, I picked the turkey and hubby picked the Guinness stew.  It also comes with salad or soup.  All the bread that comes with meals in Dublin is the terrible dry soda bread so there's no choice.  Dessert was also terrible, not sure how you can mess that up.  Irish coffee at the end was water down. I know it's a mass produced factory in the kitchen to serve hundreds of customers at the same time, but just being realistic here. The entertainment took an hour-ish after we were seated before it start so there was a bit of waiting. But when it finally did start it was amazing. Love the river dancing, but the fantastic live band is what stood out and made the night. They really brought the house down and and got everyone on their feet. I got picked randomly to try to demonstrate the Bodhran drum, it was hilarious. read more

This is a review for the dinner show. The show wasn't very good unless you enjoy cruise ship style shows. There's dancing and music and attempts at including the audience. I will say the show seems to cater to bus tours as the largest groups are seated closest to the stage and individual parties are towards the back. I was located behind a large pillar but was told I could move around. The food for the show was lackluster but I assume this is because of the large number of plates they needed to cater. I got the salmon with mash and potatoes which was so so. The soup appetizer was just ok as well. For dessert you got a bit of cake and an Irish coffee. No non alcoholic option for this as we were told these were pre made. You get one drink with the dinner-alcohol or otherwise and then it's a cash bar afterwards. The bread was plastic wrapped and very dry. I would come back to try their regular dinner options but not for the show. I do want to mention I overheard many very happy patrons for the show so if you're curious do give it a try but I personally did not enjoy it. read more

The show was entertaining, and we enjoyed that, but this review is for the dinner we had during the show. Everything was very average, and under-seasoned. My wife and I both agreed that the best part of the meal was the soup starter. I had the pork, which was very dry. She had the fish, which had a very fishy taste. Desserts were okay, and the service was pretty good, especially considering all the people they are handling. read more

Great food! We came as part of our tour through Ireland with a company and we are so thankful! The dancers & live Irish music made the great meal an even better experience. While here we learned that Ireland doesn't have ranch... luckily I like blue cheese with my wings! Also while here I learned Rocket sauce is way too spicy for me, as it was in my pasta dish and I couldn't eat it. But the service was great and they ordered to make me anything else as a replacement. Visited July 18, 2022 during our tour of Ireland. We experienced their Irish Cabaret and it's a wonderful show with excellent performances by the singers , musicians and dancers. The dinner served was also excellent, same with the staff very friendly, always smiling. My favorite is their basalmon entree. read more

Attended tonight's performance. The service is impeccable. We were seated and served refreshments quickly. Our food orders were taken in good order and our starters were presented in almost no time. This place holds around 300 people per performance and the fact that servers were running to get us our food is a great compliment. The food arrived hot and was delicious. I had the vegetable soup and others had the seafood salad. We loved our choices. The main courses arrived and were equally delicious, a vegetable quiche, turkey with gravy stuffing and all the fixing, salmon that was tender and cut like butter and the beef stew. Many raves over the beef stew. Dessert was an Apple streusel, oh so good. The Irish coffee was the finishing touch and was most enjoyable. The performance was off the chart great and exceeded our expectations by leaps and bounds, Robb Vickers was the lead performer! His voice resounds in my memory and will for days. I just came back from the traditional Irish evening cabaret here, and it was a blast! I paid $99 through my travel agent company, and it was a great deal. Included was the show and a delicious three course meal with an Irish coffee to finish it off. Usually in these types of events the food is no good, but tonight it was great. The entertainment was just amazing. There was singing, dancing, story telling, and my favorite part if the show, the comedian. This cabaret is a fantastic way to spend a night in Dublin! read more

