Many of the employees have continued to stay working here even with the changes and the stores continue to serve the community with their Run Squad membership available to be part of a running group and have extra benefits. Also they are active in local track teams helping supply needed quality gear. We stopped tshopping for our yearly upgrade of our shoes after many miles have worn out last years. I've always been really picky when it comes to buying shoes. Everyone tells you that since our feet are all different, you should never buy shoes online, since you really don't know what kind of fit you'll get. Then I checked around to see if it was available. I was disappointed to not find it UNTIL I checked out TC Running. I have been a customer for several years and have always appreciated the knowledge, courtesy and experience of the staff when choosing the right shoe for me. However, I am very disappointed in the lack of customer support when a brand that they carry is found to be inferior and they refuse to accommodate their customer fairly. Shoes failed with less than 4 months use and the best that they can do is 20% off a new pair? Especially when they admit the brand has had many complaints about durability? The unwillingness of the staff to seek a better outcome "up the ladder" was the clincher. The correct response should have been that they would go to bat for me with the brand and ask the GM for a hefty discount to preserve my loyalty. Unfortunately, I think I'm going to have to find a new place to buy my workout shoes. One that backs up their products and stops selling inferior ones. :-( read more

I got in for the first time to any of the DC runnings because I was recommended to come see their shoes. They take care of you the minute you enter they don't put pressure on you and every 5 minutes to come to check on you to see if you need anything. Great collection. So i was looking around for somewhere to buy a pair of running shoes and saw the reviews to TC running and decided to give them a go. I walked in and the gentlemen that helped me saw my old beat to hell sneakers and guessed i was in for new ones. He looked at my old sneakers and saw the tread on them and i explained i had some knee issues and i was after something pretty padded to help with knee pain. He offered to grab a few options and came out with 4 different brands. I tried them on and while deciding between 2 (wearing one of each) he noticed my gait while walking around and pointed out the pair that were better for me. Great fast service. TC Running is a very great company that has very knowledgable and attentive staff. I am a regular customer who has always experienced helpful service that has helped me find the best options as far as shoes go. Just recently, I went there to pick up new shoes and it was a very unpleasant and uncomfortable experience. The young man who helped me was very sarcastic, very rude, did not listen to me, and judged me to the point where he basically acted like he knew everything about me and that my opinion did not matter. Not to mention his unexpected and sarcastic swearing. When he rung my shoes up he told me to not be a dumbass for waiting so long to get shoes. Overall, I left feeling very disappointed and upset because of the way I was treated. When spending over hundred dollars on shoes you expect good help so you can make the best decision and he did not pay attention nor did he offer any helpful suggestions. On that note, I will be attending a different store next time and or asking for someone else to help me if I do go back again because it would be very disappointing to deal with his service again. read more
