The best seafood restaurant in the area, in my humble opinion: and what a view! The menu itself is fantastic but it was the specials that caught my and my boyfriend's attention: Sound of Jura lobster, and Sound of Jura crab is what we ended up going for. We finished the meal with some delicious drambuie creme brulee, although it was hard to choose what to go for considering the creativity and extent of the dessert menu. Was at Tayvallich this week for a few days holiday and ate at the Tayvallich Inn. Myself and hubby both had the sirloin steak and were delighted with the service and the meal. Drinks at the bar are a bit pricey at over £3 for a Tennents lager but the meal was fantastic and prices in the restaurant were reasonable. read more