I attended the Irish Cabaret with my Globus tour group tonight for 85€. Dinner included a starter of vegetable soup, lemon chicken Caesar salad, or seafood chowder, main entree of chicken, salmon, beef, lamb, or vegetarian stir fry noodles, & lemon cheesecake or fruit meringue dessert & Irish coffee. Entertainment included dancing, singing, live music featuring classic Irish instruments & songs, & to top it off a hilarious comedian. The dinner and show here was included as a part of my tour group back in September. I had mixed reviews as I was expecting a more intimate and authentic venue rather than a place that caters to tour groups. The dining room with the live entertainment was big, with a number of really long rows of tables stretching the length of the room which each row seemed to accommodate each tour group. Seating was very tight and not much room between each rows of tables, which many of us questioning the fire codes in the restaurant. It was really hot and stuffy, which the staff try to keep some of the doors to the outside open, but many who sat near it were complaining about the cold so it was kept closed for much of the night. I had to take some breaks outside to get some fresh air which I missed the last part of the show. The food was surprisingly very good considering the mass amount of people they have to serve at one time. The seafood chowder had a lot of flavour and plenty chunks of fish and seafood and thankfully not much potatoes used as filler. The salmon main dish was nicely cooked and not overly cooked which seems to be common in Ireland. The lemon butter sauce was light and simple and done just right. The dessert of cheesecake was very light and fluffy, unlike the heavy North American version we are used to, but tasted great and was nice ending alongside with the Irish coffee which I don't normally drink anything caffeinated at night but I can't resist because it was so good especially with whipped cream which Ireland has some of the best dairy products. I would give the food 4-1/2 stars. Because the food & show was prepaid, ordering drinks at the table and settling the tab was a bit difficult especially given the tight quarters and the amount of people there. Service was a bit spotty and rushed, which I can't blame them as serving at least four coach buses full of tourists a 3 course dinner at the same time isn't easy. As each course was served each server was yelling out the dish "Lamb?! Lamb?!... Chicken?! Chicken?!..." and quickly throwing it on the table -- it felt more like a cafeteria and lacked any ambiance. What made things worse was the neighbouring table/tour group which were a bunch of American tourists, many from New Jersey, were being especially loud and rude to the servers as they were especially annoyed about the rushed service. They were not ready to pay their drinks bill and rudely demanded more drinks and shouted that they will pay when they are ready to pay -- in fact some of them left without paying their bar tab. I felt really bad and embarrassed for the wait staff. I'd guess that what you get with complementary Jameson pours and inexpensive wine combined with drunken rowdy American tourists who felt entitled. The entertainment was just okay. It was Irish Night which features a number of Irish folk bands and some Celtic dancing, nothing I haven't seen before and because it was such a large room, many were not close enough to the stage to appreciate the show which made them disinterested and not paying attention to the performances, adding to the noise to the room and making the performers look bad and under-appreciated which is too bad. Maybe I was there at a bad night with a bad crowd which is really unfortunate because this could have been an excellent experience, and the staff really did their best given the circumstances. read more

I added this an an option when I was on a guided tour and I should have known better. All the tour buses out front were the first tip off. The 60 euro I paid was about 40 euro too much. The entertainment was good but I don't remember any comic - just a band a few dancers. This was toward the end of our vacation so we had been to plenty of pubs that have bands playing some of the traditional music and even one place with Irish dancers for no charge at all. The food was gross - like really bad. I thought the chicken was under cooked so I didn't eat it. And for fried chicken breast as described on the menu, what came out of the kitchen was a steamed or boiled boneless breast with sauce or soup on it. The big draw here is the drinking I think. A small sample of whisky was served when you sat down which is fine but when the bottles of whisky were set down on the table, there was a group seated near us that were out of control. I guess they got their money's worth in alcohol. They screamed and yelled the whole time detracting from the performers on stage. Though they can't control the behavior of others. The amount of alcohol being served to people who are already inebriated is not a good idea. Again back to the price, 60 euro would have gone a long way at one of many pubs or restaurants in town. Maybe this is better for bachelor party type events or something but not an enjoyable night out. read more

Extremely disappointing! Two bar men left to tend to a full restaurant when four members of staff were visible seated out the back for over an hour! A fortyfive minute wait for a very disppointing meal although very reasonably priced very poor quality! The only redeeming factor was the service the two run off their feet barmen put in. read more
