4 stars purely for the dancers and the musicians. Great show and entertainment, can't say the same for the food though. We visited during our last night in Dublin.  Whisky were waiting at our table, I picked the turkey and hubby picked the Guinness stew.  It also comes with salad or soup.  All the bread that comes with meals in Dublin is the terrible dry soda bread so there's no choice.  Dessert was also terrible, not sure how you can mess that up.  Irish coffee at the end was water down. I know it's a mass produced factory in the kitchen to serve hundreds of customers at the same time, but just being realistic here. The entertainment took an hour-ish after we were seated before it start so there was a bit of waiting. But when it finally did start it was amazing. Love the river dancing, but the fantastic live band is what stood out and made the night. They really brought the house down and and got everyone on their feet. I got picked randomly to try to demonstrate the Bodhran drum, it was hilarious.

This was a very fun time experiencing a very interactive celebration of Irish dance, music and comedy. The food was as expected for a large venue and exceeded minimal expectation. The service was done with a smile and those servers hustled The no one was disappointed with the meal , dessert, free whiskey and show. I would warn people not to be overly critical of the show and enjoy it for all its patina and the Catskillesque desire to please all.. Slainte

Outside and show

They served us a drink and dinner first: starter - soup or salad, choice of 4 entrees, dessert and Irish Coffee. Then the show began- about 90 minutes of excellent Irish entertainment! Definitely recommend.

This is a review for the dinner show. The show wasn't very good unless you enjoy cruise ship style shows. There's dancing and music and attempts at including the audience. I will say the show seems to cater to bus tours as the largest groups are seated closest to the stage and individual parties are towards the back. I was located behind a large pillar but was told I could move around. The food for the show was lackluster but I assume this is because of the large number of plates they needed to cater. I got the salmon with mash and potatoes which was so so. The soup appetizer was just ok as well. For dessert you got a bit of cake and an Irish coffee. No non alcoholic option for this as we were told these were pre made. You get one drink with the dinner-alcohol or otherwise and then it's a cash bar afterwards. The bread was plastic wrapped and very dry. I would come back to try their regular dinner options but not for the show. I do want to mention I overheard many very happy patrons for the show so if you're curious do give it a try but I personally did not enjoy it.

Great food! We came as part of our tour through Ireland with a company and we are so thankful! The dancers & live Irish music made the great meal an even better experience. While here we learned that Ireland doesn't have ranch... luckily I like blue cheese with my wings! Also while here I learned Rocket sauce is way too spicy for me, as it was in my pasta dish and I couldn't eat it. But the service was great and they ordered to make me anything else as a replacement. The service and entertainment was top notch, and food was great too!

True Irish entertainment! So much fun! Take the quick 20 minute taxi ride. Totally worth it! Food was good, service was top notch. Shout out to Ryan for helping me after I fell out of the taxi (no not drunk...got tangled in part of a rubber thing that closes the van door). Definitely a must do!

We finished our stay in Dublin with a dinner show here! The food was great, big portions and the show was super funny and amazing! Tons of energy and we loved the show. If we come back to Dublin, we'll do the show again for sure, highly recommended!

We were on a school tour trip. Employees seemed annoyed. Given three through litter drinks for a group of 20 plus. No ice. No refills.

The place is dimly light throughout, so whether you come here daytime or night, you get the same experience... Candles make up most of the ambience in here, very inviting! Staff are always friendly, greeting you with a smile and always happy to accommodate you whether it's an intimate table for 2 or a group booking. There is often live music, whether it's a piano player or live singer/band it makes for a nice drink spot at the weekends. Also great for a pre or post dinner drinks! Place offers a full bar so you can get all the usuals you'd expect of a bar however this place is also doing some fantastic things with their cocktail menu... Some interesting and very unique drink concoctions plus let's not go with calling out their unusual presentations, I just got served a gin cocktail in a bathtub with a rubber duck... Was called Bathtub Gin Time which is a serving for 2, oh my it was yummy and refreshing plus topped with a lavender and rose foam, it literally smelled like a freshly run bath tub! I love to visit here and always recommend it to my friends, am excited to tick off another drink from their cocktail menu very soon! We walked in the door ready for our obligatory drink and every head in the place turned around to stare at us! Then we started getting wolf whistles and things shouted at us from a group of locals! The decor in here is not great either, old dingy and dirty looking, not somewhere the ten second rule would work when you drip some food on the table! We downed our drinks hastily at this stop, I would like to say that I will never return but if a Luas challenge is repeated this pub is unfortunately the only one available for the windy arbour stop! We might make it a stop where we do shots! oh wait, there is a littleoutdoor area which i liked ( a bit) when we were there, i knew it had to have one small redeeming factor!

The exterior has that classic brick-and-wood look you'd expect, hinting at a cozy, timeless space inside. Once you step in, low ceilings, vintage décor, and warm wood tones create a welcoming, traditional pub atmosphere, as football matches play on TV screens overhead, and the fireplace crackles in the corner. It's lively but not overwhelming, with chatter and music that feel proper for drinks and casual dining. At 8:30pm on a Friday night, our party of ten wanted a traditional Irish pub dinner (our first in the country). The pub was about ¾ full, but with some clever table rearrangement from the flexible waitstaff, we were able to be immediately seated. The menu is classic pub fare (fried appetizers and hearty entrees) - food and drinks aren't cheap by American standards, but given the ambiance, it hits the expected value. I ordered their Beef & Guinness Pie (€23.50), which is a hearty beef stew topped with a flaky piece of puff pastry. The dish comes with fries, though they were more than willing to substitute a salad at no additional cost; the salad tasted fresh, although I think it had a bit too much mayonnaise. The stew itself was warming and perfect for a chilly January night, with huge chunks of lean yet tender beef, simmered vegetables, and a savory broth with a hint of that classic Guinness flavor. I wish the puff pastry on top were flakier and less flat, though it was tasty when dipped in the stew. While it's a steep price for a pub entree, it's an incredibly large portion that I could barely finish, with a generous helping of meat. Another delicious dish was their Beer Battered Cod & Chips (€23.50), consisting of an expertly-fried large piece of cod with a perfectly-crispy exterior, chips, salad, and mushy peas. Their chips are thick-cut with a crunchy skin, yet tender, soft interior, and great when paired with their tangy, mayonnaise-based sauce. This is a lovely spot for generously-portioned pub fare in the charming neighborhood of Booterstown, and I'm more than willing to pay a premium for its fun, laid-back atmosphere, fast and friendly service, and tasty dishes; we'll certainly be returning to attend one (or more) of their various themed nights!
