Steve H and I quickly made friends with the guy running the karaoke - he was awesome and did a great job! I drank some gin and tonics and had a couple of shots and enjoyed the atmosphere. The shots were a little small, so not sure what was up with that. I assumed it had something to do with the dry county and how you have to have a membership to drink. This is the kind of place where people are friendly and everyone is welcome it seemed. I saw all walks of life in the bar, which is always a good thing. The bartenders were great! There were pool tables and people having a great time all around. I could tell the people singing karaoke get lots of practice and likely sing the same songs over and over, but that is another reason why this bar was so awesome. It almost felt like going back in time a bit here too. The bar is a little divey and kind of a whole in the wall place, but this all adds to the persona of the bar. The restaurant overall seemed a bit empty when we came in, but I think it's because it turned out to be a bar and most people go to bars at night.
